“I have nothing but compliments for this wonderful establishment! My fiancé and I went out to dinner last night and had a taste for authentic Italian. I found this place online and read nothing but wonderful reviews about the food, and service. Located in downtown Westmont. Parking was so easy (right across the street), and from the moment we walked in we were treated like royalty. The manager Sergio greeted us with a huge smile, sat us, and told us a little about the restaurant. Our server Alysa was nothing short of amazing, knowledgeable, and gave us wonderful recommendations. We felt like family! All of the food is made in house, pastas, sauces, and even the wine and desserts! You can taste the quality of the ingredients, and tell that every single person puts so much care into making sure every customer is happy. The whole experience was wonderful, and it’s so nice to see small (not chain restaurants) are thriving. It’s been a long time since we had an experience like this at a restaurant and we appreciate their hospitality! I think we found our new date night spot! We will be back!! OFTEN! “They have a great staff and the food is terrific. They have a menu that has something for everyone . They are health conscious with their offerings; I’m a diabetic so I eat a lot of salads,and chilli. You can see that if you’re not satisfied with your order or service they will fix it and pronto . I can’t say enough about my neighborhood bar and grill! Good food, atmosphere,and the people are friendly and make you feel like coming back.🏈🐻 Great place to watch sports and cheer DaBears.”

“This place is the best. They’re consistent, quick and get it right everytime. I come here as a treat to myself, and they kill it every time! It’s a well oiled machine, and the staff cares to make your food right and you can tell they all work together well. “first off our server was Claudia. she was all that a server should be and much more ! Attentive, kind, gave suggestions , talkative, friendly. so very sweet. I was disappointed to hear that they did not have any Moscato wine. I was also disappointed when I ordered ice cream only to find out there was no ice cream. I asked to speak to the manager. His name was Ellie. he didn’t seem to care about anything I was telling him including complimenting our server. food was good. service was great. music was good too. Manager was not professional at all.”

“Open for breakfast, open for me! Buddy and I stopped in after a round at Green Meadows and were astounded. Taqueria Ranchito was quick to seat us and to serve us chips and salsa. Huevo rancheros on my plate, eggs and chorizo on my buddies, they filled us to the brim! Cream and sugar for your coffee, napkin dispeners on every table, Taqueria Ranchito knows how to host!”

“The food is incredible. I get the dinner with one pastor taco and one chile relleno taco and they're both the best I've had in Westmont hands down. The beans are cooked perfectly and the rice is as expected, delicious.

The customer service is always very pleasant and their salsa verde AND salsa rojo are both very flavorful with solid spice.

Really good value for a little over $10. I live right across the street and my wife and I will be getting this place more often!”

“Had a great experience at Whiskey Hill. The chicken sandwich and very unique take on fries was excellent. The kids menu is a bonus and my daughter finished nearly all the pizza. They were out of pulled pork and ribs but offered to create a burnt ends sandwich instead. Great recommendation from our server! It was delicious. The vibe is an added bonus. It's absolutely beautiful inside. I appreciate a place that backs up ambiance with great food and drinks. Plus, love getting craft cocktails from a brewery. It will definitely be our local spot from now on.”

“I love Standard Market's Seeded Rye Bread! It is one of the best rye breads to be found anywhere in the west suburbs. Unfortunately the last two loaves I bought are so very , very salty? I do bake bread myself (not as good as Standard Market's) I am aware of the role of salt, sugar etc. and their proportions, so why this extremely salty version ?”

I also happened to forget my purse at this restaurant only to realise the next day. Upon contacting the restaurant, I was assured that the purse is intact and kept safe to return. I found my purse soon, thanks to the courteous staff. 😄”

Their elote is delicious, I get it every time I get a chance.They also have aguas frescas that are refreshing. The co-owner is a really nice guy and always says hi when he’s around. Overall an awesome place to satisfy a craving.”

“We have been going Mai Tai for years for thier lunch special which includes an appy, soup, and a generous lunch portion. There are new owners who are fixing up the interior which was really run down. They are very friendly!”

“New Ownership. Everything you read was the old restaurant. New owners are very engaged and don't have the Soviet mentality and customer service issues. Very nice cosy European restaurant. You literally wouldn't know you were in the USA and not Vilnius. The borscht is better then what I had in Ukraine. It's fantastic! Delicious kielbasa. Not oily, not dry, just right! Everything was top notch. They remodeled the interior and it's very clean and inviting. It's almost posh. Just like what you find in Europe. Customers are European. They won't come here unless it's very good. And it really is.”
