“This is a cool spot in Highwood. Nothing really stands out as exceptional, but everything was pretty good.I got the rueban sandwich because we were there on St Patrick's Day. It was ok. The plain French fries were very average, but the truffle fries were much better.The calamari was good, but the other appetizers were not so much. The goat cheese was bland and the crab cakes were small and mushy.I had an alcohol free cocktail and it was good, but not $9 good.The cheeseburger and chicken sandwich were both loved by our dining partners.The service was pretty slow, but I'm sure they were under staffed since it was a holiday weekend.“
“This restaurant was absolutely amazing! It is the definition of a hole in the wall. Service was amazing. As the picture shows they even made up a a drink just for us then wrote down the recipe. The was soup Chicken Enchilada was delicious. My wife hates clack beans and she still likes the soup. She got the fajita chicken wrap. That was really good! She put the whole thing away! I got the veggie burger with Gouda cheese with a huge amount of mushrooms piled on (I paid extra for them) I they came curly with fries or regular fries. The curly fries were just like Arby’s, which is a huge compliment from me. This place is highly recommended!!Dietary restrictions: They went out of their to accommodate my genetic for limitations.Kid-friendliness: This place is a bar. It really isn’t for kids.“
“My husband and I have waited 6 months to get to this place. We LOVED the food. Bottled beers and mixed drinks as well as fountain drinks and water. This place is new and very clean. “We had excellent meals and drinks, and our server, Katie, was very helpful, attentive, and fun! The staff switched the TV nearest us to the NCAA women's basketball semifinal game when I asked upon arrival, and Katie later put it on the biggest screen for us without a request. “Pizza was horrible! Undercooked top with a burnt prepackaged bottom. Apps were cold and just not good( dried out and just low end) Drinks were top notch and our server was incredible! Love going here but the kitchen lacks the luster the bar has. It's unfortunate as a few years ago it was consistently good but now not much.“

Our server Maria was so friendly and welcoming.We started off with the cheese curds and the morning after is a must try appetizer. The truffle burger was delish and the salmon with the fingerling potaoes were amazzzing. Ace guava and frozen tundra are the beers we tried and they also did not disappoint.“
“Came here on a Sunday night after work. This was my first time coming here. I like the vibe from this place. A great place to just chill with friends and have a drink. We ended up sitting at the bar and the bartender was very attentive. We ended up ordering drinks and a couple of appetizers. We ordered the hot honey chicken sliders, pub sliders and boneless wings. Everything was so delicious. Our favorite was the hot honey chicken sliders. They also had golf simulators in the restaurant which we'll try the next time.“
“A bit disappointing. Went to the new location, across the street from the old. At the new location, the burgers were good, but not great like the old place. Something changed - they are now double stack - but just didn't have something which made the old ones great. The place was pretty empty - it was Sunday night - but the TVs were extra loud. More than a bit distracting. Also, I "upgraded" to the loaded tots for $3 and the server brought them out separate and charged $9 as a (small) appetizer. Probably just a communication issue. Lesson learned. Can no longer highly recommend this place.“
“Fantastic, old school spot for a fabulous meal. I've been going here since I was a kid and nothing has changed. They have a warm and comfy dining room on one side with tables and big deep booths, and on the other side is a lively 360° oval bar with booths and tables around the perimeter, great bartenders, and you can get full meal service at the bar with a full place setting. Prices are reasonable, the food is all good / consistent, they make a wonderful hamburger on dark rye, ribs are amazing, and it's kid friendly!“
“I've been looking for a reasonably priced, fresh fish fry in my area for a while and I stumbled on the Irish Mill pub. The fish fry is only available Wednesday evening through Saturday, or until their weekly load of fresh cod runs out. Since the fish is never frozen and they make their own beer batter, it is 1,000 times better than every other bar where they just fry up some dried up frozen cod strips. This place is highly recommended.“
“Today was my first day to visit.The customer service or the waiter was amazing. As far as taste really good. So far I tried there burger, cheese sticks and Buffalo wings. It tasted amazing plus they darts and games. I was pretty impressed. Im definitely coming back I have to try there pizza.“
