“The food and treats are delicious but pricy. The best option they offer is the chicken strip basket with Texas toast and sawmill gravy. Delicious. Never disappointed with this meal. The sandwiches are good but a little pricy. The treats like blizzards, Dilly bars and the such are costly. You could easily buy your own ice cream at the grocery store with the optional toppings for what you will pay for two large blizzards. Their treats will set you back some coin.“

Both were fantastic — juicy, well-seasoned, and honestly better than anything else we’ve found around Indy. The folks at the counter were super friendly too, made us feel right at home. We’ll definitely be back to try their burgers next.“

“USUALLY great place. Great food and great employees BUT July 4th about 6:00pm. My wife and I ordered: 1 Impossible Whopper, tasted OLD not fresh at all. Mozzarella Sticks, did you change breading ? Looks and tastes terrible. Chicken Sandwich DLX, tasted old, breading hard, and chicken dry. Didn't order any drinks. FYI...... BK's double cheeseburgers USED to be best sandwich anyplace, but now, Two thick little patties on a little bun! Not sure how you did it but it sucks! “I’ve visited this specific steak n shake location for over 30 years. The service was off and on for a long time. It had a run, as most steak and shakes did at the time, where it was the worst service imaginable. I would drive by a sign in the drive thru that said “we cook your food fresh to order” on my 25 min wait to pick up cold french fries.

Over the past few years this location has seen such drastic improvements. The service is always fast, the people friendly, and the food hot and delicious. Big thumbs up to whoever currently owns this location.“

There is an extremely polite young man, with some frosting near his forehead, who has waited on me both times. This evening I had my walker. “We didn't Valentine's Day event at White Castle (aka Love Castle as it's called that day). It was outstanding. Our table was ready and decorated. The managers acted as servers and came to our table and got us drinks and took our orders and served us. The managers looked like they were enjoying their time, too, as they were smiling and jovial.
