“Several hits:the fried green tomatoes, the pesto feta board-had to order more bread as it came with 4 tiny slices. Salmon was amazing, pesto scallops not that great, shrimp/corn risotto tasted like I was eating straight salt. Very disappointing. The worst was the food runner-she dumped down our food every time with the most unpleasant demeanor. Our server was very nice and he provided attentive dinner service. Maybe it was an off night, but we weren't too thrilled with some of our meals.“

“I don’t like to leave poor reviews but hoping this will help the restaurant do better. We ordered at 1:09 pm, at 1:30 I finally went up front to check on our food. I did this because I saw others eating that were in line behind me. My tray with my children’s meals was sitting there, holding on cheese curds. I was able to grab my food. My bun was as hard as a rock, food was Luke warm. They should have brought my food then brought out the curds later. Also, I received 12 cheese curds, this was very upsetting considering it’s a $2 up charge for curds. Never had issues in the past, hoping just a fluke because we love Culver’s!“

“Just ate lunch at this place. It is a food trailer parked next to a bar. A beautiful day to eat outside at their picnic tables. Food was excellent!! I would recommend to stop and try some of their bbq.😊👍“

“Enjoyed a delicious steak dinner with my husband on our anniversary. Had about a 5-minute wait to be seated on a Friday night. Waitress was friendly. Offered delicious warm chips and salsa while we waited for our meal. Salsa was not too spicy and not too chunky. Very good. Food was prepared well and very tasty. They offer flavored butter to top the steaks. Delicious. Steak tender and juicy. Prepared medium rare. Only thing we didn't care for was the Cole slaw.“

“This restaurant is located INSIDE the IGA. It's behind the pharmacy and deli counter.
You go through the line, get your tray and drink then seat yourself. The food is excellent. The salad and dessert bar is expansive. SO MANY great choices and variety. The hot bar doesn't have a huge selection, but what was there was delicious. Lots of seating area, clean bathrooms and a cozy environment. Staff were all extremely friendly.
We had a party of 11 and everyone enjoyed it. We will definitely be eating here again when in town. The price was great too! P.S. Just ask for extra plates if needed. They will give them to you.“

“We ate there today about 3:30 and for some unknown reason 8 tables full of customers decided they were hungry at the same time, around 20 people. I found out they had recently sent most of the staff home. We had Val for our waitress. She was absolutely completely amazing! Continued smiling and checking on us often even though she was running her legs off.“

“Our family and friends were here yesterday, Sunday, to celebrate my husband's 80th birthday and our 55th wedding anniversary. The food and service were great. “We love eating here. The one in mattoon closed a while back, so my family and I enjoy coming here. We love the red white and blue pancakes, especially anything breakfast! Love that it is open whenever, hardly anywhere is open 24-7. Our server tonight was new and she was overwhelmed, she did great though and it made us happy seeing her coworkers pep talking her instead of belittling her. 🥰
there were some really rude people at a table near us griping about their food...if someone is new and learning give them some time to learn! she handled herself really well. I dont want to say her name on here but she did great!

“Chilis is my absolute favorite restaurant and I’ve been to a fair amount of them but this is always my overall favorite. The service is amazing and food is never a miss here. Clean restaurant and extremely convenient to take care of your check at the table whenever your ready“

“We just happened to be traveling by to Effingham from Bridgeport IL and decided to stop and eat. They had all you can eat fish buffet and it was very good. My husband loved their fried potatoes. Waitress was very pleasant and great service. Nice Bar and Grill.“
