“This is one of the BEST places if your looking for steak tacos or burritos ( I cannot comment on there other items since I never tried them )
The meat is always fresh, Not fatty or chewy like a lot of other places. They trim the meat really well and it seems to be quality meat.
I have been eating at this location for years now and will not eat anywhere else. I have tried other locations ( not sure if they are the same owner ) but the quality is much different and not as good. This one on 111th is always the best.
Service is always top notch!
I believe the building use to be an old Wendy's so its a bit dated, Nothing fancy but its clean and the food is perfect!“

“My husband and I went for dinner in restaurant and really enjoyed the atmosphere. “Yesterday was my first time visiting this location, and overall I had a really good experience 😊 The food was super delicious and full of flavor, and the portions were very generous - definitely more than enough to feel satisfied 🍽️👌 I’ll absolutely be coming back again!

One small thing that could be improved is clearer signage. There wasn’t anything indicating that you can seat yourself, so I assumed I needed to order at the counter and wait for a number 🤔 Turns out I was completely wrong, and for a moment I thought I was about to get scolded 😅 The lady at the counter helped fix my order and guided me, and then I was able to sit down.

El día de hoy, martes 26 de noviembre, llegué a cenar a las 8:45 pm confiando en la información publicada en sus redes sociales, donde claramente se especifica que el horario de cierre es a las 11:00 pm. No obstante, a las 9:30 pm ya se estaba anunciando el "último llamado" para bebidas alcohólicas. Además, durante mi estancia, fui testigo de cómo dos familias fueron rechazadas para cenar por el mismo motivo: el restaurante estaba cerrando antes de tiempo debido a "la falta de clientes". Entiendo que puedan surgir situaciones operativas, pero considero que este tipo de decisiones impacta negativamente en la experiencia de sus clientes. Cuando se anuncia un horario de cierre, los clientes planeamos nuestras visitas en base a esa información. De no ser posible mantener el horario anunciado, sería más transparente ajustarlo oficialmente en sus plataformas para que las personas puedan planear con anticipación y, en caso necesario, optar por otras opciones. Por último, quiero mencionar que esta inconformidad fue compartida con nuestra mesera, quien nos escuchó con amabilidad. Sin embargo, creo que esta situación requiere un ajuste desde la gerencia para evitar malentendidos en el futuro. “Great pupusas had a Chicharron and Frijol great flavor and some great homemade sauces from mild to hot, highly recommend. There is also other options such as Tacos and Puputacos which is the Signature plate, which I need to come back to try. Didn't have to wait long and was served some tortilla chips while I waited which were great to try out some of the sauces. There is seat spacing for about 15-20 people. The Horchata drink was superb!!!“

“We celebrated my Uncle’s 86th birthday here and it was so very special! Michael was an amazing server; very attentive and knew the menu up and down. “Honestly this is one of the most charming restaurants I've ever been in. The service was fast and the front is run by a very sweet woman who made sure we had everything we could need. Definitely worth the price, my chicken tacos were hot and fresh and dripping they were so juicy. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. It's also super colorful and welcoming inside. I would definitely come back if I ever take a trip to see the arcade again!“

“Why have I driven past this place for years and never had been. In this last week I've been twice. These people are great. Not only are they very hospitable, but the food is really good. It's a restaurant, but it has that bar vibe as it gets a little later in the evening. We had a running group event here last night and it was so much fun. We plan to go more often and coordinate some of our holiday events with them. So far, I tried the chicken tacos and had a seafood soup (Caldo Mendigo) and they were both excellent.“

“Really good spot! I ordered the Machete half carne asada and half pierna with a glass Pepsi, and it definitely hit the spot. The machete is HUGE, packed with meat and cheese, and both the carne asada and pierna had great flavor. I also really liked that they have a self-serve salsa and condiment station, so you can load it up exactly how you want. Good portions, flavorful food, and definitely worth checking out if you’re craving Mexican food. I’ll be back!“

“A while back I heard of an employee that used to work at Atotonilco start a new spot called Esparza’s so I had to try it. I’ve been going to Atotonilco since the 90’s. Love that place. I’m a bit of a snob about it.

At that time I thought the food was ok. The seasoning was slightly different and the Al Pastor had a more tangy flavor. Not bad but not Atotonilco.

Yesterday we went back because Zacatacos service was so awful. My usual order of 2 steak tacos lettuce and tomato (only place I do that in as I usually prefer cilantro and onion) and 1 Al pastor with cilantro, onion and that salsa.

I have to say I’m super impressed. Not sure what you guys did but the Al pastor is much closer to Atotonilco. It tastes different than last time on a very good way. The meats of course are outstanding. Big chunks of skirt steak very well seasoned. Al pastor cut in perfect thickness.

These aren’t LA street tacos where you have to eat 10 of them. These are packed. They use Atotonilco tortillas which have a nice flavor.

Only issue I had on the trip was our server kind of forgot about us and we waited a while to order the 2 tacos someone wanted back at home. That happens I get it.

Whatever changes you’ve made great job! I will be coming back. Would recommend 10/10.“

“This place was so good! My boyfriend, baby, and I came here to dine in yesterday and the food was phenomenal. We were looking for queso barria tacos on google and they showed up. The server was awesome. They didn’t have a kids menu but I asked if they can do rice and eggs for the baby and they did just that he loved his meal as well! “Good restaurant with very good food. The service in my experience was a little bit on the slower side but not painstakingly slow. The staff are very polite and helpful with their customers. The food is more expensive than other Mexican restaurants I’ve been to in Oak Lawn, Burbank etc but I think that’s because the city of Chicago taxes small businesses unfairly just to stay afloat so the restaurants have to make up for that charging extra for their food. I’m not in Evergreen Park that often but I do plan to make occasional visits to stop and dine in here.“

We had the steak burrito and it was tasty and the meat was in generous portions and it was nice and hot on a cold rainy day. The prices are the best.$9.55 for a steak burrito is unbeatable.
