“Came down to Louisville for my brother's birthday, and since we're self-proclaimed pizza aficionados, we chose to try this establishment after watching a more than convincing vid from a Louisville Youtuber on their deep dish pizza. It was pretty busy for an early Sunday afternoon and bustling with families. The decor is 1970s to a tee with lots of dark brown accents, but didn't appear to be "run-down" or "smelly" as other reviews indicated. We chose their deep dish pizza or how they refer to it as "pie" baked in a cast iron frying pan. It takes about an hour to cook so we ordered ahead and we forgot until we arrived that it's cash-only. It was a unique tasting pizza unlike any deep dish I've had before. I liked the mixing of all of the flavors from bite one, although the combination of veggies watered things down quite a bit. It didn't come pre-sliced which was disappointing as I'm not much of a pie cutter, and it made a kind of a mess as the crust is very thick and dense. Don't expect a buttery and flaky crust as it requires such a dough consistency to bake and hold everything together in the first place. I personally wasn't a fan of the crust, although my brother was. I would've preferred it softer so it could be easier to cut and have a mouthful of both the pizza contests and crust at the same time. I ended up scooping the contents from the pizza and leaving the crust alone. I would've liked to have tried their thin-crust as well, but was way too full. Maybe next time if we're ever down in Louisville again.“

“I just played RCPL free poker here. They play here every day. It's a fun atmosphere, and since it's free, a good time with only your drinks as a cost. If you play you should support the venue so they keep giving us a place to play, oh and tip your dealers if you can.“

“Way way way.... overpriced! The toppings were great but the dough was not. 2-3× the cost of frozen and not as good as Degiorno. Friendly worker. Oh and the Cinnamon Monkey bread was amazing.Wheelchair accessibility: The wheelchair ramp is actually blocked by the permanent concrete posts which was wierd.. I was pushing someone in a wheelchair and had to lift her up the curb“

“I've been coming to Annie's when it close to Ralph Ave so a long time . Your pizza is the only pizza I can eat with only 1 topping the rest of the pizza joints I order a Supreme pizza. The cheese, sauce and toppings are delicious that sauce is fire. Annie's is the GOAT of the pizza sauce game!!“

“We chose this place when traveling from out of town. It was so delicious! I had a ham and cheese sub and the others had pizza. We also tried the cheese bread. Everything was so good and fresh. The bread on my sandwich was so good. Highly recommend!“

“This was my first visit to the Derby City location and from a pizza perspective it was so much better than the location near me at Plainview / Linn Station Rd. I was with a large group and got to sample several toppings, and every pizza was crispy and flavorful. (I'm quite jealous that Plainview can't match this consistency: my husband and I would never describe what we've had as crispy, sometimes mushy.) My group got to experience the private room. It was a nice size for our group of 70+ people with plenty of tables and chair space. We also had room at the front of the room and ideally we would have had tables there to place the various pizzas. (They were advised to put them on tables and people mingled to grab what they wanted) The space allowed us to get a group picture and a couple of TVs were placed there to watch sports games. The primary complaint was the noise level. The walls and floor are concrete so it got really loud, really fast and this was made worse with the added music piped in. I visited the bar inside the restaurant a few times for beers. The ladies behind the bar were friendly and fast, keeping our tab accurate. There's several tables for guests in the main restaurant. It's a combination of high tops and standard tables. Volume was loud in there too, plus karaoke later in the evening. I got the sense several of the guests were regulars. Parking is tight, especially for those driving huge trucks or being forced to park next to them.“

“Food was ok. Since I can not write a review about the slot machines on their other website, I can air it here. The atmosphere is nice. But there's no " cha- ching" about their slots games. They're very tight. I didn't win and I looked around nobody did “
