“On July 5th 2024 , my family came in from Tennessee and Indiana to try their famous Pork Tenderloin , celebrating our mother’s 83rd birthday. The service was so amazing and super friendly. I want to say thank you Smitty’s Bar and Grill for a great service.”

“Stone jug catered my wedding this past weekend and the food was absolutely perfect! My guests raved about it the entire night. We ordered the brisket, mac & cheese, beans, and potato salad. The price was also very fair per person. Please, if you’re getting married in the area, check out their catering it’s 100% worth it !!”

The restaurant was pretty busy for a Tuesday night, but we were seated right away without a reservation. Our server, Tracy H, was fantastic—attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. Uptown is definitely one of the best restaurants in the Illinois Valley. The food is always consistent, and the service is excellent no matter how busy they are. Whether you're visiting or new to the area, Uptown is a must-try. You won’t be disappointed!”
