“They don't make them like this anymore - literally. The building housing this small tavern in tiny Gosport was built in 1835. It's definitely not fancy, and much of the decor looks original. It does feature a very nice old wooden bar. The bar food was simple but very well prepared.”

“I was at Jit's for the first time this evening. My wife had been there a couple times before with a group of lady friends and had talked about how good the food was. To be honest, I was a little unsure beforehand as I had often heard about Thai food being hot. I had the rotisserie chicken fried rice (mild verson) and it was fantastic. The waiter was excellent, kept us in drinks, was courteous and the meal was ready in short order. I give it an A+ rating and will plan on going back on a regular basis. The servings were large....brought home nearly half the amount served so will get two meals.”

“I love coming here in the morning to get coffee and a scone (lemon blueberry and cinnamon are favorites) or for lunch. Every soup, sandwich, and salad I have eaten have been excellent. I don't know where they get their tomatoes but they are some of the best I've ever eaten!”

“I took a couple of friends there yesterday and we all were very happy. One ordered 1/4 chicken, another got the ground sirloin steak with onions and mushrooms. I got the ham. The sides are wonderful, especially the green beans, excellent! My wife was in Texas but I told her that when we get moved back to Bloomington next month, we'll patronize these folks again. The couple and I have been there before, many times and never had a complaint. Their food is always good, no complaints. I enjoy the decor also. We also had a very acomadating waitress, sorry, I forgot her name. We'll be back.”

“Danelle and her team at Jiffy Treat West made custom boxes of ice cream for our company retreat! 8 boxes of different flavors each packaged in their own sample size for a team of 12! It was amazing!!! Cannot recommend them enough. Thank you, Jiffy Treat West!”

This restaurant needs to become a member of those services.

“The new owners rock! 100% improvement from last owners. Buffet is awesome!! They keep the pizza coming and the salad bar is great. I have been there more in the last 2 months than I had ever been there. The people who work there are so friendly! I always tell people how great it is! Keep up the good work.”

“This is a super clean store and they have a great variety of things. However, my favorite thing is the fried chicken. It's the freaking BEST! The people who run this place are the kindest people I have encountered in a long time. Truly wonderful people, truly wonderful food!”
