“We had ice cream on wheels out for our employee appreciation event and everything was great! The driver arrived 10 mins early to get in position and started serving immediately after opening the window. The driver was professional and courteous. “A childhood memory in Chicago! I brought my husband to experience Gayetys. The charm when we walked in and then the SMELL OF YUMMY CHOCOLATE was a Zen moment!!! We toured the counters then dived into purchases! We had no time for ice cream but we will be back. We did have a piece of chocolate each at home ohhhhh yum. I had the taffy apple for dessert it was like no other. This is a must to visit.“

“It is easy. You get in and out with high quality desserts, but just a little small for when there is a decent amount of people there.
Parking: There were plenty of parking spots open, so you are able to park right next to the store.“

“I was going there for a couple years on the first opened when I was a school bus driver. then after I left the school bus company and we moved out to part forest it wasn't close for me anymore. I tried one in Chicago heights. it was not nearly as good as this one's ice cream. it's fantastic friendly people. I loved it. I missed it. I went back today and it was still great. I always got pistachio and the chocolate abuelita together. great taste! great place“

“Workers are great, quality is awesome. I understand peak times are from like 6pm-10pm, but the absolute madness that occurs on 45th during this time is unbearable. Several vehicles waiting for the drive-thru line both eastbound and westbound on 45th. This is a hazard and needs to be addressed!“

“So I love their ice cream. If I was rating the ice cream it would be five stars. But if you get ice cream do not get it strawberry flavored or flavored anything. The flavoring in the strawberry ice cream is horrendous. Worst artificial flavor ever. Stick to vanilla and chocolate coated 😆“

“Good ice cream flavor selection. My fave so far is brown butter bourbon truffle. It’s a must try. Nice to have a decent place like this here in NWI where you can get your sweet fix while you cool off especially during hot summer days. Check them out!“

“Great place to come to get a good dessert and more. I got myself a cone and I told them I wanted it to be big like the John Hancock Building and they did great. I also got myself a polish beef because I saw they had Vienna Beef products. I enjoyed my items that I purchased. Next time I will try a sundae but as you can see they have such a wide selection of items.“

“Stopped in for the first time today. 1st the girl working was awesome to tell us all the flavors in the case. Next I ordered the mango...I guess it's sorbet, delicious, absolutely delicious. Chunks of mango, sweet but not too sweet loved it. My grandson said it was the best icecream he's had and he got the red velvet cake ice cream. This will for sure be our regular spot.“

“My family of seven visited this establishment today and witnessed your evening manager handling a loud obnoxious and rude older couple absolutely berating the girls. She was kind and professional and kept herself well-mannered and spoken the entire time.“

“This is my go to PLACE after a long WORKOUT- I understand you all are shorthand but the new employees you are hiring are very DISRESPECTFUL- Today 6/3 @ 1:25pm i ordered my YOGURT & the lady who was making didnt have any gloves on while making my YOGURT i politely ask her to wash her hands & put on gloves the cashier immediately stated as ling as she wash her hands no gloves are needed & gloves are obly worn wgen they have on FAKE Nails- she had a very nast attitude - I work in the HEALTH field & will most definitely keep this place in my RADAR......“

“well I'm really torn on if I should recommend or not... most of the time the food is fine but when it comes to fundraisers they are really really horrid. let's put a box out and not put anything on the box so the majority of the people have no idea about tossing their receipts in there for a cause... im pretty sure they make enough money where they can put something on the boxes for the customers... if they are so scared about losing money don't even bother... yesterday I was there around 4 and not one person threw a receipt in the box.. I was the first.... second fundraiser and second time unless you already knew, had no idea about it.. .“

“Been here twice so far would rather come here than go down the street.I love to support a small business. the gentleman who owns the stand is a genuine guy. got two polish with cheese the first time and they were the best I've had around I got a bag of cheetos to go with em an a water think this time I grabbed to regular cheese dogs with onion was happy the came on that authentic poppy seed bun the onions were fresh and plentiful. I found my new hotdog spot like the vibe of a genuine hot dog stand parking is easy and accessible these ain't Gordon Ramsey dogs don't expect a ritzy dog this is a good hearty Midwest hotdog stand with Chicago character come park up meet the man behind the stand and grab a bite reminisce and watch the cars go by“

“This La Michaocana location is probably one of the best in the Chicagoland area. They don't skimp on the fruits. Their slushies are not that good tho, they are basically frozen juice that has been crushed/crumbled. They're not drinkable, it's basically shaved ice.“

“Kyoto Ramen is not a fancy restaurant, but their food and service never disappoints! I have to watch my salt. Kyoto's food is very flavorful, not too salty. They also offer a large array of Asian style sweet drinks and ice cream.

“We ordered the cod dinner on 1/29 and it was delicious. However, when we sat down in a booth we noticed an elderly lady struggling to walk up the icy sidewalk from the parking lot. When the young man brought our food we told him about it and suggested someone spread salt on the area. He was nice and thanked us for mentioning it. However, in the 45 minutes we sat there no one followed through and actually salted the sidewalk. Not good, Culvers.“
