“This La Michaocana location is probably one of the best in the Chicagoland area. They don't skimp on the fruits. Their slushies are not that good tho, they are basically frozen juice that has been crushed/crumbled. They're not drinkable, it's basically shaved ice.“

“A childhood memory in Chicago! I brought my husband to experience Gayetys. The charm when we walked in and then the SMELL OF YUMMY CHOCOLATE was a Zen moment!!! We toured the counters then dived into purchases! We had no time for ice cream but we will be back. We did have a piece of chocolate each at home ohhhhh yum. I had the taffy apple for dessert it was like no other. This is a must to visit.“

“I was going there for a couple years on the first opened when I was a school bus driver. then after I left the school bus company and we moved out to part forest it wasn't close for me anymore. I tried one in Chicago heights. it was not nearly as good as this one's ice cream. it's fantastic friendly people. I loved it. I missed it. I went back today and it was still great. I always got pistachio and the chocolate abuelita together. great taste! great place“

“Great place to come to get a good dessert and more. I got myself a cone and I told them I wanted it to be big like the John Hancock Building and they did great. I also got myself a polish beef because I saw they had Vienna Beef products. I enjoyed my items that I purchased. Next time I will try a sundae but as you can see they have such a wide selection of items.“

The facility is always clean, the service is quick, and the staff is very friendly and willing to give very good suggestions if you are not too sure what to order. If you like a mix of sweet, spicy, and sour make sure to check out the mangonada or diablioto when you stop in!“

“I live 5 minutes away and this location never fails at being amazing. They're always quick, friendly, and by far make the best blizzards. A lot of other locations I have been too over the years have given runny blizzards or don't stir the items and half the blizzard is just ice cream. This is my favorite location and I appreciate everything about this location.“

“Stopped in for the first time today. 1st the girl working was awesome to tell us all the flavors in the case. Next I ordered the mango...I guess it's sorbet, delicious, absolutely delicious. Chunks of mango, sweet but not too sweet loved it. My grandson said it was the best icecream he's had and he got the red velvet cake ice cream. This will for sure be our regular spot.“
