Why are those closer parking spots for the staff and not for customers? I find that strange. The staff I see parking close seem to walk just fine and are not loading items. They just seem to be leaving for the night. Please designate the closer parking spots for customers and not just for staff and waiters only. Thank you.”

The spicy BBQ isn't spicy at all, but boy, was it flavorful! Service was quick and yo the point, and that's how I like it when going to a place such as this.”

They also have phenomenal sandwiches and everyone should try the Fireballs appetizer. They are hot and soft doughballs topped with hot honey, bacon, and jalapeños. You will thank me.

“I've been a patron of Hacienda on First Avenue in Evansville IN for43 years! This restaurant is as close to authentic Mexican cuisine in Evansville, in my opinion.
The only reason for the 4-star rating for the atmosphere is that I prefer smaller or cozy dining areas. Being older in age, dining with families with children is difficult for my husband and I to have a conversation.
We usually start our meal with a fountain drink and chili con queso. The chips are thin and lightly salted. They are sturdy enough for the cheese dip, however. They offer two sizes of dip, a cup, or a bowl. This is nice based on what your entree will be.
We are creatures of habit with regard to our meal choices, but we always look at the wide variety of appetizers, salads, and entrées. Hacienda offers new menu items often, which our daughter enjoys trying. She has never been dissaentrée.
I highly recommend this restaurant on First Avenue as well as the east side location

Katie and the rest of the crew went above and beyond to quicly set up the private room and accommodate our 25 guests. I don't believe there is another restaurant in town that would have pulled this off for us, and Smitty's staff did it with grace and good humor. As always, the food and service were outstanding. I had approx 20 people five or take I told them on the phone that morning.. they finally got 2 sets of 2 tables that comfortably was set up in the main dining room as 4 to table they crammed 10 chairs to these tables.. when I asked for another set of tables to be cleaned our server wouldn’t speak to me but rolled her eyes so I went to talk to someone else.. when they approached her with me she told me that she was my server. And she still has not started cleaning tables instead she told me there were 20 chairs total at those tables.. I had to get upset and told her we were crammed and everyone unhappy and told her I wanted 2 more tables cleaned.. PLEASE!!! Finally she did with an attitude and goin so slow like it killed her.. she was prob 25yr old .. then she sat out on her phone and I had to get up and get her if we needed drinks or anything. It would been a great night if had a good server.”

“The bowls, salads, and wraps are delicious! (my favorites are Squash Goals, Bold & Buffalo ( bowl or wrap but w/ white cheddar as I dont like blue cheeze) & the Wild Child. They are easy to customize (if change cheese, dressing etc) and always full of flavor! I'm so happy we have this in Evansville and visit frequently 😋 definitely a new favorite! And don't forget a Frescas!! 🤤 Pineapple Ginger & Pomegranate Lemon definitely my favorites so far”
“My husband and I tried Samuel's for the first time over the weekend. Our entire meal from smash burger, truffle fries and peach cobbler cheesecake was amazing 👏.
