“the beef stew and the pho was 10 and 10. Our server was Nine and she was super friendly.”
“This is one impressive brewery, variety, flavors, an indulgent chime to tingle all the ears and taste buds. I noticed plenty of space and parking in this accessible location. Staff was in touch and serving up some samples in their rustic atmosphere. Can't say to food but assuming it is as good as the beers; has to grab a four pack of the schwarzbier noting it's rich and complex balance. My friends enjoyed as well, can easily recommend Riggs!”
“The falafel is amazing but everything is delicious. I'm so glad my student's apartment is down the street.”
“Absolutely amazing food, amazing service and amazing atmosphere. Paintings on the wall were breathtaking. Any time we are in town we will be eating here!!!”
“After today's experience at Baldarotta's Porketta & Sicilian Sausage we will never be going back. The level of unprofessionalism and discrimination exhibited by one of their owners was astonishing. To give a brief synopsis we were excited to try out their new location for lunch. We were immediately met with rudeness for no apparent reason by the woman at the counter, I later learned she was actually one of the owners. I honestly just brushed it off and didn't think too much into it at first. But that changed the moment we said we would be eating there and get time changed even more as she stepped out from the counter and said "I'm going to stick you guys in here." as she turned on the light to the extra dining room. For context there's maybe 15 tables in their main dining room and two or three of them had customers. Additionally, this was around 11:30 am and there were no customers behind us in line. The extra dining room was dirty and had food on the floor and the tables needed cleaned. The couple that had been in front of us got great customer service and the woman was very pleasant with them. It became very apparent that we were being treated differently due to the dog, who is a trained service dog being with us. We decided to ask for our money back and leave even though we love their food and have been looking forward to it. When we walked back into the main room and poorly asked if we could cancel our order and be refunded the response we received was absolutely in a harsh tone. She gave me my cash back and I said thank you. She responded by ignoring me and agreeing as if I was invisible. We walked around the building to the parking lot and I told Matt that I couldn't leave without having a conversation with her because the entire interaction just did not sit well with me. I walked back in and patiently waited for a couple at the counter to finish ordering. It should be noted the light to the other dining area we were told to go sit in was off again. Again when I approached I received a cold response after witnessing her being very pleasant with the couple in front of me. I asked if I could speak with a manager or someone in charge. That is when she informed me that it was her and she was a part owner. I asked her why she has been so rude towards us and that we felt discriminated against because of our service dog. She told me she didn't see anything stating he was a service dog. I explained ADA law does not require a service animal to be vested and that she never asked if he was or even mentioned dogs were not allowed, had she asked or said something we would have informed her he was. I would also like to note that the majority of our interaction with her Lambeau was sitting or in a down stay not causing any issues. She admitted that she did treat us differently because of the dog and said she could have handled the situation better but never actually took accountability or apologized for the entire situation. I'm sorry for the long read but I truly couldn't stay quiet about this. I hope she learned something from this interaction today and as much as I'm saddened and disappointed in the entire situation I'm honestly glad it happened to us and not someone who is not able to speak up for themselves. I truly hope they decide to do some self reflecting and learn how to be more accommodating for individuals with disabilities in the future.”

“Tiana is literally the best! You’ll never get better service anywhere else. The food was fantastic and so was the service. I don’t think I’ve ever had a better dinning experience in my life. The Lava Trio and Grilled Salmon Ginger were phenomenal. I can’t say enough when it comes to the customer service. I’m a huge foody and dont mind spending money for good food and service. I’ve traveled all over the world and this was one of the best experiences ive ever had. Tiana was the best server I’ve ever had while dinning out and I’ve been all over the world. Truly fantastic. This place would not be the same without Tiana. She honestly puts the cherry on top.”
“A friend and I met before an event we were going to at Carle. She had the meatloaf special and I had chicken bacon wrap. Her plate was excellent and too large of a portion for her to finish. My wrap was good but not something I would order again. Service was spectacular and they were fine with us visting for a bit after we ate. Definitely going back soon!”

