“Visited Ela’s restaurant in Western Springs over the weekend. On Sunday they have a half off pizza special. Highly recommend the pizza. It is a thicker dough, but it is absolutely delicious. We also enjoyed the calamari which was just as good. Service from Rebecca was exceptional and overall good experience.”

“I grew up in Western Springs, in a house on the “other side of the tracks”. Almost every Sunday, my father and I would go to Kirschbaum’s for a dozen donuts. Those donuts were sooo good.”

“Our family absolutely loves Bb's donuts! We do miss being able to go inside the donut shop. So many wonderful memories taking our little girl there to eat donuts and read a book or two. We have a little boy with Autism and it's not safe for him to sit in front by the busy street because he runs. Wish we could go inside to enjoy donuts & coffee knowing it's something our son would truly enjoy.”

“Random act of kindness. My mother in law who is 94 and in a nursing home across the street from the store asked for ice cream. When I entered the store and explained situation the owner cheerfully served up a little cup and then gave it to me free. It is great to know people still care and are kind.”

“Quick friendly service to make sub sandwiches just the way you like them. Miss the $5 footlong that now cost $10 or more, but it still is a freshly made good quality sandwiche that fills you up. Place is kept nice and clean with easy to read menu on the wall. Good location near LTHS South Campus so you always see students and staff from school at this location.

“can’t understand how this place is only 4 stars—Liz and Ramon made our first experience here absolutely top-notch. We had an appetizer, a custom pizza, and a few rounds of drinks, and everything was delicious. Not a single note. They accommodated all of our (very specific!) pizza customizations with a smile, and the service felt genuinely welcoming. This spot deserves more love—can’t wait to come back!”

“I stopped by with my toddler and was immediately greeted by staff. Ordered the breakfast burrito and a taco and rice for my daughter and the food was delicious. The rice was flavorful, the tortilla was fresh and the best part was the agua de Mango. Will definitely have to stop in again and try other items on the menu.”
