“We were looking for something new and this was recommended by a friend. I'm glad they recommended. The Owls Nest is a great neighborhood bar/restaurant with very friendly staff. The atmosphere is casual, with plenty of seating at the bar or tables. I had wings, which were really good. My wife had a pulled pork sandwich with slaw that she really enjoyed. Heather did a great job taking care of us. We'll definitely be back to try out their Thursday fried chicken special. It looked delicious!!“

Has like 3-4 sections of pricing and hard to figure out what is going on. They have specialty pizzas but weren't on menu. Waitress couldn't answer exactly what prices were either. We made it thru though and enjoyed our time and experience. Also offers to take and bake to finish cooking at home. Said order it half baked and uncut!“

“We were staying at Staybridge Suites to attend a concert and didn't want to tackle trying to find a restaurant. After reading reviews we decided to call Firehouse which we learned about from a menu we found at the check in desk. WOW!! What a pleasant surprise!! First, the service was incredible, delivery right to our room!! She was delightful and deserved the extra tip!! Second, I don't know what you put in that pizza sauce but I wish it was bottled so I could take it back to New Palestine, Indiana with us!! FABULOUS!! And the salad was fresh and plentiful!! This review is mostly about their delivery partner.I just moved to Peoria, and yesterday, after 8 hours of lugging heavy boxes and furniture up 2 flights of stairs into our apartment, we decided to treat ourselves with a local pizza place.So I called for delivery because we're sweaty and exhausted, and the employee tells me they only deliver through Doordash.Crap. I hate Doordash. Nine times out of ten, there's an issue with the delivery. I picked a pizza place, because they usually hire their own drivers.But we're too tired to find somewhere else to order, so I bite the bullet.My Doordash order gets here, and of course, there's a whole pizza missing from the order. Typical Doordash. I called the restaurant and he confirmed that the pizza was still sitting there. He offered to call Doordash for a re-delivery, and I said sure, thank you.Well, 7 phone calls back and forth with Doordash customer service, they told me 1) They'd re-deliver, 2) Oops, they couldn't reach the driver 3) Do you want a refund? 4) Oops, we can't process a refund 5) I'll ask my supervisor for a re-delivery again 6) This time I had to call, and they told me they had to "escalate the issue" 7) It is now the next day, and they tell me they have to "escalate it" again to a different team.So now it's the next day and I'm still without my refund and without my pizza.2 stars for the food, because what we did receive was very tasty, but after the day we had and the added stress from Doordash, I don't know if we'll ever order here again. I frequently enjoy dining at Monical's for events, and their thin crust pizzas have never disappointed me during each visit. At this location, the wait staff are sometimes hard to get the attention of more than once an hour -- but it's also a pizza restaurant.“

That's happened twice over the years and it was quite disappointing since that's what makes the Veggie Delight an actual delight, in my opinion. This place has some nice employees. We go weekly when in town.“

“My daughter and I came out for the grand opening to check things out. We shared the cheese curds, chicken Alfredo with pesto and the Kirk (Mac and cheese with bacon) sandwich. Everything was delicious!!! The service was excellent, the waitress was kind and checked on us often even though they were quite busy.
