“I’ve gone to Shirl’s over the years here and there but I went last week, first time in a while, and the burger I got was BOMB! Fries were fresh too. Next time I wanted a burger, had to stop in and same thing. Went again last night and amazing, ice cream cone was really good too.

Everyone’s complaining about the price but it’s not that bad compared to every other fast food place so not fair to say their prices are “outrageous.” Sorry but we’re never going back to $5 meals anymore…wish we would but what’re you gonna do ??‍♂️ Definitely check this place out if driving by!“

“Well we wanted ice cream so we went to Baskin-Robbins when I was growing up it was 31 flavors it ain't that way no more. Anyways looking at the assorted flavors they had you could not tell what was in there there was no labels for any of the ice cream and the gentleman behind the counter had no clue either one he said was rainbow sherbert now I'm 53 I've had tons of rainbow sherbet that was no rainbow sherbet that was some other sherbert but wasn't rainbow. But he was a very professional employee that took care of me. But still would have been nice to figure out what other ice cream was in there. Need labels for each container of ice cream“

“I highly recommend Scoops for anyone and everyone. They have soo many flavors to choose from, including dairy and gluten free options. Not sure if an ingredient is in your preferred ice cream? Ask and they're all happy to let you know! And they're soo quick to respond to messages as well. I'm sensitive to a variety of foods and I'm very thankful I'm still able to enjoy a sweet treat thanks to Scoops!“

Parking: The parking is very cramped and annoying but overall I would say it is worth it just to be able to eat here.

Kid-friendliness: Nice atmosphere and good decorations. There are modern elements like tablets to order on and displays of the cookies.

Wheelchair accessibility: Can roll wheelchair, might have trouble because of the curb but overall, not hard for wheelchairs.“

“The owner and staff are the absolute best! My daughter and I go to the Rec Plex location whenever she has her ice skating. I had a birthday party recently and ordered popping boba online however the shipment was late. Smarty’s Sweets and Treats came to our rescue and saved the day! They are so generous and the way the value community really shows. Their downtown location is great and has even more sweets as well.“

“I had 6 tacos 5-27-22. They were really good. Ended up getting 3 steak & 3 pork tacos and steak burrito 5-28-22. They were excellent tasting and filled me up. Gotta try the chicken next time. So very pleased with the food. The order was taken quickly and service was exceptional. I so recommend this place.“

“By far our favorite neighborhood place to go! We are pretty close and take out often. The gyro and chicken gyro are phenomenal, along with the chicken Philly and burgers. I truly don't think we have had anything sub-par. But even better, is the price. Especially for the quality of the food, the price point keeps up coming back over and over.“

“VERY overdue but the homie and homegirl on shift were both extremely chill. We had to stop for some ice cream and it was two little girls that we had with us and they were understanding of kids being in there and they threw us a couple of extra apple fritters. “I’m lucky to be right next to Michoacán a Pedir de Boca at the mall! Their treats are seriously the best. Fresh fruit, ice cream, elote, amazing drink flavors, and a friendly staff that makes you feel welcome every time. I’ve been to many Michoacanas, and this one has the best fresh fruit drinks I’ve had (agua de fruta is my favorite). I haven’t even had the chance to try everything yet, but if you’re at Gurnee Mills, you’ve got to stop by. Great people, great treats…can’t recommend them enough!“
