“On a very hot and busy evening, we took the only seats available, outside- the outdoor seating happens to be a beautiful sun room with a nice view. We came in mid dinner rush on a Friday evening and this place was PACKED, so naturally it was a little busy, and the kitchen had a nightmare on their hands to work through. That being said, the food came out a little slow, and without any sort of prompting, or anything, one of the owners (a VERY nice lady) came out and apologized for the wait, then comped our appetizer for coming out after the entrees, and to top it off she threw in a free dessert for the "trouble" which as far as we were concerned wasn't any trouble at all. The product itself was well worth the wait. I personally NEVER finish my entrees at restaurants, and I absolutely destroyed the Caribbean Burger I ordered. SO worth the wait. Portions are great, food quality was awesome, the entire staff was friendly, despite it being so busy and so hot, the whole experience was awesome from walking in, to closing out. 20/10, would absolutely come here again and would recommend this place to anyone who loves a good Midwestern meal with a great atmosphere.“

“First time dining here and we will definitely be back! The service was top notch! We were seated right away. I went to use the restroom real quick and by the time I got back, our drinks were already on the table! Food was delicious and Kyle our server was very personable and attentive! He was on top of everything! The owner also spent time getting to know us. We were given a round of drinks on the house and also offered dessert as well! “If you want a romantic date night, this isn't it. But if you want some of the best pizza in Illinois, huge burgers, great prices and friendly staff then give them a shot. You will never regret getting a pizza here I can promise you that. Been around forever, picnic tables outside by the Fox River and a great spot to relax along nw hwy. Love the Dead End“

“We were in the area after visiting the Trading Post, we noticed the sign for fish fry on Fridays, stopped in around 1pm and was warmly greeted by the bartender, a lot of regulars were inside but she did not ignore us and took our drink and then our fish order. Food came quickly and was delicious! I had the fish tacos. We really felt welcomed and we were satisfied with the whole experience.“

However, was told no dogs allowed and had to bring mine home even though I see them all the time up there in the summer (outside) and there are 4 dogs outside now. I can see not allowing them in the wooden patio but on the grass? Then to pick and choose who can or can’t? Despite this, I would recommend and have.“

I had the sweet teriyaki My friend had the garlic parmesan wings we also ordered a pizza however the pizza was okay The cheese was rubbery, I would have liked to have brought these issues to my server however she was kind of in hiding, my server was very slow and that's usually not the case there..
