“Doug was patient, cordial, very attentive. My mom, 96, has not been out for a meal in 5 yrs. Doug made this a pleasant experience for the 4 of us. “We went to Johns in Dyer and had a fabulous experience. We went for my birthday. 4 adults and eight grandchildren. The food was amazing and the service was awesome and the boys making the pizzas were so nice to the kids. The kids were watching through the window and the cooks were interacting with the kids. They had a blast and are already talking about how they want to go back. We will be definitely visiting Johns soon! “We ordered two family size pizzas from Beggars Pizza and they were fantastic. One was sausage, pepperoni, and jalapeño (crispy), and the other was sausage (crispy). Both pizzas were cooked perfectly; crispy crust, well-balanced toppings, and great flavor in every bite. Everything tasted fresh and was done just right. We were very happy with our order and will definitely be ordering again!“

“I didn't order any food when I recently visited Spanky's - a bar and grill located in a small strip mall located at 15213 101st Ave. in Dyer, Indiana. I had a few drinks, served by the very kind bartenders, and really enjoyed the live music with my friends and family! You can smoke in the bar, but it is pretty well venhilated, according to my non-smoking friends. There is a decent sized stage, plenty of space to sit at at the bar or at the tables in front of the stage, and there wasn't a wait for the bathrooms. There were three stalls available in the ladies room, which were clean, and it was nice not having to wait! Prices for the drinks were very reasonable. If music isn't your thing, there were plenty of TV's to watch - showing the news, gameshows, and sports games. I had an awesome time, they had amazing musicians, and I look forward to going back soon!

Parking: Because the bar is located within a strip club, parking can be limited. There are signs in front of the businesses that state only customers for that business can park there. There IS free, additional parking located behind the strip mall, though.

Kid-friendliness: This is a bar that features adult music. You might just want to leave the children at home with a baby sitter if you're going late!

Wheelchair accessibility: There are parking spots for disabled individuals. Those with wheelchairs shouldn't have much trouble navigating the single level bar.“

“I’ve seen a lot of good reviews about this spot and they did not disappoint at all. Very good pizza, to be honest some of the best I’ve had in this area. Perfect crust with good texture and bite with an amazing crunch at the end. Fresh toppings and perfectly browned cheese. Got a large sausage and pepperoni with half green pepper and onion and they load it up. The sauce is more of a savory sauce which pairs perfectly with the saltiness of the proteins and sweetness of the veggies. Will absolutely be back for more. 10/10 for me !!!!!“

“Rosati’s is our favorite pizza in the area. The food is always delicious, and we have tried a lot from their menu. I have never had an issue with any of my orders. Tonight I ordered 2 pizzas, an appetizer and an extra side of ranch. My order was missing the ranch, which was not a big deal to me at all. About 30 minutes after I got home, I received a call from Amy apologizing for not including the ranch. All the workers there are so nice, but that took their customer service over the top! Thank you Schererville Rosati’s!! You guys are awesome!“

“Me and my lady coming in from the big city of Chicago and decided to try Jets for the first time! Talk to the manager Jay over the phone about details. He stated in conversation that the Detroit eight corner was the most popular! I decided to get the eight corner veggie with extra veggies and well done! It was fantastic! “We were greeted quite rudely by Lisa, the hostess, which set a negative tone from the start. She was even rude to the waitresses while seating us, and we couldn’t believe the attitude. We remember Kathy months ago being a pleasure but haven't seen her last few weeks.

However, once we were greeted by Heather, Courtney, and Hannah, everything changed. They were warm, friendly, and truly a pleasure. Their professionalism and positivity completely turned the evening around and made our experience enjoyable — a real tour de force.

Thank you, ladies, for making our night special. We will definitely ask for you next time.

“I have ordered Rosati's pizza delivery many times. Delivery was excellent however our pizza tonight was definitely not up to the regular standards. The crust was soggy, it was light on sauce, and could have cooked a few minutes more. I will continue to order Rosati pizza as I feel it is the best in the area. Maybe just a difficult night for the cook.“

“I have eaten this pizza since I was a little kid. It’s the same!! I’m so happy! It’s so cool to eat something that you grew up eating. The Barton’s crust is very specific and delicious. I love their cheese. My kids like it now so I get to eat it all the time. They have excellent cheese bread too. And even though we don’t eat meat anymore the meat eaters around have said that their sausage tastes the same too. I remember exactly what it tastes like! lol. Try it!“

“Their Detroit crust style pizza is thick and crispy. Order "4-corner" for a small or "8-corner" for the large. All other crust styles are available in all sizes, including a medium. Ordered our choice of veggies with traditional pizza sauce & no cheese. Very Good.“

“Best small town business ever! Kind caring family. My 103 year old Dad who is almost deaf, vision impaired with speech problems from a stroke just calls Villa and says “I want a pizza!” And they know who he is, what kind of pizza he wants and where he lives! And they take his check no matter how illegible it is! Great people, (Cheryl you are the best!) great food and so many good memories! Don’t miss this place especially the pizza and Italian beef sandwiches dipped, of course. Their veggie pizza is great also“
