Coffee Shops near Round Lake

“Very cozy atmosphere and food is really good!“

“My drink order is always simple but yet most Dunkins always seem to get it wrong or barely put any of the vanilla or caramel. Especially when you pay extra for it. This location made it perfectly, thank you!
The place is decently clean just don't put personal drinks in the ice cream area. It's not the most sanitary thing.“

“best coffee shop around :)“

“Delicious coffee with a wide variety of choices. My wife and I got an Oreo ice coffee and an iced honey latte. We will definitely be going back.“

“We LOVE Little Bean! We are treated so well! Every week, our table is promptly reserved for our Bookclub. Our orders are delivered with a smile! Everything and I do mean everything is tasty and delicious! Little Bean has become a staple in our community. We are all better here in Antioch to have this welcoming, warm venue where we can mingle together. Thank you for being here!“

“We’ve visited many times and every time is a good experience. We love to go and let our daughter pick out a cookie as they have many fun characters to choose from. Today they offered free any size drinks for Mom’s on Mother’s Day. How wonderful, what a treat! Thank you 🩷“

“Frank was super accommodating at the last minute for a corporate workshop we hosted. The set-up he provided was beautifully organized for presentation to our guests. Everyone raved about the great, "local" AREA Coffee. It was delicious and piping hot. A new go-to for us; thanks, Frank!“

“I went here for the first time this weekend & it was absolutely delicious, such a relaxing & cozy atmosphere. I can’t wait to go back, it was worth the little drive there!“

“My friend and I stopped in twice today. I had an appointment at the chiropractor next door. We had fancy matcha lattes with spirulina, waffle and chicken fingers - and returned for ice cream. Also fun selection of beef jerky, coffee, pastries and various dog treats.“

“I just went there to have a meeting with a coworker and absolutely loved the service and the atmosphere. The empanada was still frozen when they served it to me but the server was so kind and gentle and immediately gave me another one that was well cooked and didn’t charge me for the wait and inconvenience. I call that consideration and good business practice! Will be back again!!“

“The sweetest team/family, the best cannolis and focaccia bread I’ve ever had 🫶“

“First of all, Simon’s a great host who also loves to make software. We’re here all the time, and our team loves coming to Open Mic to work, be creative, and meet with clients. It’s a comfortable, welcoming space that naturally sparks good conversations and cool ideas—some of our best ideas have come out of brainstorming sessions in this spot. Sometimes we’re heads-down getting work done, sometimes sketching things out, sometimes picking up a guitar or playing a little piano between sprints. Great coffee and tea, a relaxed creative vibe, and always something interesting going on. It’s one of our favorite spots in Lake County, Illinois.“

“CJ:
I stopped in for a simple black coffee once and it was great. It is very modern on the inside and the coffee is expensive for what I got, but good staff and short wait time. The study area has a good view of the road so you can take a short break from your work and enjoy the atmosphere.“

“Gloria Jean’s is by far my favorite coffee chain, even favorite overall in the local area. I’m incredibly happy they’re at Vernon Hills and how consistent their coffee is! Also note, they open at 10am, not 11am - somehow Google Maps is not accepting my update to business hours.“

“Had my daughter’s baby shower cake made here. Julie was so easy to work with and gave me great advice. I had several guests who needed gluten free and Julie and her staff were able to make the whole cake gluten free. It was so delicious that my guests thought it was the best they’ve had. Thanks Whisk Bakery!!“

“I've been coming here since they opened and the drinks are always consistent, lines move quickly. But yesterday I had such a good experience with alex. He was so incredibly sweet and charming. I slhung back for a bit just to chat. Give this man a raise, his customer service skills are banging!“

“The bread is out of this world. My personal favorite is the seeded. The pastries are also very good. What a treasure.“

“Found my favorite childhood snack — egg waffles 🧇 — at MilkCow cafe near home! Definitely coming back again! Their ice cream was amazing too — super creamy and full of milky goodness 🍦💛“

“Best bakery ever.“

“Always a treat to stop by“

“I stop here a couple times a week. I order whatever seasonal cold brew they have at that time, and I’ve noticed some inconsistency in the quality of the drink, entirely depending on who’s working that specific day.

Some days, it’s literally the best coffee I’ve ever had in my life. Other days, it tastes like coffee that sat in melted ice, then poured over more ice and handed out the window. For the price, consistency should be 🔒.

Otherwise, this place is amazing. Great staff, extremely quick and don’t have you sitting for 20 minutes like a Starbucks. I also enjoy the larger sizes most places don’t offer! Flavor concepts for the drinks are always great, too!

