“Fast service and the bowls were pretty good portion sizes. A little pricey, but they serve breakfast pretty late into the afternoon. The bacon is extra but worth it. The hash browns are your regular frozen hash browns but they're crispy and come with an onion jam. I learned what a calamansi was from the soda option, it's a small citrus fruit that's a hybrid between a kumquat and a mandarin. It's a pretty good soda.“

“Very nice central asian restaurant with cheap food and very generous portions, you can almost feed 3 people with 1 plate that's how big the portions are but you get to take more home which is good. My favorite dishes were the Mamti, which are steamed dumplings, and the fried laymgman which is pasta with vegetables and meat.“

“This place is awesome! We went for a girls night and enjoyed the whole hotpot experience! The lamb is halal here, so we were happy to have a meat option. However, the veggie broth itself is so flavorful—having just veggies would have been just fine! By the end of the night we were drinking cups of the broth, because of how flavorful it was!! If you like spicy, definitely get the spicy broth! You won’t regret it. Appreciated how clean the place was—the staff were great about checking in and refilling the broth regularly! Will definitely be going back for more!!“

The staff very kind and had great suggestions when we were torn in our decisions. They have tables and bar set up with stools, I did notice even child booster seats.“

This my first time dining at King Pho. My friends have been here before and recommended for us to meet up here.

We ordered Phở Tái, Bún Tôm Nướng, Spring Rolls and Crab Rangoon. It was plenty for 3 people and took some home. They also have a huge menu with Smoothies and Bubble Tea. I looking forward to trying the teas and other menu items“

I had an egg sandwich which I could not eat fast enough because it was so good and my wife had the curry bowl with spam which she also loved. Food peoples of Evanston unite! This place is superb and the food came out fast. They even thanked us personally for coming in. I highly recommend giving it a try, you’ll be as glad as we were.“

“We ordered two mixed drinks, and a variety of maki. The Chicago Crunchy Crazy roll was our favorite! The spice level on the spicy salmon maki roll was actually spicy which was refreshing. The matcha creme brulee was also one we'll be back for! The drinks were amazing and not why we went so a very pleasant surprise! Pat served us and I think was also our bartender (we came soon after they opened so pretty empty). She let us take our time so we never felt rushed and she was very attentive. “Really good place! I was expecting generic Chinese but I was pleasantly surprised. I asked the owner if the egg foo young was made with real eggs, or eggs from a carton. He was kind of shocked at the notion he would use eggs from a carton and assured me it was made with fresh eggs and freshly-made vegetables, like he would not be caught dead doing it any other way. That gave me a good feeling about the place - he clearly had pride in what he does. We had a vegetarian and a celiac in the party and he was very understanding and respectful of their needs. We are picky eaters but were all very happy with our meals, which were really good. Big portions too!“
