“variety of Indian breads, loved the Onion Kulcha! incredibly delicious taste and levels of spicyness are offered with every dish! no more spice overwhelm which can ruin the subtle tastes in Indian cuisine. courteous staff, gracious and available servers. Loved Aloo & cauliflower dish My partner enjoyed robust Dal dish which had veggie tidbits to round out flavor. we loved the food here. Best Indian fare in the area!“

“The service is always as warm as the dishes. The food is fusion and they make it work so well! My new favorite (replacing the shrimp tacos with makhni sauce) is the shorba (spicy tomato soup) with paneer sliders (beautiful umami grilled cheese).“

“The Thrupthi Foods Store - snacks side restaurant (back of the store) makes so mouthwatering Tandoori! This is our all time favorite and best item for weekend. Chicken Puff and Veg puff are so fresh and delicious . Also, I love the Alu tiki .It is so delicious and yum.
It is rare to have fresh and healthy Indian food in Chicago , fortunately you can find here . It is my number one to-go place to grab a mouthwatering snack and go. Even the biriyanis are really good. Overall food is much better than nearby Indian restaurants.“

“Must-Read-Review!
If you're a fan of flavorful and aromatic dishes, the Hyderabadi Biryani is a must-try. From the first bite, you'll be transported to a world of rich, vibrant spices and tender, perfectly cooked meat. This biryani boasts a harmonious blend of saffron, cardamom, and cloves, creating a symphony of flavors that dance on the palate. The rice is fragrant and fluffy, with each grain perfectly separated and infused with the savory depth of the biryani's spices. The garnish of fried onions and fresh coriander adds an extra layer of texture and freshness. Served with a cooling raita or a tangy salan, this biryani is nothing short of a culinary masterpiece. Every aspect of this dish is executed with precision and passion, making it a true five-star experience.“

“Curry leaf is a very 'family restaurant' vibe to it, something that's rarely seen in new restaurants nowadays. The staff is very courteous, the food is amazing (specially Biriyanis and Beef fry..🥰)and the food is priced economically (not too cheap, nor too expensive). a great place to eat to hearts content!“
“Fresh wonderful dishes! It took a while for the order to be ready but worth it. Can't wait to try buffet.“

“If your palate is interested in an explosion of new taste and flavors then please try this place! This was our first visit and we will return. Dishes I’d recommend Manchurian baby corn, Chicken 65!“
“I came here thinking it was an “asian market” and I suppose it is, but east asian! Was super impressed by the service and the Indian food selection. They didn’t have all the ingredients I wanted to make my Chinese lo mein noodles but I picked up some chai and masala packets. If only my eating window were open I would have stayed to try some of the home cooked food. It smelled delicious! Will be back!“
