It comes with fresh vegetables, feta cheese cubes, and a generous mound of seasoned rice. The rice helps soak up the delicious sauce. You won't want to miss a drop. Bring a big appetite, and be patient. It takes a while. Wow!“

“Wow, it's hard to believe such an Icon in pies is down to just 3 locations left. Anyone that has ever had one of their pies knows how great they are, however me and a couple of friends had lunch there as well and it was very very good. I spoke to the manager and he told me that the main cook has been there for 30 frigen years. Keep up the awesome food, pies and service. Thank you for the outstanding experience.Parking: Both of my friends, husband and wife, are in wheelchairs, plenty of disabled spots and the restaurant has plenty of room to navigate them through. Another thing you don't ever see any longer are multiple toilet stalls and urinals. Back in the day all restaurants had adequate facilities, now you're in luck if there are 2 stalls and a urinal. I know it sounds like a petty subject to bring up, but if you're ever in the unfortunate position of mother nature attacking your system, well, you certainly won't have to wait and pray for the best. “Golden Basket Breakfast Club is our go-to breakfast spot. The atmosphere is bright and welcoming. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. The food never disappoints. I'm often surprised by how quickly the food is served. I love their pancakes, biscuits and Gravy and any of the omletes or skillets. They also have a wonderful lunch menu. I just ate there this morning and I already can't wait to go back!“

“I decided to visit this cafe because of the high reviews. I'm certainly glad that I did. The food was all delicious but what really sets this place apart is the service. Mimi is the nicest lady. She greeted my children warmly. She is very attentive and kind. You can tell she takes pride in her restaurant and making sure you leave in a better mood than you arrived. I'd give the service 10 stars if I could.“

“I had the meatloaf with mashed potatoes and coleslaw. The meatloaf was a but dry and could use more flavor because the sauce or gravy just was not to my liking. I also had the pineapple shake and it was good but like the meatloaf it could have used more pineapple flavor. Overall, the experience was great and the food was like home or hand made.“
