First time coming here, and it was magnificent! Our server, Joel, was wonderfully kind and swift, and the food was wonderful! The music was the perfect degree of not super distracting too, but was honestly super vibey. Highly recommend the lobster bisque, super super creamy and tasted fresh (or fresh enough to confuse my coastal palate.)
Visited for the first time to celebrate an anniversary. Service from the staff was excellent. It’s a small place, so definitely be sure to have reservations for busy times.
The shrimp cocktail was delicious and the sauce had great flavor. Steaks were not anything special, but they were delicious nonetheless. Enjoyed their dessert and drink options as well!

Charred Steakhouse & Bourbon Bar is a relatively small but cozy restaurant. The service is great, very professional and friendly. The steaks are outstanding and delicious, though the appearance of the dry aged steak was not very good. The shrimp cocktail is delicious and the sauce has great flavor. The lobster bisque is super super creamy and tasted fresh. The scallops are the best in the Carmel City center, and the mac n cheese with the bacon is DELICIOUS. The lamb chops are so good the plate was licked clean. The drinks are high quality and the dessert and drink options are enjoyable. The sides, Robuchon potatoes and vegetables, are ok. The carrot cake must have been the smallest slice of carrot cake ever served. The music was the perfect degree of not super distracting. It is recommended to have reservations for busy times, as seating is limited. Charred just opened eight days ago, but they seem to have things figured out.
