“Just picked a random restaurant while moving our college kid into his apartment. Had no idea but the food was fantastic and Rhonda our server was fabulous!!! We are all looking forward to the next time we are in town and my college kid can’t wait to bring friends!“

“Went to Chick and Pig for our first dinner last night. The atmosphere reminded me of one of our favorite BBQ restaurants in another state. You can order your selections online, at the counter or at the bar. The menu has a wide variety of BBQ meats and side dishes. We ordered the smoked pulled chicken, loaded fries and mac and cheese. All were outstanding. Incredibly flavorful, excellent portion sizes and prices that are the best in the area. The self service style is a plus for our dining experience. I enjoy spending my money on the food and drinks versus supplementing underpaid servers at full service restaurants.“

“Oh my gosh. I’ve been a customer at offsides for years and I just have to leave a much delayed review. Service is always amazing and consistent.
I’ve ate off there menu many many times and was always impressed with the small exquisite touches to their different sauces and different cooking methods and today I ate their ribs for the first time which are featured on Saturdays as the Saturday special slow cooked ribs that are accompanied with either a soup or salad a choice of fries which are potato wedges or tater tots and the ribs are offered with their amazing barbecue sauce or their Jack Daniels sauce today I had their barbecue sauce and let me tell you hints of honey and molasses with touches of brown sugar. That’ll make you think that you’re in a place that deserves an award-winning slow cooked rib off of some type of competition absolutely amazing completely 100% recommend the one and only Offsides sports bar and grill if you’re looking for a place to feel at home and a place to taste some of the of the most wonderfully influenced options on a menu. “Had an amazing birthday party in the upstairs room. We had the taco buffet and it was delicious! Service was excellent and everything looked beautiful. They let us come in early to decorate and we were able to play our own music. I would recommend highly for a special occasion!“

“Tiny little Bar and grill. I've been going there for 20 years then one of the customers I have never seen before give me a hard time. It was the small disagreement over condo assessments then the owner decided to bar me. The wonderful bartenders he had let go and the place totally lost its appeal. The owner wouldn't even let me go in to get food to go. Ridiculous. But they did me a huge favor since it went downhill it's not even worth going in there anymore.“

However, was told no dogs allowed and had to bring mine home even though I see them all the time up there in the summer (outside) and there are 4 dogs outside now. I can see not allowing them in the wooden patio but on the grass? Then to pick and choose who can or can’t? Despite this, I would recommend and have.“

“While traveling to Chicago, I had an opportunity to visit Rookies Sports Bar & Grill. The service was very good and my waiter was very helpful with picking out some great dishes for us to try. From the fish to the ribs and salad. I have no complaints as everything was good. Cooked to perfection and the overall cost was reasonable. I look forward to another visit.“

“Benjamin Parada and I ate dinner at Wings Etc. tonight! We pulled up to the building and called the number listed clearly on the signs, with an employee's assistance our "take out" order was placed! Ben and I talked in the car just as we would have when we were inside the restaurant. However, sitting in the car and wearing a mask felt so much safer than being in the restaurant! Our food was out to our car very quickly. Wonderful delicious and amazing are words to describe the good wings! Date nights look so different with Covid but this was a super safe and fun date night!“

“Broken Oar is always a great time, especially on a summer Saturday afternoon. The atmosphere is lively, the crowd is fun, and the staff is consistently friendly and attentive.

We came by boat just to grab a few drinks and appetizers. Everything was good, but the churro fries were the standout of the day—absolutely worth ordering and highly recommended.

My only complaint is the docking situation. Getting from the docks to the restaurant requires walking through muddy, sandy terrain, which isn't ideal. More importantly, the docks sit very high above the water, and the exposed metal underneath ended up scratching our boat. If you have a typical recreational boat, I'd honestly think twice about arriving by water, as there's a real risk of cosmetic damage.

Despite that, the food, drinks, service, and overall atmosphere keep us coming back. We'll definitely be back—just probably by car next time.“
