I came with family to celebrate a birthday one time, and the owner came out to personally wish my tita a happy birthday. It was such a small gesture, but I think it's the sign of a good business and a caring owner :) thank you for making the Stl community feel a little bit closer to home.“

“My friend and I went to Kain Tayo (Let's Eat!) today for lunch. What a wonderful place filled with warm people in a pretty setting. The restaurant is easy to find right on the main street, W Broadway. There is street parking. The menu was impressive with lots of interesting meals to try. We had a hard time deciding among so many choices. I ordered the Crispy Kare-Kare with pork belly and veggies in a mild sauce. My friend ordered the Sisig which is chicken and pork flavored hot but she requested mild. The owner/chef was glad to modify the recipe. WE really liked the Calamansi drink - it was lemony with a lime ending. Yum! Three generations were working today including a 16 year old. Everyone was so nice and helpful. We loved both dishes and started choosing what we will try the next time. There is a little collection or items for sale in one corner. I bought rice sticks and my friend bought rice flour and a tshirt for her grandson. It was a lovely visit. We assured them that we will be back.“

Even with prom and no reservation, they were able to get us in right away, the service was fast & friendly, the meal was excellent AND a lot of food, needing two “To Go” Boxes. Highly recommend our choice of specials for the day, the Hunters Steak & Spring Penne Pasta with Shrimp!“

“This is a place where we're having breakfast frequently. If you're hungry for breakfast you can get plenty for your dollar here and of course you're covered if you're eating light as well. I've had breakfast sandwiches and the Western omelette and enjoyed it all. Service is friendly and gives you just enough attention without breaking the table conversations. Great all around!“

“Wow! This was our first time at Popeyes and there were 8 of us celebrating my in-laws 40th wedding anniversary! Chuck was our server and everything was absolutely incredible. The service, atmosphere & food far exceeded my expectations. We had onion rings and crab cakes as an appetizer. Both were some of the best we've ever had. The bread and salads were fantastic as well. Steaks, pork chops and fried chicken were all to die for. Because we were celebrating an anniversary, two slices of cheesecake were brought out & were SO good! I can't wait to go back!!

“No brainer, if you are hungry, you are in for a treat. They sold out of the fried chicken dinner so I had the chicken strips, Amazing!!! My wife had a burger with egg and bacon and said it was super delicious. The owner is very nice and easy to talk to. Had a great time !“
