“I went here for the first time today and absolutely loved it! The shop is so cute and cozy. It’s such a calm atmosphere and not overly crowded and busy for a Saturday morning either. The bakery treats were seriously incredibly. So soft, moist, decadent, flavorful, and overall fantastic! I had the best blueberry oat bar and muffin for ever had today! Seriously. They had a ton of vegan options! They were so accommodating to vegans with their options and the staff was very knowledgeable about the options. The barista was incredibly kind, outgoing, and helped my friend and I decide on the vegan treats we wanted. She also ensured we ordered the right drink to fit our needs. She was absolutely amazing! I will definitely be coming here again! Absolutely recommend this adorable shop!“

“I love coffee but I don't love paying ridiculous prices for it- I even think Starbucks is overpriced. This place charged extra for everything including getting your coffee iced! I paid $20 for 2 coffees, which is practically highway robbery. Luckily for them, I was in such a hurry that I didn't pay attention to anything but grabbing my drinks and going. “A must go-to for coffee/café connissures. The Seventh Heaven latte is the perfect balance of sweet flavors without going overboard on the sugar. I paired my latte with the Amarillo Chipotle sandwich. An absolutely delicious spicy twist on the classic bacon, egg, and cheese. Jesse helped me decide on the order and I'm so glad he did. The staff were kind, professional, and most importantly know what they are doing with their food and drinks. 10/10“

“They have the best Birthday cake that I’ve even had in this area. Very creamy and fresh, not too sweet. The cake was beautiful like a wedding cake, and it was very tasty, lots of strawberries in the layers. It definitely brought more joy to my daughter’s birthday party. “I was told about this new bakery by a friend so I decided to investigate. I was so pleased with all the goods I bought from donuts to danishes to kolacky to bread. So delicious, packaged beautifully and the staff member that attended to me was very knowledgeable about all the items. She was kind enough to share with me her favorites and because of her seeming integrity, knowledge and friendliness, I bought her recommendation. A great addition to Elgin and bakeries.“

“Four cars were in the drive-up, so we went inside to get the Halloween Munchkins Bucket on Sunday. Two people were in line. Only one young girl (Gracie) was working, but she was efficiently going back and forth between waiting on the drive-thru and the inside customers with a great attitude, no less. She apologized and said getting our bucket might take a few minutes because she was the only one working. We had no problem waiting and understood her situation. But we got the bucket quickly because she was very organized. She deserves a raise or bonus for doing that all on her own. Where was the manager? Poor girl should not have had to manage that all on her own.“

“I had picked up a mobile order this morning and Megan K was so super helpful! She help fix my order and brought my croissant out to my car. She did not have to do that! She went above and beyond! Jace is also great! I see him most mornings and he takes my order. He's so nice and always has a great attitude and asks me how my day is going. Such a great team there!! ❤️“

“I pretty much come here daily because it's close, and i'm so grateful that i'm close to a good location! The staff is always friendly, the line always moves fast. It's a small Drive thru so sometimes you worry the line is long, but the staff moves it so quickly! I'd say about 90% of the time the staff is super friendly and calls me by name and is kind and personable. My order is almost never wrong, and one time it was, they fixed it immediately and even offered me the incorrectly made beverage for a friend.“

“I like your coffee. And it is the nearest Starbucks to my job. Before job I wanted to buy cappuccino, came 20 min to 7:00 pm. Barista said with machine done can make espresso and any hot drinks. It is easy to wash the pitcher and steamer. I went out without coffee.“

Located unassumingly in the back of an office park. Charming space dedicated purely to making good coffee. Go here over the chains in the area.“

“This is by far the best Starbucks in the area bar none . Everyone from the top management to the baristas are kind, friendly, caring and efficient. I’ve never had an attitude from any of them no matter how complicated my beverage order is. They keep the place clean and safe also. Unfortunately, the Starbucks in Algonquin by the movie theater, and also the one on Randall by Kohl’s has some of the rudest employees. In fact, the one by Kohl’s mopped the floors without squeezing out the mop and there were large puddles of soapy water all over, and I almost fell, even though I was walking extremely slowly. Putting a sign down does not excuse them from liability, but they didn’t seem to care at all about me, or anyone for that matter , and when I expressed my concern that someone can fall, they just rolled their eyes up at me. I am grateful that the Starbucks closest to my home on Algonquin Road and Ryan is Friendly professional and efficient unlike the other ones.“

Always a friendly greeting waiting for me, which is very welcome in this world where being greeted is more and more rare.Even when I order online, I still feel like they care about me as a customer.My favorite food is the dbl bacon breakfast sandwich and the banana nut bread. One of my favorite drinks is the caramel ribbon crunch frapp.I satisfy my dietary needs by using the phone app to customize my drink (i.e. coconut milk instead of cream or milk, decaf espresso, or other add-ins.) Using the app makes me feel confident that my drink order wasn't misheard and saves me the embarrassment and judgement of rattling off my laundry list of preferences.

“It was pouring rain when I arrived. I didn’t feel like getting out of my car. I went through the drive-through and asked for help with my gift cards and drink order. Jaime was very pleasant and she took my order even though I was going through a drive-through with a request for several gift cards to be prepared. When I got to the window, Daniel asked me what the occasion was for the gift cards so that he could give me the correct gift card for my occasion. He, too, was extremely pleasant and very respectful. I couldn’t be more pleased to go to this Starbucks. These two employees are exceptional, and at this location, they usually are“