“We were on the last leg of a cross-country trip from San Francisco to Michigan and hungry made itself known. We made a flying drive-thru tour of UI-UC and ordered pizza and empanadas from Manolo’s on the way into town. While zooming down I-57, we noshed on a cheese and chicken pizza as well as three empanada varieties: inferno chicken, jalapeño chicken, and potato and cheddar. Everything was awesome! I especially appreciated the pizza crust: thin, pliable, chewy, flavorful but not too salty. The one-man show running the operation during our quick stop on 12/29/21 even took time to use a clean cutter on the pizza so the PN/TN allergic diner could enjoy the feast. Is a desire to try the rest of the empanadas a valid reason for the offspring to attend UI-UC? Maybe it validates a return, daytime visit.”
“A long time staple on Goodwin, in south part on campus. You are in the right place here for cool in hot summer and warmth in winter. Bread🥖. friends.”
“Matt is the best most personable bartender you could ask for! Bar always clean, well mannered staff, and the drinks are reasonably priced! Definitely worth going to Monday night hoots!”

“Exactly what you should expect from a local family run Chinese restaurant, great food, great portions and super fast, don’t expect a bunch of frilly customer service, they’re a no nonsense place that does great takeout. They’re exactly as advertised I hope they stay in business as long as possible so we can keep getting our spicy shredded beef orange chicken and crab Rangoon order for years to come ??”
“We're very thankful to Analog for hosting our party the night before our wedding! We rented the whole space and ordered manolos pizza. The wine was amazing as always and the bar was the perfect size and ambiance for our event. We appreciate working with the owner and bartenders to have a great night welcoming all of our out of town guests!”
“My go to Americanized Chinese in this area. Food is always hot and yummy, and made correctly the first time. You get what you pay for. It’s a family owned business with kids drawings hanging up, sometimes even the kids helping process transactions. Looking for a hot delicious cheap meal? This is your spot.”

“Normally, the food is great and shopping is fun. But 3 days ago, I ordered the homestyle chicken salad and the salad was mostly yellow lettuce - the chef had cut the heart of the head into the salad. It was so bitter that I could not eat it. I mentioned it to the server, who should have noticed, but didn’t. Why did the chef serve this? Still, I would recommend because the food is usually good.”
“So good!! Very nice and clean. The staff are all very friendly as well. And all the food here is tea good! The best Philly cheese steaks, gyros, burgers, and chicken!! Hands down the best in town!! And the shrimp are jumbo! And so good! I’m not a big fish eater but I do love the shrimp as well. And my parents love their fish as well! Can’t beat it”
“Rosati’s Pizza in Urbana has quickly become my go-to for delicious, reliable comfort food. Whether I’m craving their deep dish, thin crust, or a hearty Italian beef sandwich, they never disappoint. The pizza is always hot, cheesy, and loaded with toppings—perfectly balanced with that signature Rosati’s flavor. The staff is friendly and quick with orders, whether dining in or picking up. I also appreciate how clean and organized the place is. Great value for the quality, and the portions are generous. If you’re in the Urbana area and looking for classic Chicago-style pizza or just a great meal with great service, Rosati’s is the spot. Highly recommend!”
“There was only one woman working the lunch rush today and she was like a well oiled machine! She was cranking out sandwiches and salads and was not skimping on ingredients. It was impressive!”
“The food was tasty, and felt authentic.
We ordered quesadillas which were creamy and cheese, the first bite itself felt yum ?
Vegetarian options: You can say them if u don't want any non veg ingredients in the food”

“Came here to study and absolutely loved it. It’s a little noisy so if you’re looking for a quiet place, this probably isn’t the spot for you, but if you like some background I highly recommend!! Staff is so kind and welcoming and the vibe in here is great, also doesn’t get too crowded!! I’m literally gonna come here everyday.”
“They changed the recipe of the fries and I am devastated. We went from thin, crunchy, delicious fries with garnish to the basic french fries with no flavor. They’re only good with dipping sauce or another food item. I used to ONLY order french fries, but not anymore because they don’t taste the same. ? THEY ALSO RAISED THE PRICE FROM $2.50 TO $3.00!!!! ?”

