“I can't say enough good things about this restaurant! They went above and beyond to take care of my veteran fiancé for Veterans Day, (even though we were a day late in being able to visit), taking care of us like family, from the regional director to all the restaurant staff. The food was terrific and my fiancé loved everything; the food, the staff, and the military/first responders decor, and the respect given to veterans. They even put his picture from his Army service days on their wall, which gave him a huge smile when he saw himself displayed on their wall along with photos of so many other veterans. And even though we don't live nearby, we will make it a point to visit them every time we get the chance to. Thanks again to everyone there!!“

“We went to Kenosha’s Mission BBQ. I was extremely pleased with the quality of service from the minute we walked in. We were greeted by Alex as if we were old friends. I need to add that I had never met this young man before walking in the door. I have dietary restrictions. He helped me place my order, provided nutrition lists and helped to make sure everything I ordered matched my needs. I have never had any restaurant help me with such sincerity before. We were also helped by a second employee to make sure the elderly person with us had the best seat for her needs. She later stopped back to see how everything else was. In addition, Alex stopped back to see if I was happy with the food choices he helped me choose. We were again surprised when Alex stopped back yet again with a special dessert treat and helped me to determine how much of it I could safely eat. I can only say “Wow!” I will certainly go back here again and if I had the ability I’d give Alex a raise! We were made to feel as if we mattered not just as customers but as people. I wish more places had employees Thank you Alex! If this is how Mission BBQ provides service more companies could learn from them and from Alex.“

“Yukon BBQ continues to be one of our favorite BBQ places, and honestly, we’re always looking forward to coming back. From the atmosphere to the service, this place has always felt special to us. The staff is friendly, the restaurant has a great vibe, and overall it’s still a place we recommend all the time to friends and family. We’ve had so many good experiences here over the years, which is why we still gladly give it 5 stars.

One thing we really miss though is the brisket from last year. Back then, the brisket had an amazing deep smoky flavor that made it stand out from other BBQ spots. You could really taste the smoke in every bite, and it honestly felt like the brisket was the star of the menu. Recently, we noticed that the smoky flavor is mostly gone. The brisket is still tender and good, but it doesn’t have that same BBQ “magic” it used to have. The electric smoke flavor—or what we used to call that smoky muse that made the brisket unforgettable—just isn’t there anymore. Because of that, we probably won’t order the brisket again, which honestly makes us a little sad because it used to be our favorite item.

That being said, Yukon BBQ is still a place we truly love. The quality overall is still good, the experience is always enjoyable, and we’ll definitely continue coming back often. We really hope maybe one day the brisket returns to the smoky style it had before, because that was something special and one of the reasons we fell in love with this place in the first place.“

“Amazing flavor. Dickey’s is legit smoked meat and delicious sides. Love their fried okra and the new brisket chili. Smoked kielbasa and pulled chicken are far and away better than “fast food.” Friendly service is a plus too. Bottom line, if you’re looking for real food that’s not the same old thing, it’s time you duck into Dickey’s.“

“Food is always good here, there is a wait time only because everything's made fresh but if you call and place your order beforehand you shouldn't have an issue with wait times. Theres also a smoothie place attached to this place and I highly recommend you try both! Your stomach will thank you 🫡“
