I ordered the passion fruit tea, which had jelly bits that added a fun, popping texture. It was so tasty! I highly recommend trying this spot when visiting Chicago. You won’t regret it!“

“Came in with a friend who had never had boba before. The owner(?) recommended her a flavor and offered to make her a different kind if she didn't like it. She had brown sugar, I had taro, and my wife had a caramel latte boba. All were delicious! We also got the mini pancake bites which were fantastic. The owner(?) was super nice and gave us free water as well. If it wasn't a 40 minute drive for us we would be here all the time!“

“I am pretty critical of boba as there are so many places that pop up and fall short. I was honestly very impressed with palgong and have nothing but good things to say.
1) we arrived an hour before closing, and the tapioca was still fresh with a good chew (already winning in my book!)
2) they had a great selection of flavors, but more importantly, they offered the classic flavors like regular milk tea which had the perfect amount of ice & sweetness.
3) the Korean corn dogs are made in house which I thought was so cool! They are 100% beef which is appreciated since I don’t eat pork. It was fried to perfection and dressed with yummy sauces.
4) they had some fun activities, there was a wall of claw machines that you could buy tokens to play and another side that had some free family games like jenga and connect four.
5) Lastly, and one of the most important points; it was very clean inside like surprisingly clean. The tables did not have crumbs or anything sticky, the bathroom was spotless.
I love when establishment pays attention to large & small details, it is very aesthetically decorated . I will definitely be back when I’m in the area and highly recommend to anyone looking for some good bubble tea!

“I am in love with this shop! I went three days in a row lol. They have an amazing variety of toppings of drinks, not a HUGE menu but like I said you have many options so you can mix and match different flavors and toppings. Super cute setup, love the decorations. Very friendly staff and a good amount of seating. They have a chalk wall which anyone can draw in and two little boba plushies that sit on the table! I loved it and highly recommend ❤️“

“Fast service and employees are always so kind and willing to initiate conversation! You can tell that they genuinely care about the customer's experience! The boba is a perfect texture, not too chewy and not too hard. The milk tea is the perfect amount of sweet. Would definitely recommend going and checking it out!“
“The team here is super friendly and very responsive. I usually get a response through email in 2-3 hours. Whenever I need inventory, they let me pick it up the next day at the Warehouse. When they deliver, it’s always on Thursdays and very reliable. Great company to deal with!“

“We love supporting local business in the city of Des Plaines! This was a gem that we found today and the coffee was delicious. The employees of River Woods Funeral Chapels had the LaVie En Rose and the Mocha. We loved getting to know the staff and making friends in the lobby. Parking was also very convenient. “Having recently moved near the area, I finally decided to check this place out. I absolutely love trying new boba shops, and I am thrilled that this one is so close by. Great atmosphere with cute decorations and plenty of seating. There was only one worker behind the counter at the time who greeted me as soon as I walked in. She was so sweet and made my drink very quickly.
As for the boba itself… it’s great! I got a brown sugar boba milk tea which I was glad to know was non-dairy (despite my love for all things dairy, I am lactose-intolerant. Booooo). The milk tea itself was great. For a brown sugar drink, it wasn’t too sweet at all, which I liked as I usually get my drinks with less sweetness. However, the tapioca was a little hard, a result of it either sitting out for too long or being chilled. I’m sure it would’ve been a thousand percent better with the tapioca’s real chewy texture, but I suppose I can’t complain since I walked in on a slow Wednesday afternoon.
Great shop overall, and I surely will be a regular!
