“This cafe has a very pleasant atmosphere with friendly, uplifting staff. The coffee and specialty choices are on par with the franchise cafés. However, I believe that the brew and the specialty flavors are better and have a unique taste. I typically regularly get the amaretto or Irish cream flavoring. I have found that the mocha I get on occasion has a more pleasant flavor than those offered by Panera, SB, or DD.They have a regular crowd and customer base whom I've found pleasurable to interact with when stopping in, though I am not a daily regular. They take time to eventually learn your name when seeing you a few times. It's always inviting at Honey Hill.“

“I am 3mins from the Island Lake location, but I started driving the extra 5mins to this location instead. Getting my signature lattes done right, & my hot foods getting heat up properly is so basic you’d think every dunkin would do it right, but the Island Lake location has that issue. Glad this store keeps it right & consistent every time“

“I met a friend here about a month ago. But before I go on, I want to preface that I'm not a big coffee drinker. In fact, if I'm gonna be totally honest, I really don't like coffee. I'll drink a mocha with oat milk and an extra shot of chocolate to overwhelm the coffee flavor and will do it hot or cold. I'll get a hot apple cider if a place has it or a good hot cup of hot chocolate. Blu Fig is nestled in the tiny Mill Shops in Long Grove. The main parking lot is already inadequate to handle everything here especially Joanie's Pizza and Broken Earth Winery. However, Blu Fig is a nice addition. The small coffee shop is on the corner when you first pull into the lot and its windows and entryway face inward to the parking area and not out onto one of the two main roads in downtown Long Grove. I arrived after my friend and ordered what I mentioned above and asked for a piece of lemon cake (pound cake). To say that both were delicious is an understatement. The mocha was made with love. Not just because they put a heart in the foam on top, but it tasted that way. They took their time perfecting my cup o'mocha and brought it to me in a to go cup with the top off to showcase their heart. The pastry was delicious and is sourced from the bakery a few doors down. It's a quaint spot with 15-20 seats. The owners (a couple) pour their heart and soul into Blu Fig and you can certainly tell. Wi-fi is available and is a great nook for reading, working, meeting friends, and to start or end your day.“

They have baked goods from Riverside Bakery in McHenry, which never disappoints. Cute decor, great service, & reasonably priced.“

“You walk in to tastefully but simply decorated dining experience. Add to that a very pleasant young lady with her sweet Cuban accent welcomes you.I had garlic chicken, my son had the rib sandwich. Both were great. May be a bit more chicken in the sandwich would have put over the top. Also coffee was made to order fresh and hot with real cream.Parking: No issuesRight front of restaurant there are about 1/2 a dozen spots.“

“Ok so first things first this was my first visit..... the Owner is awesome!! The employee that made my samich was awesome as well ! Now for the food... the samich was darn good and filling the pasta salad and tater salad was homemade and you can tell! Reminds me of a typical neighborhood deli in Chicago. The meatballs are a MUST! and are homemade. I suggest everyone swing by and try the great food and if yur new ya get to spin the wheel o stuff for a treat or discount on yur next visit! “I was blown away. The people are awesome the atmosphere is amazing. The product selection is amazing. This was easily the nicest coffee shop i have ever been to. You really should make this your morning coffee stop. Starbucks doesn't hold a candle to this place.“

“We are so glad that we stopped by this hidden gem small family own business. Although the store display look kind of empty, what they have are very good. We had the BBQ pork bun (very good), 3 kind of Mille crepe cake (strawberry, rainbow and coffee, all are delicious), mini cookies (also delicious). We also had brown sugar bubble tea and taro sago coconut milk drink (soo good). If you order $30 or more, you get a free Mille crepe cake. Plus, the lady owner is very friendly. We are so happy to find this Asian bakery/dessert place in the Barrington area. We will come back for sure.“
