“My wife’s favorite meal is breakfast. This Saturday morning I decided to try the Caffeinated Cook in Ellettsville. She loved the place. I had a scone and orange juice. She had the same. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive without being overbearing — they really make you feel like a regular, even on your first visit.

The food is outstanding — everything was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The wings were some of the best I’ve ever had, and the burger was cooked to perfection. They’ve got a great drink selection too, including local brews and some creative cocktails.

Whether you’re here for a casual dinner, a night out with friends, or just to grab a drink and watch the game, Kenny’s Tavern hits the mark every time.

“I love stopping in when I want to treat myself. I love the variety of drink options they offer; the coffee is never burnt or bitter tasting and I love the strawberry or blood orange freeze drinks. The food is served hot and the muffins are fresh. The staff answers my questions and will ask what I enjoy, then make recommendations. “Two Stick's is an absolute treat. I was introduced to it by a colleague, and dropped in once to try it- and let me tell you, it was totally worth it! I am not a morning person, but I find myself planning early morning visits just to see what new menu item I can try. I don't prefer sweet menu items (and my colleague who got some sweet orders wasn't a fan), but the savoury items absolutely kick ass. Their Zucchini Pumpkin Goat Cheese Hand Pies are an delicious experience with every bite, and the fun part is you get to see them making more in the back. While I did mention the smaller sweet items (either too sweet or bready for my personal taste but still get over by 9am on working days) were not that good, their whole cakes (non slice versions) are really worth trying. I do not have photos to add to my review right now (because everything gets over too soon) but I'm planning to visit again soon (for those amazing hand pies) and will try to get some shots on here.

Service is friendly and as fast as 2 counters can accommodate, so you won't find yourself in a line for longer than 10 minutes if you're lucky.”

“Beautiful, spacious modern decor. Impressed by the esthetic from the moment of entering. Food was excellent. Got the baby beet salad. Very good, but I think the beets (fewer perhaps) should’ve been chopped into smaller pieces with more strawberries and greenery. Very filling. I had the roasted eggplant for my entree. Wonderfully seasoned, served over a bed of white rice. I would definitely get it again. My desert choice was the blueberry cheesecake. Scrumptious! The staff was very friendly and efficient. Will definitely go back. Nice outdoor patio area as well. Thumbs up!”

“Came for the IU Football watch party, was pleased by the friendly service, great pizza (vegan options available), and good beer.

Although we arrived kinda late and all the seats were full, the waitress brought out a folding table and still accommodated us. It's very refreshing to get friendly and welcoming service in a college town bar.

The venue is spacious and clean. There are a few arcade games as well. Felt like a family-friendly environment yet also trendy with nice vibes. We enjoyed our experience!”

“I was at Jit's for the first time this evening. My wife had been there a couple times before with a group of lady friends and had talked about how good the food was. To be honest, I was a little unsure beforehand as I had often heard about Thai food being hot. I had the rotisserie chicken fried rice (mild verson) and it was fantastic. The waiter was excellent, kept us in drinks, was courteous and the meal was ready in short order. I give it an A+ rating and will plan on going back on a regular basis. The servings were large....brought home nearly half the amount served so will get two meals.”
