“Interesting coffee shop. It looks kinda like an office building from the outside, and it's tucked away on what feels like an industrial backstreet. The service was quick and friendly. I got a Tangerine Ginger tea, and as described, it was tangy and sweet. My friend got some kind of coffee, but she was disappointed with how sweet it was. I believe I also got an apple fritter, and it was flavorful and sweet, as I'd hoped. There was plenty of seating inside, as well as some picnic tables outside (though at the time, the insects were out in full force).“

I came today and explained an issue yesterday and although I was understandably upset, I didn’t make a huge fuss about it because I visit this location often. What I really appreciate is that she went out of her way to make things right even though she wasn’t even working at the time the issue happened. That really showed me that she genuinely cared about my experience as a customer. “Delicious boba tea! I had the Coconut milk tea with boba and my husband had the mango fruit with boba. This was our first time here! It was busy when we walked in with lines for those wanting to get there bubble / boba tea. There was a great menu of options to choose from and a nice sitting area to relax, and enjoy the drinks. Staff were quick and busy filling in the orders that were coming in. This is located in Chinatown near the Chinatown square. Great spot and delicious boba teas! We will definitely come back when we visit this area again!“

“If I could Julie 10 stars I would. She is an EXCELLENT barista. She was so polite and very helpful when it came to choosing the tumbler for one of my twin girl. Don’t worry, the other twin already got one. Julie went over and beyond and was very professional. She definitely knows her store. “I've been here three times in the past year and have been wowed each time. The employees are always nice and accommodating. The food is perfect each time, the bathrooms and restaurant itself are very clean, and the space is welcoming! That's saying a lot from someone who worked in a lot of restaurants over the years and can easily spot issues. Bagels are chewy, thaw nicely after being in my freezer for a bit, and make excellent sandwiches. Thank you for the Windex and cleaning up my water bottle catastrophe ;)“

“This Starbucks location has some of the kindest and considerate workers. They are always happy to remake a drink or ask me in advance if something has too much cream in it. I have been told by the Volo location that “maybe they’re not the right coffee house” when I finally brought up the barista who always makes the drinks with a lack of effort and how there is often attitude and confusion when a drink is asked to be made with less cream. I will continue to go out of my way to go to Lakemoor location!“

“What a positive experience I had at the Lake Bluff Starbucks. I went for a 30 minute coffee to check my emails, and was so pleasantly surprised when the barista asked if I wanted a ceramic mug for my coffee. She even offered to bring it to my table. When she brought it, she mentioned they offer a free refill. Then, another barista came around with a free sample of one of their ice coffees. What a very pleasant experience. Thank you, Starbucks!“

The delicious food was the least wonderful part of my experience. The baristas were all exceptionally kind and generous, bringing us iced water without asking and being very welcoming to us. I stayed there for a bit to work and wait for a different appointment, and it was the exact environment I needed to start my day off well!“

“They are so friendly! They always know what I am trying to order by my description when I can't remember the name of what I had somewhere else. Also, they add on the little things I ask for, extra carmel topper or whip, without up charge. This Starbucks is by far been worth driving to than any other on surrounding areas. They don't skip on the taste, NO watering down like other ones I been to! Very happy! ?“
