This DQ just feels different when you are there. Service and food quality is consistently good, which is why I drive across town and past two dozen or more restaurants to dine here. Well, and the sundaes, Blizzards, and other ice cream treats keep me coming back, to!
Great blizzards
One of the best DQs I have visited! They greet you when you come in and actually acknowledge that you are there as a paying consumer. Food is proper temperature and not a long wait, staff has always been excellent each time I have visited...Thank you, 1st Avenue Dairy Queen of Evansville, Indiana!!

Dairy Queen Grill & Chill offers good food, but there have been instances where custom orders were ignored, leading to incorrect meals. The staff, mostly young kids, can be a bit rude at times. It is advisable to double-check your order before leaving. Despite simple requests, like a cheeseburger with only pickles and mayo, mistakes can happen, resulting in cold fries and melted ice cream. Quick corrections were made but affected the overall dining experience. It is recommended to be cautious when dining in or taking out from this restaurant.
