“Great food! Tried it on a whim when traveling from Chicago and the food is some of the best shawarma I've had in a while. The price for lunch is incredible for the insane amount you get as well!”

“I recommend everything on the menu. Baldarotta’s is incredible. I’m Italian myself and I’ve never had any Italian food more authentic than here. I’m also a relatively picky eater and I know with certainty that I could literally order anything on the menu and be shouting its deliciousness. And it’s even delicious as carry out or as leftovers when no longer technically “fresh.” A must try and you’ll absolutely return. We come from 40 minutes away solely to dine here.”

“Traveled 75 minutes to visit Riggs after finding them online.
I figured I'd come to a smaller location but when I arrived I was very much surprised!
The location is a fairly large space. The atmosphere and vibe was great. I arrived to an event going on. The staff behind the bar did an amazing job, taking wave after wave of orders and never missing a beat or seeming stressed!

They were friendly and the beers were solid! I had the india pale lager,the red ale and the dunked. All very good!
Definitely will come back and also tell my people about it.”

“Bunny’s Tavern never disappoints. We often visit before seeing shows at the Station Theatre, and get drinks after. The food and drinks were great as always, and the atmosphere makes it easy to settle in and stay longer than you planned…which we definitely did tonight, hanging out and playing the slots right up until close. What really stood out, though, was a moment of genuine kindness from the staff. Just before closing, a very elderly gentleman came in wearing his Illini gear, bright-eyed and bushy tailed, clearly thinking it was morning or game time, even though the game had long since ended. He sat down and asked for a cup of coffee, and the bartenders greeted him by name. When they gently told him it was nearly midnight and they didn’t have any coffee brewed. He was completely surprised. “You gotta be kidding me!!” One of the bartenders sat with him, spoke kindly and calmly, and then said she’d walk him home and help reset the clock in his apartment again. After what was clearly a long shift, seeing that level of patience and compassion was honestly beautiful. Great food, great drinks, and truly good people behind the bar. That kind of grace says everything about a place. I’ll be back, and I’ll be recommending it.”

“This is simply the best chinese place I have found in three years of searching. I came from NJ, and for anyone from NJ, Fuzhounese is what we typically get. I cannot reccomend this place enough.

I loved the General’s lunch special and the Fried Wontons. The Almond Chicken was also a great one, as the person lying down on the couch can attest to.

The portions on even the lunch special were generous, with this being one of the few times I stopped halfway through. The bag was almost overstuffed, and the only way to extract the containers was by ripping the paper bag. (RIP)

It’s a family owned business with kids drawings hanging up, sometimes even the kids helping process transactions. Looking for a hot delicious cheap meal? This is your spot.”

Spicy Korean Chicken w/White Rice $14, (brown rice is a up charge) along with adding Broccoli ($3 more). Love to ask for the spicy sauce of the side so I can mix it into the entire bowl after breaking the meat and broccoli up into the rice.

Fusion House Rolls is to die forrrrr! $16 They are always so big, good, crispy, and the choice of meat and sauces are delicious all together! My favorite Rolls!

-Next we will try one of the Stir Fry Meals (Chicken, Beef, or Shrimp) because it looked amazingly delicious seeing others ordering/eating it.”

“Shout out to the Intermezzo Cafe staff at Krannert Center on campus today. Wonderful customer service and delicious food. Today's lunch special was a BLT and side of your choice. After a brief hesitation (I love BLTs!), I opted to order the chicken salad wrap and fruit cup. Delicious! They offer a decent variety of breakfast and lunch options with quick and friendly service. Highly recommend if you have not tried them.”

“I visited 25 O’Clock Brewing Company for a quick drink and had a really solid overall experience.

The vibe is very chill with an open, comfortable layout. There’s a mix of bar seating, tables, and outdoor seating, and even though there was a decent crowd, it still felt cozy and relaxed. The space also has board games available, which adds to the laid-back atmosphere. I also found the bathroom doors—made of bare wood with handwritten messages from guests—interesting and unique, though I’m not entirely sure if that’s intentional or just part of the aesthetic.

We were greeted by a friendly bartender who offered samples, which was appreciated and helped with decision-making. There was also a happy hour from 4–6 PM with $1 off drafts.

In addition to drinks, they also offer food options, though we didn’t order anything during this visit.

I wasn’t in the mood for alcohol, so I tried the Cloud Mountain kombucha instead, which I’d heard is popular locally. I was able to sample a 2 oz pour for $2 before committing, which was a nice option. The kombucha itself was crisp, refreshing, and not overly sweet—honestly one of the better ones I’ve had.

My partner tried three beers and found them decent, though nothing particularly memorable.

Overall, this is a great spot for a relaxed drink with a good atmosphere and friendly service. The kombucha stood out as excellent, and while the beers were more average, the overall experience makes it worth a visit.”

This dish was spectacular with a generous portion of Maine lobster it was cooked and seasoned perfectly with truffle oil and spring onions. I absolutely loved the taste and definitely would order again. Everything looked excellent there with everything made from fresh ingredients. I’ll be returning to this establishment without a doubt. Additionally, it was a very cold weekend and it was difficult to study inside the cafe because of the low temperature. The fans were on and it didn’t seem that the room was being heated.”

We ordered 15 different entrees from Braised Pork Belly, Orange Chicken, Tofu, Dan Dan Noodles, Dry Green Beans, etc. all of it was served hot and fresh on the middle of a glass rotating center piece so all of us could try everything family style. 10/10!! We will be frequenting this restaurant.”
