“Best conchas around! I’ve been eating conchas since I was a little girl, I’ve moved around my whole life and lived in another state, this panadería by far has the best conchas and my Hispanic family agrees. They are so soft and stay soft for days. No stale concha here! The conchas are smaller, but it makes the bread to sugar topping ratio perfect! No they don’t have tongs, but they have gloves and it’s not that serious. I think it’s very affordable, but if some might feel it’s more expensive, let me say, that for the quality it’s worth it. The pan is always fresh and the staff are always friendly. They do have marranitos, but they sell out fast and by the way they’re also delicious!“

“I drove 30 minutes with my non-vegan partner for this specific bakery, and we tried a variety of savory and sweet options. We ordered the po’boy, a slice of the artichoke focaccia, and a 16oz container of their chicken noodle soup to eat in the bakery. To take home, we picked out raspberry jam, pistachio rose, and lemon lavender cookies. Everything was absolutely delicious, and my partner even said they would choose these vegan options over other ones with meat/cheese/etc. The person who checked us out was super friendly, plated up what we were eating in and brought it to the table for us. We were the only customers there at that point in the day, but it still felt super cozy! Would definitely recommend, and looking forward to going again.“

“I like crumbl. However, as someone who competed in the Scripps national spelling bee, I just can't ignore the fact that crumble is spelled wrong. I mean, who really knows why they just left of the E. Like is it supposed to be CRUMB L like do I want my cookies to be in Crumbs and then take the L. Im just confused. UPDATE: The owner was nice enough to explain why their stock was low, so now I understand that they don't carry over bread. I did come into the store within 10 minutes of closing, so I will try to come much earlier next time. It sure smelled good in there, too!“

“We tried TOB last evening for the first time because my neighbor recommended this place very highly. We were blown away at how friendly the owner is, how cool this place is, and HOW DELICIOUS THE FOOD IS!!! We were told to try the clam chowder and anything with jammy bacon. We tried both things and both were so good! This place reminds me of the TV program, Cheers, because it’s very easy to talk with people; we can’t wait to go back next month :-)“

“I ordered a dairy free smash cake and a regular cake from Eye Candy Bake Shop for my daughter’s birthday. Everyone raved about the birthday cake and my daughter loved her personal cake! I was shown how to properly cut the cake and had help bringing the cake to my car - something most bakeries don’t do anymore! We will definitely order more cakes/desserts in the future!“

“I was waiting for my cookies when I observed a worker who was rolling dough. She stepped away from the dough table, and went on her personal phone, then immediately went back to touching the dough. Wearing the same pair of gloves the entire time. I made a comment that she should probably switch gloves if she is going to touch her personal phone and then peoples food. Just wanted to be sure it doesn’t happen again. That’s gross.“

Staff has always been very friendly and efficient. I always leave feeling quite satisfied and carrying a take out container for another full meal the next day. I’ve also gone to the Saint Charles location where the menu has a few variations but the same great food and service.“

“I had wanted to visit for awhile as it the name is inviting in a world of burger places.
It has stunning bakery items and sweets!
We went for lunch and hopefully a handmade, fresh sandwich. That was not what we found.
We looked at their menu board and didn't see sandwiches at all. When we asked they pointed to a wall display cooler and said they could microwave any sandwich to warm it up😕
Not what we had in mind.

“Stopped in for a first visit. Julianna was cleaning as we entered and immediately stopped to greet us. The display was bright and appetizing, offering a nice variety of baked treats. My partner chose gelato, but he was torn between a snack and their hot food items (which sounded very interesting to try)!!! Juliana had the heated patio nice and inviting, and she had great energy. We felt welcomed and eager to plan our next visit!! Five-star for sure!!“

“Was at the rustic fox today. Purchased the gf chocolate chip cookies. They were delicious. However the owner who was selling them was on the phone the entire time. Had to ask how much the cookies were. He said what kind of gf cookie was it then gave me the price. I purchased the cookies. He couldn’t even say thank you since he was on the phone. I thought that was pretty rude. Poor customer service“

Great customer service and love that you can pick up popular Filipino individually wrapped pastries or fresh cakes/slices as needed here. Prices are decent, not too high nor low. Their display case always features their freshly made rolls and cakes. I did not try their Halo-Halo (almost $8!) but I'm sure it is delicious too. If you need a big mango cake for special occasion, this is the place to go!!!!!“

“My first time here. I had the chicken empanada and 2 of the corned beef roll and a large ube matcha latte. I asked them warm of these items for me since I was here during my lunch time. And the lady was so nice and was more than happy to heat them up. The empanada was the most perfect empanada I’ve had in a long time. The crust was o flaky and buttery! The chocolate fudge flavor in the cake was phenomenal and super delicious 😋 I was supposed to pick up the cake at a certain time but plans got rearranged so I needed it 2 hours earlier then scheduled time and they STILL made it happen! I'm still very impressed with how responsive the owner, Norma, was to my emails and appreciate how thoughtful she was. She asked if I wanted to include a personal message to my sisters and brother-in-law, and I found out today that all of them really enjoyed the cupcakes. I can only imagine how hard it must be for small businesses like this one during these unprecedented times, but I'm glad that I was able to surprise my sisters and support them at the same time.
