“Way better than Alton !!!!Whoop. I love Jimmy John's, and after dealing with the Alton store, I was fed up with the nonsense and just can find other places to eat. I stopped by the Wood River location on my way to Edwardsville last night only because of convenience of location and was really pleased with them their svc their speed and quality of the food. Thank you, Wood River Jimmy John's. I still will not Order from the Alton location again !!! But atleast I know where one is that I will. Jimmy John's needs to get a handle on their Alton location.“
“Food is always delicious. The order was fulfilled as requested. But, the last 2 time, I have ordered the Flatbread, and it wasn't cut. I know it is perforated, but tearing with all the toppings doesn't always prove successful. Otherwise, I am only missing some of the ingredients. Bring back the spinach wrap, avocados and a few minor things! Thank you. ?“
“I know this is not gonna be popular, but it tasted exactly like the food you find in a hospital canteen or high school lunchroom. And I gotta think someone else has had the same observation because there is a sign in the bathroom that reads something like they are cool with you believing your mother's chicken salad is better. Well, there is a lot of truth to that. And my mom's is much better... and my mom is a terrible cook. The food was just ok. I think people go here for the kitsch and the down home sayings onto the wall. The staff was awesome. However, being greeted by a newspaper clipping featuring Paula Deen... well, just not sure that endorsement has aged well. Look, the place is spotlessly clean and the employees were incredible, but the food wasn't nearly as special as they claim it to be. We tried the potato soup, broccoli soup, pimento cheese, chicken salad and desserts. I will try it again and update my review if the food knocks my socks off.“
“A community staple! Sammi's not only has delicious food but their philanthropic endeavors are some of the best in the area! My go-to chicken bacon ranch salad is the absolute best!! Everything down to their kids grilled cheese is good! Great portion sizes, amazing specials, not to mention affordable.“
“This is definitely a hidden gem that is a must go to! It is set in an old building with natural hardwood floors and a view of the river. Beautiful quilts are hung throughout and the restaurant is meticulously clean! The staff were constantly cleaning tables and keeping on top of everything. The Pulled Pork Sandwich was tender and flavorful. The Turkey Club was absolutely delicious with fresh lettuce and tomatoes. We had the Turtle Pie and Toll House Brownies for dessert which were both incredible. A table near us had carrot cake and it looked amazing too! Our service was also great! Everyone was very friendly!“
“I go hear about once a week when I can afford it, as there are almost no Quiznos left where I am from. They have a new crop of employees, which had me worried at first, but now I am absolutely 100% impressed with how these employees were trained! They have knocked it out of the park every time I've gone recently! Keep it up, guys and gals!!!!!Parking: Plenty of on-site spots.“
“I've only been to this location 2xs but both times the food was delicious and service was friendly. First time was a free med hook n ladder from T-Mobile which was awesome and made correctly. We ate in. The place was clean and tidy. Today 6/2/23 @1:17 pm I did a mobile order. The gentleman who prepared my order was so polite when I said I was a mobile order and made my sandwich and special requests perfectly. The sandwich was even done early and I only waited a couple minutes. It was sooo delicious. It was a double meat large NYSteamer with lettuce, onion, and banana pprs on the side. My husband, who is super picky, never had a NY steamer before and he said it was amazing as well. Thank you dude for today. I super appreciate it!!“
“Upon arrival late in afternoon there were 5 people ahead of us and ONE worker! We were amazed and how well he worked taking care of each person. Never faltered at any task and followed all sanitary rules. We comllimented and hope he gets recognized“
“I like the McAlester's Club. Staff is typically very friendly but the drive thru can be too slow. At the drive thru today, I ordered 3 iced teas and had 1 car in front of me. It took 12 minutes before the car in front of me was able to pull forward.It seems that the drive thru wait time is normally greater than 15 minutes whether I just order drinks or a few meals.“
“Went here for the first time in forever to get a sandwich with my grandma and our sandwiches were amazing .Actually the best we have ever received from there .The guy working was super nice ,and he was working all by himself.Fast ,friendly ,and made sure everything was awesome ?“
“I love this place but I really watch the crew when servicing the customers, they don't change out their gloves when going from one customer to the next, even after checking them out. It's not good to do this, cross contamination. I just ask them to please change their gloves, they do.“
