“A very standard McDonald’s experience overall, but I wanted to highlight this specific location because of its unique setting near Chicago Executive Airport. Several tables face the southern end of the airfield, giving you a clear view of both the north–south and east–west runways. It’s a surprisingly nice spot if you enjoy watching small aircraft activity while you eat.
As a chef, I know fast food can be a stressful job and doesn’t always get the recognition it deserves. The staff here handled my order correction quickly when my McNuggets were missed, and I appreciate the professionalism.
I do want to note that the cashier I interacted with seemed unsure when counting coins, which was surprising since basic cash-handling skills should be part of the job description or training. It didn’t affect the overall experience, but it stood out.
Even with that small hiccup, this is a solid McDonald’s in a convenient location — close to the airport and very near a library branch I visit often. I’d happily stop here again when I’m in the area.

McDonald's coffee tastes great. Always consistent between locations and I don't have to Max My Credit Card for a cup!! The quip Ranch Wrap was a fast, yummy treat McDonald's is Number 1!!!“
