“Been going here for since I've lived in zion. Hands down the best Chinese food in town, and there's not a close 2nd. They are even nice enough to cater to my wife's allergies so she can also enjoy their food. Sne normally can't have takeout from any Chinese spot but she absolutely can from here. Will always give them my business based on that fact alone.“

“I haven't taste my order shrimp egg food young, but if it's as good and tasty as the orange chicken, the broccoli cook perfectly just how I like it cooked, also the steam rice also perfectly not over or under cooked or sticking together just the way I liked! “I stopped in for lunch and ordered the Szechuan Chicken and Kung Pao Chicken lunch specials. The prices were very reasonable, and the portions were generous definitely a great value for what you get! The food itself was good, though I personally would’ve enjoyed just a bit more seasoning and spice to bring out the flavors even more.

What really stood out was the customer service absolutely amazing! Everyone was friendly, attentive, and made me feel welcome from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and it felt like a place that genuinely cares about its customers. Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience and I’d be happy to return again!“

This trip, Beef Chop Suey, Combo Fried Rice, Chicken Egg Rolls and Vegetable Egg Foo Young, as always the food was delicious, portions were large and service was very friendly. “I’m from the city and haven’t found a Chinese spot in the suburbs until now. The moment I walked in the door I was greeted by a big smile from the woman preparing my carry out order. The pork fried rice was great! It was well seasoned and had a generous amount of pork in it. The portions were exactly what you expect for the price you pay. Very satisfied.“

The cashier was a bit slow and didn’t know the description of some food items but she explained she was new and still learning. “This is some of the best Chinese food I’ve had. From eggrolls to fried rice, the quality is great! Tastes fresh, portions are reasonable and how long it takes to receive your order is prompt. I can’t even take a picture of the food because I ate it all, it smelled so good. If you want fast, fresh and savory food, def come here! “I was at the Genesee theater, watching “The Nutcracker” and after the show ended, I decided to get a bite somewhere nearby. that’s when I stumbled upon China Garden Restaurant! luckily there was no line they took my order within seconds and the food came out within minutes. The lady who took my order was very nice and patient with me since it was my first time there. It was really delicious!!!! I had number #10 - the chicken and broccoli (pictured below) .“

“I've never dined in but get takeout regularly as it near a family member's house. Ming Garden has the best crab rangoon I've ever had, very savory, nicely balanced, always fried up just right. If you like onions and mushrooms and can handle a bit of spice the Mongolian beef is really good, too. One thing I would warn people is that their "Cantonese lo-mein" is different from other lo-main in our area; it is thinner and a little crispier and a slightly different flavor. It's not my preference and the first time I ordered it not knowing there was a difference and brought it to someone that requested lo-mein they were disappointed. The family that run it are really nice, though, this is a great Kenosha business to support.“

“This is a takeout-only spot, as all the tables and chairs have been removed. That said, I really enjoyed the food. You can tell it was prepared with care, and the quality exceeded my expectations, especially given some of the mixed reviews. The ingredients were fresh, and the food was served piping hot, which made for a great meal.“

Don’t know if it was old but the shrimp fried rice and chicken sweet-and-sour was very good. I would recommend this restaurant.“
