“I have nothing but compliments for this wonderful establishment! My fiancé and I went out to dinner last night and had a taste for authentic Italian. I found this place online and read nothing but wonderful reviews about the food, and service. Located in downtown Westmont. Parking was so easy (right across the street), and from the moment we walked in we were treated like royalty. The manager Sergio greeted us with a huge smile, sat us, and told us a little about the restaurant. Our server Alysa was nothing short of amazing, knowledgeable, and gave us wonderful recommendations. We felt like family! All of the food is made in house, pastas, sauces, and even the wine and desserts! You can taste the quality of the ingredients, and tell that every single person puts so much care into making sure every customer is happy. The whole experience was wonderful, and it’s so nice to see small (not chain restaurants) are thriving. It’s been a long time since we had an experience like this at a restaurant and we appreciate their hospitality! I think we found our new date night spot! We will be back!! OFTEN! “Open for breakfast, open for me! Buddy and I stopped in after a round at Green Meadows and were astounded. Taqueria Ranchito was quick to seat us and to serve us chips and salsa. Huevo rancheros on my plate, eggs and chorizo on my buddies, they filled us to the brim! Cream and sugar for your coffee, napkin dispeners on every table, Taqueria Ranchito knows how to host!”

“first off our server was Claudia. she was all that a server should be and much more ! Attentive, kind, gave suggestions , talkative, friendly. so very sweet. I was disappointed to hear that they did not have any Moscato wine. I was also disappointed when I ordered ice cream only to find out there was no ice cream. I asked to speak to the manager. His name was Ellie. he didn’t seem to care about anything I was telling him including complimenting our server. food was good. service was great. music was good too. Manager was not professional at all.”

“Great job tonight! Everything we had was delicious and the bartender was speedy and attentive. Half sausage onion, half cheese pizza well done was made perfectly. Crisp dough tangy and delicious sauce. Person saying not child friendly, it’s centered around a bar like an actualy Chicago spot, I know it’s hard for you rich folk to comprehend but life can’t be fully controlled, quit sheltering children. “I love Standard Market's Seeded Rye Bread! It is one of the best rye breads to be found anywhere in the west suburbs. Unfortunately the last two loaves I bought are so very , very salty? I do bake bread myself (not as good as Standard Market's) I am aware of the role of salt, sugar etc. and their proportions, so why this extremely salty version ?”

“The food was great! If you want an authentic mom and pop Korean restaurant, this is it. We had the pan fried dumplings which were huge and you get 6 of them! The grill was charcoal, which was pretty amazing. We had the bulgogi and pork. We'll definitely be back to try more!”

“The stinky tofu is really stinky, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside (compared to the one next door). The meatballs and glutinous rice sausages are also good. They are extremely difficult to eat in the United States. Very attentive. Thank you. A must-visit place if you want to eat Taiwanese food.”

“Had a great experience at Whiskey Hill. The chicken sandwich and very unique take on fries was excellent. The kids menu is a bonus and my daughter finished nearly all the pizza. They were out of pulled pork and ribs but offered to create a burnt ends sandwich instead. Great recommendation from our server! It was delicious. The vibe is an added bonus. It's absolutely beautiful inside. I appreciate a place that backs up ambiance with great food and drinks. Plus, love getting craft cocktails from a brewery. It will definitely be our local spot from now on.”

Great food tho. Anything you order is on point even if it takes a minute and when it's white chili season in the fall you're in for a treat.

“A Chinese friend took her family here recently and recommended we visit. The food was delicious and I was absolutely delighted to see the shrimp dish we ordered came with Prawn Crackers (Shrimp Chips) which are served as standard in British Chinese restaurants but never in the US. Both the main courses and appetizers were lovely. The service was fantastic, attentive, and they worked very hard to make sure we had everything we needed. You really can't ask for more. The food is Excellent; prices great, service fabulous. I Adore their chile rellenos burrito and their mild, red salsa is thee best salsa I have ever had in my life hands down. I wish they made quesa birria tacos, though-- I bet they'd do a phenomenal job.
They only lost stars because it smells so strongly of Mr. Clean it burns my eyes. Don't dine-in. Get it to go or eat in your car.

I would have given it a 5 star easily because their food is amazing!! but they need to think of training this people or hire people who would have better customer service!! Not this rude old ladies who are miserable!!”
