“Met Alex the manager today (night shift), I didn’t catch his last name unfortunately but saw him working really hard helping his co-workers and being on top of everything that was going on. Great attitude and commitment, He is an excellent leader someone that sets the example for everyone!!! People like him are very few. I had a few words with him and immediately recognized what a great person with an amazing work ethic and professionalism is and very proud of his work place. MCD’s I truly believe you have someone there that can and will make a big difference overall, and I will definitely without a doubt mentor him and give him the tools to become a great leader for your organization!Keep it up Alex great job!!!!“

“Friendly staff!I ordered a decaf coffee and was told to wait for a couple minutes. They were brewing a new batch. Though the wait was only for a minute, they gave me two chocolate donuts along with my coffee. Such a nice gesture. The coffee was good and so were the donuts. Thank you guys!“

“Best Bakery ever. Their products are delicious and made with care and a lot of know-how. They use locally sourced wonderful flour (I use the same at home). Staff is wonderful as well. I visit them from out of state on a regular basis because they are better than anything I have found anywhere else.Even though fresh is the best, I can also freeze a loaf and it is still great after being defrosted.Their croissants are out of this world.“

“We were staying in the area and looking for a breakfast spot. It is important to know that this place has a table or two, but not an eat in restaurant. We grabbed a half dozen of the freshest, fluffy doughnuts-ube, cream-filled, jelly-filled, chocolate and strawberry iced and a blueberry. We couldn't try them all, but we made a dent, taking it all back to our hotel to enjoy.“

“This place is hands down the best coffee shop in the area. The staff is super friendly, the drinks are so delicious, and the food is on point. I really enjoy all of it. It's become a daily staple for me to get my coffee fix. Typically I'll get their seasonal drinks and/or their custom made breakfast sandwich. You won't be disappointed.“

“You walk in to tastefully but simply decorated dining experience. Add to that a very pleasant young lady with her sweet Cuban accent welcomes you.I had garlic chicken, my son had the rib sandwich. Both were great. May be a bit more chicken in the sandwich would have put over the top. “Tala Coffee Roasters was an excellent choice to find quality espresso, a fun but professional atmosphere, and knowledgeable staff who care about producing great results. The espresso was well balanced with amazing texture and the milk-based vanilla latte was just as good. It was a welcomed treat finding delicious old fashioned donuts and other pastries at the counter.If you are looking for whole bean coffee, these folks have what you’re looking for. Their labels provide you plenty of information about the coffee that is in the bag and most importantly; the bag has a roasted on date! This is something that a lot of roasters forget, but if you like to geek out over coffee, it is important to know just how fresh your beans are in order to get the best results from your coffee.“

“Pros: Donuts made fresh to order, so you get them warm! Many varieties to choose from.Cons: Their donuts are on the cake-y side. Not my cup of tea. And they don't have filled donuts like Boston creams. We got there around 2pm when the place was empty. Service was prompt (duh) but I wouldn't call it warm.Since I prefer raised or filled donuts, I probably won't be coming back.“

“I loved the Spring Thaw so much I went 3x in one week to get it. I also bought the Southern Belle loose leaf tea for myself and a friend. I'm going to make my own orange simple syrup at home to recreate myself since I don't live close. Happy I found this drink.“

“Wonderful little local coffee shop. I stopped in here while my daughter was at a nearby volleyball tournament. Just what I had hoped to find. Coffee, service, comfort and atmosphere were all just right. I wish we had a place just like this in my hometown of Wheaton. I look forward to returning.“

If that doesn’t say it’s a good choice, then keep reading.The skillets are made to perfection with crispy hash browns (which I usually skip) with the tender choice of meat and grilled veggies. The Farmer’s Daughter French Toast is one of the most delicious French Toasts I’ve ever had, it’s a perfect breakfast/dessert when you really just want to eat something delicious.Now the drinks: Their black plain coffee is smooth and tasty even without sugar. I love the lavender latte, foamy and served with a cute design, all perfect for a rainy day. If you like high quality tea, then this is the place to go get one.Most importantly the service is always friendly and the atmosphere is friendly for all ages.“

“Wonderful location in Libertyville with an engaging and friendly staff. They take the time to get your order right, and I was very impressed with the Barista skills. “Dalton's makes some of the best gluten free desserts I've ever had. I ask for their lemon bars for every birthday! They are so accommodating to all allergies and intolerances as well. I've tried a lot of their pastries and there hasn't been one I don't love. I got my first real paczki in 14 years there and it was amazing!! The owners are the kindest, funniest, most welcoming people ever. You don't even have to be gluten free to love their products! They're incredible!“

“I’ll start with the positives! It’s great to have a store—let alone a bubble tea spot—open as late as 11 PM in the suburbs. The interior is very cute and the menu has a nice variety.My sister and I ordered the mango smoothie and green matcha milk tea. The mango smoothie was good, but it tasted more like durian than mango. The green matcha milk tea was just tapioca and sweet water ? which would be somewhat acceptable if not for the menu picture, which advertises a very different drink. It may be on us for ordering a less popular item, though..“

“I'm not really a coffee person, but the coffee was actually delicious. I had an ice caramel latte. The only bad thing I have to say about this place is the wait time for your food. We ordered 2 sandwiches and we waited about 20 minutes for them. Aside from that, everything tasted great, and the employees were nice. It was not overcrowded. It was just the wait time“

“Super cute coffee shop! Their menu is extensive and includes so many different things, including breakfast. Their bakery is huge and has a ton of baked goods, from muffins to scones and cookies.I got their Baja beef labretti with some veggies and hummus, which was super yummy. Their chai latte is also delicious.It does get quite crowded. I went on a Wednesday at lunch time and the line was through the door. I'd recommend going earlier or around 1-2pm to skip the rush.“

“This is a cute little gelato shop right in the heart of downtown Libertyville! They have a nice selection of gelato, that seems to be made fresh there. It's not the best I've had, but definitely still recommend! The staff there has always been super nice as well.“

“OMG we found an actual donut shop! Since moving to Wisconsin from Cali, we have so missed corner donut shops. All we have in our area is the trash donuts from Grocery Stores, Kwik Trip, or Dunkin. “I walked into this Starbucks at 6:45 am Wednesday morning to order 15 drinks. When I approached the counter and told the cashier I needed to order 15 beverages, she was so cheerful and stated she was ready. Once I went through all the orders, I had her repeat everything back to me. After I paid and stepped to the side, I noted that half of my drinks were already completed! I was so grateful! The staff at this location are so nice and cheerful, EVEN FOR 7 AM!! I will be returning!***All the drinks were made correctly, none were missing, and they all tasted good. They greet every customer right away and they prepare your order quickly. I look forward to my next visit.Expect your coffee to be handed to you exactly the way you ordered it with a thank you and a smile.The only slight trouble with this shop is getting in and out of the parking lot. Some tight corners get rough when they are busy.“

“Today I was so excited to try the Buttermilk Donut. The cashier was so sweet and told me it was one of her favorites. I get home and notice she put two donuts in the bag instead of one. Literally made my day, just as great as she said! Wish I had her name but she had a lip piercing and was overall so cheerful and happy. Love seeing people who genuinely enjoy their job it just makes going somewhere that much more of an amazing experience!“

“Went to a different location today as I was traveling a different route. Bagel was delicious (multi grain), my iced coffee was very strong, had them add more milk. The place is very dark compared to other locations, needs brightening up! Service was excellent, would go back.“
