“My previous review was accidentally deleted by me, but let me just say that this is by far the best bar around the Chicagoland area. Firstly, let me start by raving about Colleen, the GOAT of bartenders! She is an absolute sweetheart! From the first day she made me feel at home! If you are new, she goes up to you, introduces herself and hands you a napkin. She has the most awesome and proper etiquette for the hospitality industry. Colleen is an absolute godsend! I do not know a single person who badmouths her. She also makes the best margaritas and rums/cokes! She remembers your name as wel and starts calling you by your name on the second day. The other bartenders are amazing as well. On Tuesdays and Thursdays when I go in, Lisa remembers my drink and food order. She is also a gem as well! As far as the food goes, the chicken bacon ranch wrap is one of the best I have ever eaten. The Cheddar Cheese burger is amazing as well. Seriously this place is a great find. As far as the reviews calling this place racist are concerned, to each their own: I have never had any issues and I am disabled and asian that is like a double negative. It is the most inclusive place around town!“

“Just moved here to des plaines and cannot be more appreciative of any bar, this one by far is my favorite, the ppl, the drinks the food, and the exquisite service.. there is nothing ‘at 7 bar’ doesn’t give to their customers! “My boyfriend and I stopped by Cafe Mistiko this past weekend and wow, it was a pleasant surprise. We both got the lavender latte and it was perfectly balanced, not too sweet at all. The pastries looked amazing too, we ended up sharing a croissant that was flaky and buttery, definitely worth the price for how good it was. The whole vibe in there is super cozy, too.“

“the owner is amazing! my first time ordering here, I thought i placed the order for delivery, instead it was for pickup. I called and the owner answered, I explained i didn't have a car at the moment and he personally delivered the order himself. I tried to give him a tip and he refused. the food was great and still hot by the time we received it. we will definitely be ordering again! thank you so much!“

“The sign says established in 1932, and every time I've driven by, I think I need to stop in. I finally did, and am kicking myself for wasted time. There is indoor and outdoor seating. The large bar and restaurant seating is comfortable and spacious. There is a variety of beers on tap, served in well-frosted glasses. We sat at the bar and I had one of the best burgers I've ever had, served with homemade chips. It was so good that I almost returned with another companion the next day!“

“Lindsay is the best. We were tired after traveling all day. The food and drink were perfect to reenergize us. Shrimp pasta and jambalaya were excellent. Service was great. Tonight we went back and took a friend. We asked for Lindsey and she even remembered us and our drink preferences. The flatbreads and chocolate cake are great. Cannot beat this atmosphere.“

Oh by the way they also have helped me grow the sport of Arm Wrestling by allowing me to host tournaments at thier venue! Look out for info on the next event March 28th 2026!
