“We thoroughly enjoyed having our wedding reception at The Emerald Green. The new event coordinator, Dani, is truly fantastic. She is very familiar with event hosting and has a solid understanding of the wedding industry. It was a pleasure to work with Dani for her reliable communication, attention to detail, and professional coordination of vendors and reception timeline. Dani respected our floor plan design so the seating arrangement was exactly what we envisioned for our wedding. There was ample seating and space for our DJ, photo booth, dessert table and a gifts table. Our guests especially loved the food and the open bar. Overall, we were pleased with the entire server staff of The Emerald Green. If you are interested in a beautiful venue to host your next event, we recommend this!“

“The people are extremely friendly and close. Entire staff work together and are generous with the love and attention, Also the special activities are well planned and the food is delicious and creative and fresh. Plus they take great pictures.“

“A very clean bar. I didn't eat anything there or even know if they have a kitchen. The bartender was very nice and outgoing. The crowd was like an after work crowd. We were meeting friends there to go to a ball game. Had a great time, the time we were there. I would go again.“

“I travel for work, so I see small bars all over the country. I am personally a karaoke fanatic! What an amazing Karaoke spot! This is the place to be on Friday nights! The service was amazing! Ryan killed it running karaoke. I can’t express how great of a time I had. Will definitely be returning every time I’m in town.“

“The joy I feel when I go to Home Plate Pub is indescribable! The bartenders are the friendliest and most efficient in all The Ville! The quality of the coke has gone down a bit, but the patrons that frequent Home Plate are some of the finest people that you’ll ever meet. The only other bar in Hessville that was FAR SUPERIOR the Home Plate was Brothers II, and sadly that fine establishment is no longer in business! RIP RON & SUE“

“Wow. When did this place sneak in here. Vast whiskey menu, awesome craft beer choice (and reg beer too), and a selection of mixed drinks. Didnt try the food, but i was here to drink so i was happy. Will come back here with family n friends.“

“Visiting the area and family wanted us to try their brews as one of their favorites. Tried a flight of 10 beers and favs were Tangerine Trackstar, Toxic Words, Lucifer in a haze, Immoveable King, Nuban overlord and the top one Here comes the reaper. We also had the Pretzel and queso for snacks. They were very good and fast. They also had ice tea which is not always available at breweries. I will say the art work gave me pause and some of the names being a Christian but I don't know the background to comment.“

“went there for the 1st time last Saturday for Nomad Planet show . Fantastic venue ! Very cool vibe great art work really good food ..had a taco and amazing pulled pork slider that was huge and delicious. We look forward to future shows ! we'll definitely be back .“

They have karaoke I believe about four times a week throughout different times of the week.I recommend purchasing a Bluemotherfuker they're very delicious.I recommend if you are looking for a chill place with friendly faces this is the bar for you.they do not have a kitchen at this time but they do have chips and snacks.Very friendly bartenders.Pinball, darts, videogame, and gambling cards. As well as they have a DJ booth.Outside lounge area for the summer, also indoor smoker friendly.“
