“I usually order Pollo al Chipotle which is always delicious today I tried the lunch portion of Carne Asada. The meal includes refried beans and rice and the skirt steak comes on a bed of grilled onions, a grilled jalapeno pepper and warm tortillas. The skirt steak was tough and fatty with little to no seasoning. This was my first carne asada so I have nothing to compare the flavor too. Also this was lunch so maybe the dinner portion, being twice the price and size may be more flavorful. I've only had delicious meals here so maybe this was an anomaly or my lack of experience with the dish but I wouldn't order this again. Everyone is friendly, the restaurant is always spotless and I'm always going to be a returning customer.“

“Worst place ever I went with my friend and they did not take care of us because we are Latinos we waited 15 minutes and they only brought some chips and then when I was leaving I had to pay 25 dollars for the chips.“

“So we arrived at the airport and on our way to Indiana we stopped for a quick bite. No one greeted us or helped with the order. They stayed in the back and did not even acknowledge us. Mind y'all, I'm old and ot very computer savvy, I proceed to make my order on the monitor thingy and took forever. Food was good tho!!!“

“Came here for a Christmas dinner with 2 close girlfriends. This place is absolutely beautiful. My friend saw the mural on the exterior of the building from a block away as I exclaimed, “that’s where we are going!” The food was exquisite. Presentation was a notch above. From the drinks, to the appetizer to the main course, all of the food was SO good! Decor throughout is so fun and modern, for sure. Service was top notch. Loved our experience here! We’ll be back.“

“I previously would recommend this restraunt but Friday evening after I had finished my meal and waiting to pay the check a roach crawled on the table. The waitress was more upset than the manager who I felt should have personally came to the table and addressed the issue. He took 20% off the bill but didn't address the fact a roach crawled on the table, which to me says this wasn't the first incident. I will bit be eatting here in the future and thus restraunt definitely needs an inspection.“

“This is the BEST Mexican restaurant in the region! Generous portions, fair prices and authentic choices that cater to a wide array of palates. Have gone here for several years now and never disappointed. The staff is always friendly and expeditious. Recently had a carne asada torta and tried their pozole rojo. The torta was massive and properly assembled. The steak was perfectly seasoned and grilled as always. Only regret not having gotten a lengua torta. Found out after ordering they recently put lengua back in rotation. The pozole was rich, flavorful and full of large cuts of tender pork. Enough for at least two meals worth. If you’ve never been, what are you waiting for?? Give this place a try“

“My husband told our server he’s been ordering burritos for over 40 years and this is probably the best he’s ever had. We both had a burrito & margaritas and it was fantastic. We can’t wait to go back.“

“I was in the area for work, and this place comes up on some lists for best burger, but they have other food including burritos. I ordered one, and they put what I wanted in it, and it rivals LaBamba's in Indianapolis for being as big as your head. You'll want a fork and knife to eat it.

It was delicious. Toppings were fresh and plentiful in variety and what they put in the burrito. I got the meal which comes with a side and drink. You could get a big bag of nachos or fries to go with it, and I went with fries. They can put salt, or several other flavors on them, and I chose cheese (I believe they call it queso) which was good, but wasn't what I would chose for fries. The drink is a rather large fountain drink, although they had run out of diet while I was there, so they gave me a 16oz bottle of Diet Coke.

Service was great. Both people working were friendly and helpful. I'm not 100% sure why this place gets so many 1 star ratings, but I saw no logical reason for them in my visit.

Since my work brings me to the area once every month or two, I'll have to drop by to try the burgers and nachos sometime later. Would highly recommend.

I did give Atmosphere 3 stars, but that was because their dining room was not open when I was there, and I sat in the mall area.“

“The food was very delicious. Also the portions were larger than I was expecting. I ordered 3 baliadas but I could only eat 1 and a half and I asked for a box. Customer service was excellent. “I almost felt like I was in Mexico. The food tasted good. The tacos were 2.50 or 3.99 depending on what kind. We were told that they had the best tamales but we didn't even try them. My husband had chicken fajitas and I had a asada quesadilla plate. Our bill including a generous tip was less than $30. They had coke with real sugar, horchata, jarritos, and many other drinks. They had a kids menu and you could even get French Fries. The service was good despite the fact that the waitress was very overworked. She seemed to be the main translator for the men who worked there. In addition to being a restaurant it is also a tienda or store so you could buy lots of things that you wouldn't see in an typical Mexican restaurant. The booths were all carved and beautiful and the decor was definitely Mexican. There was outside dining but it was too hot out there and plenty of booths. They had a kids menu and booster chairs and it was a very good experience.“

“I travel a lot and am a Mexican food nerd, and this was not only the best food I had in Louisville, it ranks as some of the best Mexican food spots I’ve been to in a long time (and went back as my final meal in time before flying out). The carnitas were killer, the guacamole super fresh and the jalapeño margaritas dangerously good. The fish tacos were beautifully seasoned with a big generous piece of fish. And the spot was incredibly cleans and everyone so friendly. Please give this place a shot.“

“Fantastic! We had just arrived at the airport and noticed this restaurant while looking for a motel. It was 10 minutes until closing, and we were graciously welcomed to come in even though it was obvious the staff would be held over to serve us. The food was served quickly and was very delicious. Our waitress helped us locate lodging and gave directions how to find it. If we lived in Louisville, this restaurant would see us on a regular basis. Very impressed…5-star rating!!!“

Be forewarned that the bar half of the business seems to be an after-work favorite hangout for people to have a couple beers and unwind, so the game room/bar area on the left can get a bit raucous, and the music they play is LOUD (at least the day we went - that won’t keep us away though)!
Don’t skip it because of this and miss out on the food, though — consider doing carryout if you’re not a loud music person.“

I got the mulitas de pollo and omg… YUM!!! The tortilla/bread was so soft and fresh. The chicken was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Hubby is so basic and got the tacos de asada, but they were delicious too! Tender, flavorful steak! Everything was delicious! “My review is for the food truck, not the dine in restaurant. The guy who runs the truck is very friendly and a great cook. The street tacos are delicious. Also, as a dasher, I always have pickups from the truck. No matter how busy he is, the food is always ready on time. Definitely one of my fave Mexican carry out spots.“

Over the weekend we were looking for a place to eat and I seen a photo of their Facebook page and wanted to know what the name of the dish was. I got a response almost immediately after sending the message. Besides just the name they detailed exactly what the dish had in it. Couldn’t ask for better customer service. That evening my family and I ordered quite a few dishes and it was all amazing. The Chilaquiles were so good, and honestly my new favorite thing to eat. Lol The Al Pastor Torta was also very good. “I've done takeout from here a few times but finally decided to done in on one of my off days. The chips, salsa, and queso were all good and pretty much what you would expect from just about anywhere.

I got the tacos al pastor, and to say these tacos were some of the best I've ever had would not be an overstatement. The chicken was perfectly cooked and seasoned, the toppings were perfect, and three tacos were enough to fill me up. The sauce that came with it was divine!

The service was great as well. I got drink refills in a very timely manner, and everyone was very polite.“
