“I was in town for Cicada research and after a long first day, Rosie's was suggested by multiple people. I had the Special and (it was steak skewers thar night) everything was prepared beautifully. The staff are amazing. By request, I returned the favor and fed them. Fried Cicadas. kitchen staff, wait staff and bartenders. all of them are skilled and have great personalities. “Stopped by on July 4th. While many places were closed, this family owned, off the beaten path restaurant surprised us. Friendly staff who were very attentive. Great food- sloppy joe and onion rings, Smash burger and potato oles, came out hot and tasty. Will be back when we are in the area.“

“We went to Baxter’s to celebrate graduation and Father’s Day. While the Food and service were great I’ve never understood why the restaurant take reservations and why the servers ask if we are there to celebrate something special when they don’t really acknowledge or make the event special that way. Hence, I am just giving it a four star. We ordered a lot of food a lot of cocktails everything tasted pretty decent and overall it was a good experience but nothing to write home about. Also, I do want to call out that we did not have any steaks we stuck with the pastas and flatbreads and a bunch of appetisers which all tasted great. We also had a vegetarian in our party and it was good that we were able to find some nice vegetarian options. Highly recommend the strawberry spinach salad which was a summer special.“

“We stopped in for a late lunch and it was terrific! My husband and I split the tenderloin lunch that was one of today's specials and we got an order of tots with it. Knowing we were splitting it they delivered with everything divided on 2 plates, how nice. Tenderloin was perfectly cooked and the breading was crunchy awesomeness. Tots were crispy and delicious. Serving sizes are huge, service very good and the staff are friendly. The daily specials change daily and are always very good.“

“We were riding around looking for a place to eat and seen that they had just opened recently. We're pleasantly pleased with this restaurant. Waiter was very informative about selections and specials. We had spinach artichoke dip for appetizer and mushroom pasta and beef short rib for dinner. All were excellent and good portions. A nice change from all the bar food in town. Please patronize this establishment as good dining in the area is hard to find.“

Their staffed stayed and ensured the buffet was stocked and cleaned up and wrapped up all the leftovers when dinner was done. “I have ordered the spicy cheese curds. The service was quick, food hot and the atmosphere is calming. I will say that the cheese curds say spicy, it may be the slight Mexican in me but personally the spice after eating 12 was about 2/10, but the quality was very good. If you are visiting definitely check this place out for good food at a good price.“

“Great stay here coming into town for a little work get together with my boyfriend! Loved the decor inside and how they have everything set up. Very lovely atmosphere. Greeted at the front desk promptly by Adrianna, who was super sweet and friendly. She helped to check us in, and even humored our request to upgrade our two Queen beds to a single King, as well as a room with a balcony! Which was absolutely amazing! Made our stay 10x better. Event went great, we were back at the hotel for a wonderful stay, and in the morning we had an even better experience! We woke up early to indulge in the variety of breakfast and drink choices, and the welcoming company of Barb, Margo and Sandra! These ladies are all wonderful at what they do. Barb went the extra mile to make sure we had everything we needed and connected with us on a meaningful level that left us feeling incredibly blessed! We are so glad to have met her and had a beautiful stay. The chef(s) and wait staff did excellent! The only minor inconveniences we had were that the lids were not properly fitting the coffee cups, and for the life of us we could not find the invisible vending machine, so I guess it’s doing its job. :P Thank you! Can’t wait to come back for a little out of town stay sometime!“

“They’ve got some of/if not the best deep dish pizza south of I-80. Their thin crust is good too, bout as good as thin crusts get. Pretty much everything on the menu is good, not just the pizza, I just really enjoy their pizzas but have never had a bad meal there and we eat there fairly often. The desserts are good when they aren’t sold out, they go pretty quickly. And they do have bar area, and i believe serve alcohol, but I can’t swear to that, haven’t drank in 12 years.“

“To be honest, El Paso Golf Club has proven to be a favorite of mine.

Their selection is sufficient, offering a nice variety to please everyone.

The servings are very large.
Enough that even with a very big appetite like I have, there has always been leftovers to take home for the next day.

Everything I've eaten appears to be freshly made. As an example, the Caesar Salad was obviously sitting around, waiting to be served. It was served in a low profile bowl that was the size of a dinner plate. Covered in large chunks of grilled chicken breast and was actually a MEAL, all by itself.

I also ordered a rueben sandwich with sweet potato fries...

As it turns out,the salad was so good and so large, that I never took a bite out of my sandwich, but ate some of the abundance of fries. They appear to be freshly cut and nicely cooked. Very good 👍.

The sandwich looks awesome with plenty corned beef spilling over the edges...

Can't wait for lunch today.

I wish I had taken pictures, but sadly, I didn't.

You will just have to go experience it yourself.

And to top it all off the price was very reasonable, averaging about $20 per person.
