“TC's is a great small town restaurant that serves good, hot food and lots of it. We stopped here mid-afternoon on a Friday so the place was near empty. I didn't want to eat much so I ordered a catfish sandwich. It came with two catfish fingers in a large bun. The catfish was tender and moist. My companions ordered full meals. The ribeye and pork chop are enormous! Wow! A third diner ordered boneless country ribs. The plate was full of chunks of ribs slathered with BBQ sauce. The food took a while to be served, even with few tables occupied. The menu clearly states they will not sacrifice quality for fast service. So expect to wait and allow a little more time. The atmosphere is very divey in a good way. The walls are adorned with old sports photos from the long gone Battle Ground HS. I believe I will return soon.“

“I'm wary about posting this review because sometimes I have to wait for a table or booth, this place is that popular. With a unique menu ranging from Breakfast Soup to stuffed burgers and amazing ribs, the Red Bird Cafe is not your standard issue roadside diner. Trish herself works in the kitchen and also circulates among her customers to make sure everybody's doing alright. Great decor and even a small souvenir/gift shop. Weekends are the busiest. Be sure to check the business hours.“

“If you are looking for a pleasant dining experience and affordable food, this is the place! We had the salmon, jalapeño burger, and pretzel appetizer. All of them were delicious and one of the best priced meals we have had for the quality of food in a long time! Highly recommend“

“Inital apperances are everything and this place ticked all the boxes right away. A very cozy environment surrounded by hard working and friendly employees. Food itself was really good for cost, overall pleasantly surprised by the great service for the price of the establishment.“

“Classic! Good ol burgers, fries, and American food. Was very happy to have been able to come! Very affordable and plenty of options.Great stop on our way to Indianapolis. Took about 15min to get seated. Not a big deal, but keep that in mind if you’re from out of town.Food is decent, it’s average, it’s good! It’s what you expect, it’s about the atmosphere and they definitely set it! Really fast paced and fun environment to be around.“

“Luckily found this place last minute. They took us in at 9 and told us kitchen was closing in 5 min. which was fine for us.Food was very tasty. Couple things I would comment on for improvement. They sent out an appetizer along with the food without even acknowledging it. Also I asked for hot sauce and they brought out store bought sauce that did not go with the dish. I wish that they had a homemade spicy sauce that would compliment the dish. But aside from that everything else was good and would definitely eat there again.Street Parking could be a bit tough depending on time.“

“I had a craving for pancakes! I went to get some and although they were large they were underdone. I ate them unhappily but called server over and asked if I could get one small cake cooked longer so there is "crust' for lack of a better term. She got me one and was told to tell me, "next time order them we'll done." Guess who will never go back again for terrible pancakes. Will go to a restaurant that knows how to make pancakes. That being said, they still have one of the best breakfasts in town.“

“We've had brunch before at 8Eleven, but dinner raises the bar. This is high end food at a (relatively) mid range price. The meatless mushroom bolognese was exceptional and the special sea bass was as good as it gets. Presentation is beautiful and shows thought for the dishes. Total bill for three main with one drink was $125, which is a steal for food of this quality. Service was professional and relaxed.“

“Came in a little late so wasn't busy at all . Sat outside because it was such a nice night . Server was very kind and didn't rush us even though we were prob her last table . She was quick and great at filling our drinks . Food was very good , I was nervous about getting a full rack of ribs but they honestly did not disappoint! Fell right off the bone , BBQ sauce was perfect . Huge portions ,you deff get your money's worth . The rest of the table got burgers and my kiddo got the chicken wings which were a lot bigger then expected . Everyone took left overs home . Huge place ,tables seem spaced out well ,love the massive fire place ,gives me ski lodge vibes back home in New England ! Deff will be back ! You guys have a great salad selection so I will deff be trying one of those next ! Great experience for us and we will deff be back ! Oh and might I add LOVED the fried mushrooms ! “Excellent Restaurant! The food here was good. I order a BLT and Soup. The sandwich was quality made and tasted very good and flavorful. The soup was just as good. The pricing was surprisingly affordable given that the food was really good a quality. The service was great too and accommodating. I definitely recommend coming here weather its to drink or eat.“

