“They don't make them like this anymore - literally. The building housing this small tavern in tiny Gosport was built in 1835. It's definitely not fancy, and much of the decor looks original. It does feature a very nice old wooden bar. The bar food was simple but very well prepared.”

“Very small & cozy place with fabulous food! Variety of things you just don’t see in every coffee shop. I can’t wait to go back for another pistachio scone - oh my word, I want one now!!!! The avocado toast was perfect and the coffee was hot and delicious w/bold flavor. Don’t miss this place, worth the drive!”

“I was at Jit's for the first time this evening. My wife had been there a couple times before with a group of lady friends and had talked about how good the food was. To be honest, I was a little unsure beforehand as I had often heard about Thai food being hot. I had the rotisserie chicken fried rice (mild verson) and it was fantastic. The waiter was excellent, kept us in drinks, was courteous and the meal was ready in short order. I give it an A+ rating and will plan on going back on a regular basis. The servings were large....brought home nearly half the amount served so will get two meals.”

“I ordered a pizza and breadsticks for our race team and picked it up on the way to the racetrack down the road. The food was SOOOO hot, fresh, and delicious! The shop was slammed, yet they didn’t lack on quality or kindness! From the call to order to pick up, everyone was beyond friendly and polite. I will go out of my way to get pizza from here more often!! 🤤”

“I took a couple of friends there yesterday and we all were very happy. One ordered 1/4 chicken, another got the ground sirloin steak with onions and mushrooms. I got the ham. The sides are wonderful, especially the green beans, excellent! My wife was in Texas but I told her that when we get moved back to Bloomington next month, we'll patronize these folks again. The couple and I have been there before, many times and never had a complaint. Their food is always good, no complaints. I enjoy the decor also. We also had a very acomadating waitress, sorry, I forgot her name. We'll be back.”

“The new owners rock! 100% improvement from last owners. Buffet is awesome!! They keep the pizza coming and the salad bar is great. I have been there more in the last 2 months than I had ever been there. The people who work there are so friendly! I always tell people how great it is! Keep up the good work.”

“I seen it! Mom did take her teeth out! But that cramp in her neck was debilitating and caused her to not eat as much as she wanted. I know I had to eat as much as I could because they are close on Monday!”

“This is the first time I visited the Village Inn since they moved from their old building. I must say, it was a pleasant experience. There was a line at the door before they opened and we were maybe 6 or 8 people back from the door. Regardless of the fair amount of people there, our server was ON IT. Service was quick, friendly and the atmosphere was nice and clean. The food was also very good, and not super expensive. I'd recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice diner without a lot of pretense.”

“This place is worth the visit if you are in the area. We like to try non chain restaurants wherever we go. This diner was great. The diner itself was clean, the seating comfortable, and the decor looked new if not well taken care of. Service was fast and pleasant. Food was good. I can recommend the tenderloin or the Reuben sandwich.”

“This little bakery has been such a pleasant addition to the community! We’ve visited here several times now and we’ve loved everything we’ve gotten. Their gluten free pizza is to die for!! Also their gluten free fruit pizza cookies are my fav as well. They make fresh options daily and the owners are so kind and friendly. Truly a wonderful little place!”

“The Food !!! I recommended the food. Prices aren't bad either. With the sandwiches you can either get 2 sides or 1 side and a drink. I only ate half a sandwich and half of the fries and I was full !”

“This is a super clean store and they have a great variety of things. However, my favorite thing is the fried chicken. It's the freaking BEST! The people who run this place are the kindest people I have encountered in a long time. Truly wonderful people, truly wonderful food!”

“I've enjoyed Hunt Bros. for over 20 years. The slices are a great after work snack and on a "we just want the whole thing" night, one phone call is all. Our local Marathon ladies make them less than a mile from our house !”