Never had food here so I can’t comment on the food, but it does look good!“

“Great staff, the bubble tea is a must have. Try it now if you haven’t done so 😊“

“My 4 year old son loved it here!!! He was so proud to have designed a donut (which was actually just the cookies and cream option from the menu) but he watched them make it and decorate it and then showed it to everyone he passed. He said they were the BEST donuts he’s ever had! I had the cold brew with sweet cream which was solid.“

“Good service! DELICIOUS Cheese Danish... Orgasmic.“

“Bella was the best!! On one of the most busiest days and a holiday, Bella greeted us with a smile and cheerful attitude. I hope everyone tipped because they worked their tails off making sure everyone was taken care of. Go see Bella!! We will!“

“Me gusta mucho este lugar y lo mejor que esta cerca de donde vivo y muy buen servicio …😊☕️“

“Delicious boba tea! I had the Coconut milk tea with boba and my husband had the mango fruit with boba. This was our first time here! It was busy when we walked in with lines for those wanting to get there bubble / boba tea. There was a great menu of options to choose from and a nice sitting area to relax, and enjoy the drinks. Staff were quick and busy filling in the orders that were coming in. This is located in Chinatown near the Chinatown square. Great spot and delicious boba teas! We will definitely come back when we visit this area again!“

“ABSruCKS. & lettin every body know it too.“

“If I could Julie 10 stars I would. She is an EXCELLENT barista. She was so polite and very helpful when it came to choosing the tumbler for one of my twin girl. Don’t worry, the other twin already got one. Julie went over and beyond and was very professional. She definitely knows her store. All the staff at this location are so friendly; great experience overall and would definitely come back! Great hire manager. definitely deserve a raise.“

“The staff is very friendly and efficient. The coffee is delicious. I just got my usual, a tall latte.

Vegetarian options: Coffee is Vegan!?

Dietary restrictions: I am gluten free.Everything is clearly marked with ingredients. Any questions the staff is happy to answer.

Parking: It's a well maintained Target parking lot.

Kid-friendliness: The staff is kind to all the guests.

Wheelchair accessibility: It's in Target. Totally wheel chair accessible.“

“Got my decaf order correct, was incredibly quick, and the avocado toast was very fresh and warm! Worker at the window remembered us as regulars and we were very happy to see her, glad she's still working here! Great service, always get what we asked for.“

“I've been here three times in the past year and have been wowed each time. The employees are always nice and accommodating. The food is perfect each time, the bathrooms and restaurant itself are very clean, and the space is welcoming! That's saying a lot from someone who worked in a lot of restaurants over the years and can easily spot issues. Bagels are chewy, thaw nicely after being in my freezer for a bit, and make excellent sandwiches. Thank you for the Windex and cleaning up my water bottle catastrophe ;)“

“Me and my aunt got here at 6;46pm they close at 7pm, angie was reaññy nice and made our drinks, after she had been done cleaning the machines. Which was really really nice of her to do! We know it is a struggle when you are working alone and already had washed the machines BUT she made it work for us!Thank you angie! ?“

“Thank you to our new Starbucks in Mundelein! I have visited this location three times now via the drive through. By far the friendliest and best customer service I have ever received at a Starbucks! Kuddos to your drive through staff for their amazing service with a smile and great energy. This location will be my go to going forward.“

“This Starbucks location has some of the kindest and considerate workers. They are always happy to remake a drink or ask me in advance if something has too much cream in it. I have been told by the Volo location that “maybe they’re not the right coffee house” when I finally brought up the barista who always makes the drinks with a lack of effort and how there is often attitude and confusion when a drink is asked to be made with less cream. I will continue to go out of my way to go to Lakemoor location!“

“great customer service !!“

“Not normally a big Starbucks fan, but just had one of the best experiences at a Starbucks ever. I got an Iced Pumpkin Chai and a Spinach, Feta and Egg white wrap. The delicious food was the least wonderful part of my experience. The baristas were all exceptionally kind and generous, bringing us iced water without asking and being very welcoming to us. I stayed there for a bit to work and wait for a different appointment, and it was the exact environment I needed to start my day off well!“

“Always perfect coffee. Fresh, never stale. The staff, especially Chello is the best.“

“Nice, well kept interior. Nice wood. Some good comfortable seats.“

“Something new in the Mall food court! Staff is so friendly and talkative, love them! They have truly great selection of unordinary pizzas. You have to try ordering from the menu! Ready slices are good, but freshly made mouthwatering pizza is so much better. I tried pear pizza, was very impressive, chef's creation, but my best favorite is vegetarian pizza. Will be back soon. 👌“

“Exceptional service with a smile. I’ve worked customer service for a very long time and Beatrice is a top tier employee. She’s working harder and faster by herself than my usual Starbucks fully staffed. It’s super busy and she is professional, friendly, giving recommendations while making delicious drinks efficiently. If I could leave 10 stars I would.“

“They are so friendly! They always know what I am trying to order by my description when I can't remember the name of what I had somewhere else. Also, they add on the little things I ask for, extra carmel topper or whip, without up charge. This Starbucks is by far been worth driving to than any other on surrounding areas. They don't skip on the taste, NO watering down like other ones I been to! Very happy! ?“

“Went to DD in volo only to realize my wallet is on my counter at home!!!! They were so nice and gave me receipt and said pay later and enjoy your coffee. THANK YOU DD“

“Garrett kelly and Lindsey great people know my order just by my car love them and this location ❤❤“

“Always a treat to stop by“

“Love this place! Great coffee ☕️“

“Our favorite Dunkin’ around! They say all Dunkin’ drinks are the same, but this Dunkin’ is by far the best and they always get it right! It’s also a great way to get the kids out of the house for school quickly!! 😂 🍩“

“Friendly staff and fast service. Gotta love that!“

“We are so grateful for the wonderful donation of cinnabon bites from the Vernon Hills Cinnabon store.
They were so fresh and delicious and our teaching staff was over the moon with excitement when they came in for breakfast.
The service picking them up was outstanding and the order was ready right on time.
Thank you for making the Vernon Hills High School staff very happy:)

Robin, Suzanne and Nora from Vernon Hills High School“
