“Limited menu done right. Portions are small but prepared with care. Always consistent. Shy away from the calamari friti. I’ve had it a few times and hoped it would get better . Barely any shrimp the “ piece. Contained are small and few as is the actual squid. Loaded with veggies instead. Not a value or good choice! The twin medallions of beef are delicious but not substantial. The white fish is the best dish on the mine!“

“Every time we come here is a great experience. The food is amazing, service is friendly, and the atmosphere is great for a date night or a night out with friends. The owner always makes it a point to come out and greet all the customers, truly just a warm and inviting experience. The food is homemade and fresh, and it does not taste or feel like so many corporate chain restaurants. I recently had the Panini Con Salccicia sandwich and it was to die for! “Food and service fantastic. They were running behind with reservations but they comped us drinks an an appetizer...which is pretty unheard of these days. Rachel, our server, was phenomenal, I liked her so much I even asked her to help me "customize" my pasta dish, which she happily did (and it turned out great! The lobster diavolo but with vodka sauce...keeping the spice level.) Caesar salad good but not traditional...and missing anchovies (I know, I'm weird. Very fresh ingredients though.) We were a party of 6 and everyone loved their food. Reasonable prices too. Will definitely be back! Only wish it weren't so cramped inside.“

“My husband and I had our 1st meal inside the restaurant. We’d dined on the patio several times. We loved the ambiance inside. We began with the burrata appetizer-outstanding. “Excellent food, was here for the first time. Had to taste everything: Italian sub, Sicilian pizza, cream of celery soup, and chopped salad. Everything was excellent. Can’t wait to go back and try more. The Sicilian pizza had a light crust and delicious sauce with sausage and roasted peppers, Yum! Very clean and friendly staff too.“

“It’s a nice place to eat. Unfortunately there was a party of 10 celebrating a birthday. They was very loud and obnoxious. Couldn’t really enjoy the atmosphere. Staff didn’t tell them to lower their voices. Maybe they need a special room away from the front so that other paying customers can enjoy their meals and conversations.“

“Recently celebrated a 70th birthday with the D'Alexander family. What a great event. The staff could not have been nicer, and attentive. You only thought you might need something at the table and it would appear out of no where. The food was all home made and you could tell made from traditional old recipes and a lot of love thrown in. You feel like you are in a small cafe in Italy. If you want a great Italian dining experience please take the time to enjoy Made In Italy, because my wife and I plan to go back.“

“I had an issue with gift cards from December that Jesus worked through with me. It couldn't be resolved without help through the app so he comped my dinner for the hassle. Buona has always been our family's go to beef place and service like this is way above and beyond. My favorite beef in all of Chicagoland.“

“Rosario’s is one of those local spots that just never disappoints. We started with the arancini, which were so good; crispy, flavorful, and honestly, I just wish there had been more of them.

For drinks, I had a glass of wine while my partner ordered the smoked Manhattan, which was such a fun experience with the smoker presentation. It tasted very similar to an Old Fashioned, but still really enjoyable.

For dinner, I ordered the mostaccioli with arrabbiata sauce (and I love that they actually call it mostaccioli instead of penne). The sauce had a great kick to it and was packed with flavor; definitely a standout. My partner got the chicken piccata, which was also really well done.

We also couldn’t leave without ordering a small Chicago stuffed sausage pizza. We’ve been here before just for this, and it’s consistently incredible. As people who have literally done a Chicago pizza tour twice, we both agree this pizza holds its own against some of the most well-known spots. The cheese is rich, the sauce has a nice spice, and everything just works.

On top of all that, the staff is always friendly and welcoming. We absolutely love having a place like this in the neighborhood.“

“My husband and I owned a mobile Hot Dog Stand I ran it in Northwest Indiana. I sold Bari Beef Sandwiches. I was famous for my Beef sandwiches . I have and will always swear by Bari Beef!!!! We have moved all over the country the last 9 years and just moved to Bartlett Illinois. I just found out I live only 9.8 miles from Bari factory store …… I think I have died and gone to Heaven!!!
