“Oh My God! The food is OUTSTANDING!!! My best friend was moving from California to NY with her three kids (i was helping) and while driving I was looking up places near where we were staying to eat. I saw Aunt Bea’s cafe and thought how cute! My moms name was Bea and I lost her some time ago so we felt we HAD to come here for dinner. Well Aunt Bea did NOT disappoint. The food was absolutely amazingly delicious. A fantastic home cooked meal is just what we needed, and she was super sweet. We left with full bellies, more than satisfied tastebuds and warm hearts.“

“Last night we went to Chevin's Kitchen and Catering located inside Kavanaugh’s Hilltop Bar and Grill in Rock Island. This is the second time we have stopped in recently for the daily special. We are so glad we did. From the prompt greeting by the servers and bar staff to the made to order burger sliders with fresh cut fries everything was AMAZING! Our servers were on top of it and so friendly. The food was GREAT! If you haven’t checked this place out yet or if you have forgotten about one of the oldest bars in the neighborhood don’t snooze on this! Great food and great service! We can’t wait to go back! — at Kavanaugh's Hilltop.“

She is absolutely horrible, if I knew she was going to be my waitress the next time I went I would never go again. “Took my mother here for Mothers Day. Had been here previously for dinner. Mom had steak and shrimp and I had a BLT. Our waitress acted like she didn't want to be there. Was only back once to refills drinks. Place wasn't that busy. Maybe she was just having a bad day.“

“Our son goes to augustana and we were there to visit one of his friends recommended us going there and also recommended the mushroom fries I will say it left you wanting more….. great food , great beer I had the sweet potato. Brew and also tried October fest 👍we will be back!!“

“They were running a special on the Hog Skillet the morning we came in. Apparently, they were using a special pork tenderloin for it so we both decided to order it. The food came out quickly but the sliced, breaded pork tenderloin was so hard and rubbery that neither of us could stomach it. My friend let the server know and she apologized profusely before taking the dishes away and bringing out new ones, STAT. The second Hog Skillet was so much better. The pork tenderloin was nice and moist inside and crispy on the outside. Just the way it should be! The server said that they went back to the original recipe for the re-make. The bad batch was frozen, I guess. This is a lesson not to cut corners! It's awful that the first dish was not up to standards but the staff all addressed the situation very professionally.“

“Only good thing about this place is the view. Went last night to celebrate a birthday and I spent more time waiting for my beer than being able to sit down and enjoy my time. 10+ minute wait for a beer with only 5 People around the bar is pretty ridiculous. Needless to say I was pretty upset by the end of the night.“

“We were staying in Iowa, but we had to go to Illinois for a tender loin and made rite sandwich. Not far from the interstate, a cute dinner atmosphere, and pretty big portions. We opted for the bigger sandwiches on the menu and shared. The service checked in a few times. Definitely recommended.“

“I travel the world for a living and I love to try Wings all over the world. Enough that I have my own wing blog!? Their Wings were amazing! Cooked to perfection. Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and their flavor was amazing. My only complaint is they wouldn't let me mix two flavors. They had so many to choose from. I usually only eat three or four wings and I really wanted half and half order. But they said no. I would love to have tried at least2. I'm so glad I chose the dry rub garlic parm. They were so yummy. They actually get my rare rating of 10. I definitely recommend this place. Great atmosphere and so many amazing choices of Frosty beverages!

“Excellent food and an awesome owner. Try the desert egg rolls and you won’t be disappointed. My wife and I used them for our caterer for our wedding and they did an amazing job. The guests said that it was some of the best wedding food they ever had. Cannot recommend enough, both for a restaurant and for a caterer!“

“So about 9 almost 10 years ago I met this nice lady named Kristi she came with a friend that did a guest spot at my tattoo shop in La Crosse, WI. My husband was down there about a month or two ago he came to that bar and she remembered my husband even after he lost over 200lbs. Every time I come down to Illinois I am going to end up here. Great atmosphere and met sooooo many awesome people. Love this place great hometown feel. Food is phenomenal and of course you get Kristi Luv! See you probably in February!!!!!“

“Went in today on a whim. Saw their Super Bowl post and sounded good. It is SO cute and fun in there. The kids loved it! The music was on point and the trivia they had on 3 different screens kept us laughing and conversating. And the food! All of our food was so good! Took all leftovers home and they are already all gone! Waitress was sweet too, definitely a huge plus! This is a hidden gem and a must! Thank you“

“This place is an absolute gem! The passion Chef has for his restaurant is obvious the moment you walk in the door, or why you observe and interact with the staff, this is a well oiled machine! I travel exclusively for work and always look for unique places to eat that are not chains, and Duck City delivers. It’s amazing that a small bistro in Davenport, IA can compete with any place in any city, large or small. Highly recommend and I’ll be back“

“I unfortunately did not get a chance to try the food I was on a charity ride
Stop long enough to have a couple of lemonade spilled all over myself in the bartender was very nice gave me a towel to clean up after my mess and gave me an additional lemonade we sat at the outside bar which is phenomenal definitely get the spot a try
I'll be back for the food ASAP.