“My fiance and I love Burrito King! We have made a routine during Farmer’s Market season to always get two breakfast burritos with pastor 🩷 The burritos are our end of the week treat that we look forward to. We really appreciate how friendly and personable everyone is. I love knowing we are supporting a local family and their hard work, the fact that their burritos are so yummy makes it even better. Breakfast Burrito with pastor for life!🔥”
“Great Restaurant the portions are big and everything is so good, I recommend the kimchi/reg fried rice, it’s enough to share with 2 people.
Even though we came 40 min before closing everyone was so kind. We felt bad because we didn’t know the restaurant closed, so we were speed eating XD love y’all I would order everything if I could every day <3”
“I visit this subway frequently. I have gone to many subways, and as of the past 5 years most of them skimp out on the meat. The women, who I presume is the owner, does anything but this.If you were to double your meat you would be quadrupling it by comparison to every other subway restaurant in Illinois. The women is kind, polite, courteous, and the bread is fresh! Another thing that is severely lacking at most subways. It costs $200,000 to open a subway franchise, and I understand why others try to cut costs, but this shop does anything but that! I don't know what's with all the negative reviews. Never would have guessed the best subway in town is hiding in a Walmart.”
“Well we all know Boomerangs is an awesome place in East Urbana, Boomerangs supports and hosts live music and has several shows through the week and weekend. The food is great, the staff is great, the atmosphere is great. Music, Gaming, Large Tv's for sports and pool tables and again the music is great, did I mention the music at Booms? and of course the infamous boom jams, which is the best Jams around! Boomerangs Bar & Grill for lunch, dinner, music, gaming, sports and music 😍👍🤘”
“This is the most friendly, non judgemental place that I have patronized for the last 5 years. Everyone is welcome, and it is like a family of like minded folks. Never feel uncomfortable, alone or with a group. They like to maintain a peaceful non confrontational tap room to enjoy great beer, trivia. Pool, games, etc
Love this place
Cheers”
“Catered our wedding 100+ people and was impressed. Our catering experience was fantastic. Everyone had great things to say about the food. The staff was great, professional, and was in and out with no mess. Very impressed they took all the trash with them. They were aware and cautious with the food allergies. Appreciate everything!”
“If you want a freshly made, warm burger for an affordable price, this is the place to go. I usually never got food at dairy queen because obviously the hype revolves around the ice cream, which is understandable but I think the burgers are underrated. They usually also have a deal where you can get 2 for I think $6 which is so worth it.”
“One of the nearest places to get coffee from the engineering building from the north of campus. This coffee is on the first floor of Grainger Engineering Library. Therefore, if the Library is closed, the coffee shop is not open either. There is an eating and drinking area next to the espresso royale. The avacado toast is also good but it may take longer for the staff to prepare this item. I usually order an mid or large ice latte here.”
“This place is honest and delicious. If you go here and also go to the location on Gregory, you will feel right away this particular location does not trick you with meat quantity unlike that Subway on Gregory. Note that this review is written after several visits for both locations over a duration of 1 year.”
“Had a lovely dinner with my beautiful wife we enjoyed the perfect lighting and music roomy booth tables. We will go back and invite friends and family.”

“They normally have great service but not only has my items been missing… When they brought me my pizza they had the nerve to give me a frozen pizza… That’s why I stopped tipping and why I stopped order for awhile… Smh! 8/30/22 5pm”
“Excellence in espirit. Variety of genres serves most on most days. Check it out.”
“Best Place for great Thai, my husband and I love it always, never a bad experience! :-)”
“Love a flight- or two to try all the new flavors! My favorite thing to do it drink some flights and compare! So many local ingreadients- great people! Will keep coming back 10/10.”
“Great food, great experience and great owners. I manage a local contracting company and during the hail storm they kept their business local and chose our company so we should to!”

“Upon opening, I order the lobster Mac & Cheese to go. One serving was quite enough for two. This dish was spectacular with a generous portion of Maine lobster it was cooked and seasoned perfectly with truffle oil and spring onions. I absolutely loved the taste and definitely would order again. Everything looked excellent there with everything made from fresh ingredients. I’ll be returning to this establishment without a doubt. Surprisingly wonderful food!”

The staff and the manager were awesome to deal with and I showed up at 315 and my order was ready packed with napkins ketchup salt and pepper”
“For those in Champaign-Urbana seeking Panda Express, this location is highly recommended. The food consistently meets expectations, the portions are satisfying, and the establishment maintains a clean environment. It might be beneficial to consider adding changing tables to the restrooms.”
