“Epic, memorable lunch. We ordered steaks, and they were perfectly prepared and grilled. The strip steak was a perfect medium as requested, and my filet mignon was a delicious medium rare. No gristle, very tender. Barry, our waiter was accommodating, efficient, and flawless. We had 2 special requests that he honored without blinking an eye. Barry's not your run of the mill waiter. He's entertaining and funny without interfering in conversations. From beginning to end, it was a textbook perfect dining experience.“

“This place is adorable. The staff were so welcoming and friendly. We ordered a lemon and a banana pudding cupcake and both were fantastic. The white cake is so soft and fluffy and moist. The cupcake was so fresh and had great flavor. I love that they offer puppy cupcakes as well. They have the best cupcakes I have ever had in my life. “We came here to warm up and get a midday snack since we were in the area. We came an hour before closing and there were still plenty of baked goods available. There was also plenty of seating and it was clean inside. I had a blackberry brownie and a blueberry basil matcha latte. I typically dislike sweet drinks so I was hesitant to order the latte. However, it wasn't overly sweet and the flavor was interesting (in a good way). The blackberry brownie was rich and also delicious. My child had a big chocolate chip cookie and devoured it instantly. I wish we came for lunch since there were intriguing menu items but we will be back if we are in the area!“

From the initial planning with Sonia to the day of, we were blown away by the food, service and care we received. There is very little needed in terms of decoration [the space is beautiful as-is] and Sonia and her team did a wonderful job keeping everything running smoothly and on time. We even ended up needing to push our first course back by at least 15 minutes and they still didn’t skip a beat. Nothing felt rushed, behind schedule or off beat in any way. “I was very impressed by Fire and Wine. It has a casual vibe. Obviously a local favorite. Each dish was excellent in taste and presentation. Service was great! “Discovered this place while biking to catch the BNSF back to Chicago. Usually would bike past to hop on the train at Western Springs or LaGrange Road. But one day I stopped short and popped in here. Really impressed by the selection of beer, wine, and whiskey. Before the Derby, they had three different bottles of Blanton's Bourbon. I asked for a smell (it's not Jimmy John's, I know) and they obliged me without so much as a blink of the eye. Quite an impressive wine selection. “Sweet Ali's is amazing from the baked goods themselves to the service! There was a mix up with my order on their end and they rectified it by driving out the correct ones to me in the same day since I needed them for Easter. The customer service is amazing!!! I will recommend them over and over! (The Key lime pie and Tiramisu are both so delicious! My dad said the eggplant Parmesan was delicious.) So happy they exist for us gluten free peeps! (Non-gf people love their goods as well!). Have to add... they even gave us beautiful, delicious cupcakes when they delivered the quiches!“

“Such an amazing place to eat! The ambience is impeccable, along with the food and drinks. I love that they offer herbal teas and actually serve them loose leaf in glass/stainless steel strainers. They're really paying attention to small details that make such a huge difference. The fact that they offer grass fed meat is so cool, it's hard to find places that are good price bit high quality. This was the perfect place to pick for our date. I got the grilled chicken sandwich... the flavor was phenomenal? my boyfriend got the avocado BLT burger and he said it was delicious! The only note we had was that the fries were cut super thick and some were slightly under cooked, but none were raw and they still tasted amazing, we just think they needed to be fried for another minute or two to be perfect✨ amazing service and just such a cute place. “This company bakes amazing sprouted grain breads. The only issue I have with them is shipping to the west coast. The cost of shipping is too high IMHO. I wonder why they can't use USPS priority flat rate boxes. That'll be so much cheaper for some of us to be able to order regularly. I wanted to order some more but at almost $60 I'm unable to. I hope they can look into this issue. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find a local business that carries these breads.“

Hot cider was delicious.Lots of seating in the clean dining area, including seats by the expansive windows overlooking the lights for the Illumination finale. That was a treat and a fun way to wrap up the evening.Our only issues were customer service focused. We had to ask for napkins and were given just two for meals that have a fair amount of juice. Also, we paid for my husband to have roasted vegetables added to his entree, but it looked just like mine in portion size. When I asked the server, he said he didn't know. No offer to check or to make it right. We were tired, so didn't press the point. “These days I'm not sure a bakery can really deliver everything one'd hope for in the past. Lezza has a great variety of bakery products, and you'll find some of them to be very reasonably priced. I love the lemon knot cookies and the Italian ice, and you'll find traditional cookies here too as well as danishes and donuts. There are very few independently owned places anymore with variety and low-cost options for treats and coffee, but this is one of them!“

The store about 12 miles from my home and it's in the heart of the Danada square in Wheaton. I was surprised how friendly staff were and they are just focusing on cake only. The cake was very moist and a bit too sweet. In my opinion, if they can reduce the amount of sugar in a half, that would make the cake better. I will definitely come back to try other flavors.“

“I saw the bakery sign and quickly parked the car. Upon entering, I saw that the bakery cases mainly held cookies, bars, and cupcakes. Not a huge variety, and more specialized with huge sandwiched cookies, macarons, large bar cookies. I opted for a Raspberry crumb bar and a chocolate cherry macaron decorated to look like Santa's belly. The bar cookie was huge; about 4" x 5". It had a deliciously crisp base, and you could taste the butter. It was filled with a thin layer of jam and a lovely crumb topping.The macaron was another story. The cookie itself was great. Light, airy, and crisp. The filling, however, tasted like white wedding cake frosting. It totally overpowered the macaron base. Made my teeth hurt. Total regret.I'd be interested in trying the cupcakes.“

“Food is consistently good. Love the toasted pork belly and cheese sammich and tomato soup for dipping. One comment is that I love the music at lunch. It's classic rock mostly, right up my alley, and not played so loud you can't talk to the people at your table. For dinner, my wife and I are hesitant, because depending on who is controlling the music, it can be very loud and very annoying and repetitive music. I can handle most music but not so loud I can't talk to the people at my table. Otherwise this is a great place for me - close to home, with very good beer and food.“

The owner Nicole was a literal babydoll and was so sweet, telling us all about her shop and the many offerings. “Spent an afternoon on Naperville and went to the Le Chocolat du Bouchard to pick up some chocolates for taking back home for the family. The shop is really lovely, and the lady who helped me pick the chocolates was really warm and friendly, and provided good suggestions.
