I had the taffy apple for dessert it was like no other. This is a must to visit.“

“They make great shakes. It's one of our go to places, but it is a carryout place. The parking is limited and most people use the drive through to carryout. They have three umbrella seating benches usually being used, so don't count on sitting there. But, the shakes are sure to please.“

“I was going there for a couple years on the first opened when I was a school bus driver. then after I left the school bus company and we moved out to part forest it wasn't close for me anymore. I tried one in Chicago heights. it was not nearly as good as this one's ice cream. it's fantastic friendly people. I loved it. I missed it. I went back today and it was still great. I always got pistachio and the chocolate abuelita together. great taste! great place“

“This is a great little ice cream shop that’s been around for years — a real neighborhood gem. I would’ve given it five stars, but the cashier seemed to be having a serious “grumpy pants” kind of day.

That said, the ice cream was solid, and I’d definitely go back. Just a little tip for next time: smile a bit, Miss Grumpy Pants — it’s ice cream, not jury duty!“

We have a family of 6, and upon arrival, we were personally greeted immediately by what I believe was the GM of the establishment, who wZ pleasantly friendly! The cleanliness of the restaurant was immaculate. The environment and atmosphere was superb. They were patient as we decided what to order. They have great deals and, for a family of 6, each one of us ordered lunch and dessert for about $30! We decided to dine-in, and the service was so fast, that we were personally handed some items before we even sat down! Upon seating, they had brought all of our items to us personally, only about 1 minute after having sat down! It was incredible service. The food and desserts were delicious! The best burger we had in a long time! My sons loved the new confetti dipped cone, and a classic vanilla shake. My husband and I enjoyed our blizzards, and my daughters loved the real strawberries in their strawberry sundaes! Overall, the management and team were awesome, excellent restaurant. thank you DQ for the pleasant experience!“

“well I'm really torn on if I should recommend or not... most of the time the food is fine but when it comes to fundraisers they are really really horrid. let's put a box out and not put anything on the box so the majority of the people have no idea about tossing their receipts in there for a cause... im pretty sure they make enough money where they can put something on the boxes for the customers... if they are so scared about losing money don't even bother... yesterday I was there around 4 and not one person threw a receipt in the box.. I was the first.... second fundraiser and second time unless you already knew, had no idea about it.. .“

“This La Michaocana location is probably one of the best in the Chicagoland area. They don't skimp on the fruits. Their slushies are not that good tho, they are basically frozen juice that has been crushed/crumbled. They're not drinkable, it's basically shaved ice.“

“We ordered the cod dinner on 1/29 and it was delicious. However, when we sat down in a booth we noticed an elderly lady struggling to walk up the icy sidewalk from the parking lot. When the young man brought our food we told him about it and suggested someone spread salt on the area. He was nice and thanked us for mentioning it. However, in the 45 minutes we sat there no one followed through and actually salted the sidewalk. Not good, Culvers.“