“A classic brick walled bar, with ample TV's to scratch your sports-itch. The menu has standard pub fare, but where it stands apart are the healthy options scattered throughout. Kale crunch salad was the the SO's choice and it was fresh and crisp with generous mix-ins of cranberries, seeds, brussels sprouts and more- An order of wings in the (spicy) buffalo sauce made the tasty drinks go down easy. We will definitely be back!“

“The ambiance at the bar and in the dining area is very chill. Dim lighting, quiet and visually appealing. The food was pretty dang good. My house salad was amazing. It came out with my dinner as requested. They have Coke products on fountain. The bourbon selection was extensive, there is a BINDER of choices. The bartender was extremely knowledgeable about the bourbons. The second bartender was extremely pleasant, he took my order and it was nice seeing them work together. It seemed that everyone there enjoyed their jobs. I'll eat here every time I'm staying here. There are many nearby choices, but with friendly people, good food, and a calm environment, why would I even leave?“

“This place had mixed reviews but as always we are willing to try anyway, We were passing thru and decided to give it a shot. I had the all you can eat Perch with the Sweetheart Cheesecake. My wife had the Prime Burger Sliders and we both had the $ 2 mini beers. The staff here is totally amazing and friendly. Service was fast and efficient. We also had a dinner carryout as well. The people here really make you feel at home. Great atmosphere, I would recommended TICK TOCK for all party's. They have a large menu. The owner was very cordial. The place is non smoking which makes it even more attractive. If you do not try this place and the food, you are definitely missing out.“

“Went here for the first time during Greater Lafayette Restaurant week 2024. We had the glazed honey balsamic chicken dinner, and it was wonderful. The deserts were also great. The service was very good, and it had a wonderful atmosphere for a quiet dinner with friends. Definitely need to make a reservation as seating is limited. We will be back! They have a full menu on their website. You will need to tell them your order before you arrive. (I think they asked for it before noon the day of your visit when making the reservation.)“

“My last visit was the first time I was ever upset with Cracker Barrel. I downloaded the app and it said that I got free barrel bites. At the end of my meal I was checking out and I showed the girl my phone and said that I was to get free barrel bites. She said she took it off of my bill but I still had to pay $28 just for myself. It turns out she didn’t remove them from my bill.“

“We went to Mountain Jacks for a birthday dinner. The service was wonderful! I had the prime rib. It was perfectly cooked and melted in my mouth. The crab stuffed mushrooms were very good as well. For dessert we had the mud pie and it was yummy. I highly recommend Mountain Jacks.“

“I used the pickup feature of the online ordering service. Everything went smoothly and the food was prepared as requested. As expected, it tasted phenominal as well. “03/04/24- I want to give Crissa a big shout out! My wife and I stopped by for lunch and Crissa was on duty. It was busy, especially outside.We walked in and the bar tender told us Crissa would be with us. You can pick your own table. There are seats at the bar or restaurant. We sat in the restaurant section.Crissa came over and went over the beers ? and alcohol. I was pleased with the service as she did a great job sharing her knowledge. I enjoyed hearing about the drinks. To bad I am diabetic.Crissa took our food order and she kept checking on us throughout our meal. We did not feel we were left unattended.The food was delicious! “Nice mom n pop dinner. Aaa staff, very friendly and doing a fine job. The coffee was solid. Pass on the omelets if you are looking for the fluffy full omelets.also the biscuits were disappointing, though I was meatless and so no gravy. While there are vegetarian options it is clearly not what they focus on. Apparently the bacon is great and the chicken fried steaks. Will come back to try some of their other options. I just don't think this place has me in mind during lent.“

“Nice, fancy place for an affordable lunch date with my wife! Of course, since it's run by the school, it's sort of like eating someone else's lab or homework, but I didn't mind. 3 course meal at a nice sit-down place for around $15 on campus--great deal. Check the menu online before you go, and the hours are short so make sure you get there in time. Website says reservations recommended but we've never had trouble just walking in.“

“when I want breakfast in afternoon or for dinner I call for carry out. my food has always been hot and right never taken but 10 minutes to make. Going in get food it's always friendly people eating drinking never seen any one having problems. for that part of town you wouldnt think Linwood to be as peaceful, comfortable, and always w pleasure.“
