“The Tala in Libertyville is also where Tala roasts its coffee. It's a cute little spot. The coffee is always delicious and high quality. I like that this location has muffins in addition to donuts. The zucchini chocolate chip muffins are amazing. The staff is friendly.“

“The Little Bean Coffee Company: My Wife and I came here for lunch while visiting my Son. He wanted to treat us to something local and we decided to come here. Neither of us had ever been here and really didn't know what to expect.
We were pleasantly surprised.
I had the Signature Grilled Cheese Sandwich and chips. The sandwich had at least 3 different cheeses including a Gouda cheese. It was delicious. I also enjoyed their Carmel Coffee.
My wife and son had burritos: A breakfast one for my son and the Vegan for my wife. They enjoyed them and rated them Very Good!
The service was very good. The atmosphere was different than I'm used to. The tables and chairs were all different. Some were big for larger groups. Some small. There were different rooms you could eat in if you wanted a quieter environment.

“I just went there to have a meeting with a coworker and absolutely loved the service and the atmosphere. The empanada was still frozen when they served it to me but the server was so kind and gentle and immediately gave me another one that was well cooked and didn’t charge me for the wait and inconvenience. Our server was super friendly, the kitchen was backed up a little but she made sure to check in frequently and keep us updated. Super cute inside too, definitely recommend for easy breakfast!“

My 6 year old Grandson and I spent 2.5 hours there today (rainy morning thwarted all holiday plans), .. of which a full hour was spent just talking and hanging with Maria. I know it was an unusually slow day (holiday / rain, etc), .. and this is not a customary thing. And I usually don't have such time either. But that's part of the sweetness .. walking into a place a little slower, more simple, ... and where genuine kindness (especially to the Kiddos) matters! The other Staff is also nice. “Such a fantastic little spot on the downtown antioch strip. The espresso I had was absolutely delicious and rich! The owner was very friendly and accommodating. There were some people doing open mic, guitar and drums. Very cool place to hang with friends and let the creative spirits flow! They even roast their own beans! I brought some home. ?“

He was so proud to have designed a donut (which was actually just the cookies and cream option from the menu) but he watched them make it and decorate it and then showed it to everyone he passed. It was busy when we walked in with lines for those wanting to get there bubble / boba tea. There was a great menu of options to choose from and a nice sitting area to relax, and enjoy the drinks. Staff were quick and busy filling in the orders that were coming in. This is located in Chinatown near the Chinatown square. Great spot and delicious boba teas! My wedding was scheduled for August 8,2020. But due to Covid-19, we unfortunately had to cancel. Janice was extremely compassionate, understanding and flexible during the whole process. Sweet Home Gelato was the most compassionate and flexible vendor. It is not easy to cancel a wedding, unfortunately many vendors were not as accommodating. Janice immediately offered a refund, date change or gift card for the deposit. Sweet Home Gelato was under no circumstance required to issue a refund. “When this location first opened it took over 20 minutes to get a drink and then it was made wrong. I was the only person there so it wasn't a long line issue. I have been there more recently and they are up to speed, making drinks correctly, the interior is always clean and organized, staff is friendly.“

I placed the drink inside the cup holder and began to drive. I decided to stop by the Starbucks at the Zion location to pay for the missing ingredient that the Starbucks at the North Chicago location ran out of. I explained the whole situation at the drive-thru and showed them the digital receipt on the app. To make the story short, the baristas at the Zion location were super kinda and understood what happened and gladly made me a brand new refresher the way it's supposed to be at no additional cost!!“

“The donuts are fantastic but the place itself is gross. The floor is sticky and looks like it hasn't been swept or mopped in days. No napkins available and when we asked the staff said their boss hadn't ordered any paper goods or cleaning supplies in a while. The bathroom didn't have toilet paper, soap or paper towels either and was disgusting. I wonder if they even have soap in the kitchen to wash their hands. I don't think it's dramatic to say the health department should probably be called.“

“The drive thru barista Danielle was so awesome the other day. I ordered a cold brew and as I drove away and picked it up the lid popped off and spilled. I went back to the drive thru to ask for napkins to clean it up since I didn’t have any in my car. I also had three small kids with me so couldn’t go into the store to get napkins. She not only provided napkins but made me a new cold brew! Such great customer service and so unexpected.“

I do have one concerned and that is the amount of wasps found on the floor. I counted 7 dead ones and one flying around the donuts :/ there could be a nest near by and should be brought to the building's owner attention.“
