“Excellent treats, stunning buildout, and great service. An overall great experience. Seeing the restaurant from the street, you will not expect what you are about to experience upon entering. It's a bright, open, well-appointed, beautiful space, with vintage wood floors, and a massive mural of Frida Kahlo that occupies the entire wall. These downtown vintage buildings have high ceiling heights, further emphasizing the eye-catching mural. Not only is it a beautiful and inviting space with the aroma of coffee and sweets lingering in the air, but you are also invited to watch the churro-making process with the kitchen open for viewing by patrons (separated by glass). We shared a regular churro and a fruity churro split. Delicious! And the staff and owner are friendly and graciously take time to answer menu questions. Nestled in between two other incredible restaurants, Kubo Sushi and Sake Lounge, and El Patio, this is a nice compliment to restaurant row in downtown Elgin. Save room for dessert!“

“This coffee shop was a 10 out of 10 as the new generation says lol. The coffee drinks were delicious. The coffee was not watery and it was made just perfect. I ordered a iced honey oatmilk latte and a cordaito which is made with whole milk. The employee was so friendly and kind. I adore this place and recommend you stop by, it’s definitely worth it“

“I love getting my morning coffee from Elder + Oat a few times a week. It is a little bit of a haul from my house but totally worth it. Have usually get their monthly seasonal cold brew I have never disliked it. Nicole is the sweetest barista! I highly recommend this cute coffee shop!“
“My husband got a large salted caramel blended and I got vanilla with a shot of caramel large blended drink. The drinks are huge! And so yummy. I think our total was like $16 for the 2. Highly recommend! And they can make you just about anything you want!“

“i had heard about lincoln house in a huntley facebook group & ever since then i knew i had to try it myself. first impression 10/10 it was super chill and had cozy vibes. i tried the pesto caprese & added chicken to it, and also the tropical island smoothie. it was toooo good and i definitely will be coming back!“

“Breakfast Quesadilla was excellent! Fresh salsa was excellent with just a hint of kick. Sam was wonderful and made me a delicious salted caramel fudge latte! Portion was large as usual and I have leftovers for later. Thanks Sam, you made it a wonderful start to my day“
“We recently celebrated our daughter Sofia’s birthday here, and it was a wonderful experience! The playground was clean, safe, and well-maintained, with plenty of activities to keep the children entertained throughout the party.
The staff was friendly, helpful, and made the entire process stress-free. The party area was organized and spacious, and the kids had an amazing time playing and celebrating together.
Thank you for helping make Sofia’s birthday so special. We would definitely recommend this place to other families and look forward to coming back!“

“I have been a regular customer for a long time- the baristas know me by name and know my drink order. Picked up my iced coffee this morning and didn’t realize until I was done drinking my coffee that there was a nice little note on my cup! This definitely made my Monday morning ! “The owner and their staff do such an amazing job here super friendly and welcoming everytime I come in. this business deserves to stay open forever! The ice cream tasted so creamy and delicious and I loved the variety of flavors they offered! They also have Italian ice and vegan options if you are interested! “We love this dunkin' donuts! They always get us through the line quickly and get us our food and drinks accurately. This DD is also light speed ahead of the one in pingree Grove up the street and it's actually faster to drive past the other one and go to this one in order to get our food. By far the most efficient Dunkin in the area“
“Love this place! My husband and daughter and I go almost every weekend. The coffee and food are so good, and it’s such a chill environment that we love spending at least an hour there each time. The staff are so friendly and kind. Yes sometimes there’s a long line during busy hours, but it’s such a nice place that we don’t mind just hanging out while we wait.“

“This is by far the best Starbucks in the area bar none . Everyone from the top management to the baristas are kind, friendly, caring and efficient. I’ve never had an attitude from any of them no matter how complicated my beverage order is. They keep the place clean and safe also. Unfortunately, the Starbucks in Algonquin by the movie theater, and also the one on Randall by Kohl’s has some of the rudest employees. In fact, the one by Kohl’s mopped the floors without squeezing out the mop and there were large puddles of soapy water all over, and I almost fell, even though I was walking extremely slowly. Putting a sign down does not excuse them from liability, but they didn’t seem to care at all about me, or anyone for that matter , and when I expressed my concern that someone can fall, they just rolled their eyes up at me. I am grateful that the Starbucks closest to my home on Algonquin Road and Ryan is Friendly professional and efficient unlike the other ones.“

“I stop at this location pretty regularly and the employees are always polite and cheerful. But I felt inclined to write a review today because I was so charmed by something that happened this morning. A family came in shortly after I had and it was one of the little girl's birthday. The woman behind the register (sorry I didn't catch her name) was so delightful for them, chatting to the birthday girl and even giving the kids a special treat. It put a smile on my face seeing how happy the kids were, sure brightened up this cold, wet, windy day.“
“I like your coffee. And it is the nearest Starbucks to my job. Before job I wanted to buy cappuccino, came 20 min to 7:00 pm. Barista said with machine done can make espresso and any hot drinks. It is easy to wash the pitcher and steamer. I went out without coffee.“

“Staff is rude and insulting. Poorest customer service. Accept no responsibility for their behavior and mistakes. Instead of apologizing for making your drink wrong and requiring you to drive back there, they tell you well it wasn’t like it was on purpose. Then proceeded to lecture you. Amber especially is rude and slams the window shut in your face at the drive-through. Says if we get your drinks so often, go to a different Starbucks. I wasn’t even pissed off until I left after the return .“

“The Dunkin’ Donuts on Randall road is amazing!!! They were so sweet to my dogs and she absolutely loved Clark 💕 they each got a lil vanilla munchkin and she even gave them treats to go! Definitely made my morning a little bit better. I’m really big on customer service, and she was the sweetest. Will definitely be coming back with the boys to see her again🥰. Way to go girl at the drive-through!“

“Went through the drive thru on 10/29 around 6:40 or so and we wanted two vanilla sprinkled donuts and she said ok pull up. We get to the window and she said “we dont have those ones you ordered, so here’s a random assortment hope that’s ok” and she gave them to us and insisted they were free. Thank you Dunkin“
