“If you’re after a warm, no-nonsense spot that serves coffee the way many Midwestern folks prefer, this place is an easy pick. No fancy décor, no overpriced extras—just rich, smooth coffee made the right way, hot or iced.
Every time I stop in, the team is friendly and greets me with a smile. Service moves quickly, even during the morning rush, which I truly appreciate.
For anyone in Cary searching for a solid cup of coffee without the fuss, this is the ideal stop.“

“We came here to the Cary McDonald’s on Sunday, December 14, 2025. Both times using the kiosk was straightforward, the staff was nice and our orders came out quick. We had a really good time and experience at the Cary McDonald’s, I cannot recommend this place enough after recent experiences with the one closer to home. However only thing worth noting is that the kiosks and their machines constantly struggle to sign us in when we try accessing our McDonald’s accounts, and it’s frustrating. (Written 12-23-25)“

“I moved away from the area and was visiting. I needed to get my daily cup of coffee so I searched where I could get a good cup of coffee. Summer Moon came up with a 4.8 rating, so I tried it. I just bought a medium house blend and added my own Nutpods half and half. It was SO delicious! It was good and strong and very flavorful. The barista said it was a medium, but it's more like a medium/dark, which I like. I was sitting in my car drinking it, but before I left, I went back in with my travel mug and got another coffee for the road! This was the best coffee I've had from a coffee shop in a long time. I was also pleased that they also had a variety of gluten free bakery items from a local bakery. Not many places have this. When I'm in town again, I'll be back!“

“Excellent treats, stunning buildout, and great service. An overall great experience. Seeing the restaurant from the street, you will not expect what you are about to experience upon entering. It's a bright, open, well-appointed, beautiful space, with vintage wood floors, and a massive mural of Frida Kahlo that occupies the entire wall. These downtown vintage buildings have high ceiling heights, further emphasizing the eye-catching mural. Not only is it a beautiful and inviting space with the aroma of coffee and sweets lingering in the air, but you are also invited to watch the churro-making process with the kitchen open for viewing by patrons (separated by glass). We shared a regular churro and a fruity churro split. Delicious! And the staff and owner are friendly and graciously take time to answer menu questions. Nestled in between two other incredible restaurants, Kubo Sushi and Sake Lounge, and El Patio, this is a nice compliment to restaurant row in downtown Elgin. Save room for dessert!“

“This place is the best!! They truly have great coffee they care about the quality of their beans and where they come from, they roast their own beans and home-make their syrups!!! The best syrups ever!! Lattes sometimes tend to be on the sweeter side so I would be aware of that and it’s more pricier than other places but with the quality of the coffee and ALWAYS great service it is more than worth it!!“
