“Flamingos has been in town for a long time. Nice little cozy place. A good perch dinner. We like a thin crust pepperoni pizza. The flavor of the pizza dough reminds me of Onos which was one of the Best pizza places, that has a Great flavor to it that you can not find anywhere. The cheese is stretchy when hot. Good flavor! “We randomly stopped here on our way home for a quick bite to eat and to avoid Chicago rush hour. We ordered the Italian beef. Let me just say IT DOES NOT DISAPPOINT! It was super yummy! I spoke with a cook and they cook it overnight. Our server Mandy was friendly and took good care of us. Food was great and cheap compared to many other places. The atmosphere was laid back. I definitely would come back again just to eat. Seriously, if you want good food or a good sandwich. Stop and get their Italian beef!“

“Came in and the place was completely empty, sign said "seat yourselves" it felt kind of awkward but someone came out to greet us a few seconds later. Staff was super friendly and nice! I brought my grandmother and she wanted to split her meal with someone who wasn't able to come to the restaurant in person, so they brought out half of her meal and waited until we were almost done with the other half freshly made and packaged! Lake perch was great! Not like other restaurants that try to serve ocean perch as lake perch. The Nashville hot chicken strips were a little disappointing they didn't have any heat to them, but the chicken was cooked perfectly and the breading was really good so it made up for it! Mac n cheese was delicious, I was even impressed with the fries! None of them were soggy or over salted! I'm sad I couldn't have tried them sooner!“

“A simple no-frills local bar & grill, they have good burgers and lots of TVs. A classic neighborhood watering hole.
Vegetarian options: There is one salad - I would look elsewhere
Kid-friendliness: This is a bar. I don't think it is good for kids
Parking: A decent sized lot right next to the place
Dietary restrictions: Menu is limited but staff is fairly flexible as everything is cooked to order“
“I've known the owner, Santa, since she was 4 yrs. Old.....Even though I don't drink alcohol, and the strongest drink I'd have would be a coca cola or Pepsi, I occasionally would stop in to say Hello to my good friend Santa !!!“

“I called to ask about having a birthday party on short notice for my son’s 30th and during the holiday weekend and received a call from the owner letting me know it wouldn’t be a problem at all! I could bring my own food and decorate and he would have a DJ for the night. All the staff were very helpful and accommodating for anything we needed! Service was exceptional at the bar! My family and friends complimented the establishment as soon as they walked in the doors. We look forward to future gatherings or parties here for sure! It was a wonderful evening had by all!“

“I cannot say enough great things about the service and food! I usually go on Sundays for wings and a beer 🍺. The service is great! I only get wings at Cagney's! They are AMAZING! And I always give a tip over 20% because the food and the service are definitely worth it!“
