“Friendly bartender nice environment“

“Had lunch here, food was pretty good. Location was previously a different "UFO" restaurant, that had since closed and re-opened as the current Mexican place. At the time I was last there, the Google Maps entry for this place hadn't updated yet, so this review was added belatedly.“

“Our server this evening was absolutely wonderful! She was the only bartender and waitresses. She was a Rockstar! Not only did she provide great service to us. She was amazing with all the other guests. She had a full bar and about 8 tables. We had a wonderful evening!“

“A very clean bar. I didn't eat anything there or even know if they have a kitchen. The bartender was very nice and outgoing. The crowd was like an after work crowd. We were meeting friends there to go to a ball game. Had a great time, the time we were there. I would go again.“

“The joy I feel when I go to Home Plate Pub is indescribable! The bartenders are the friendliest and most efficient in all The Ville! The quality of the coke has gone down a bit, but the patrons that frequent Home Plate are some of the finest people that you’ll ever meet. The only other bar in Hessville that was FAR SUPERIOR the Home Plate was Brothers II, and sadly that fine establishment is no longer in business! RIP RON & SUE“

“I love karaoke! Been doing it for 33 years. If you like real karaoke that starts on time with no BS music video fill ins and fast rotations. This is the place. I came in the first time and was quickly accepted into their karaoke family. Karaoke night on Friday is all about karaoke. I found a home here on Fridays. Karaoke DJ Ryan is the total bomb!!! and understands what real karaoke singers like.“

“Visiting the area and family wanted us to try their brews as one of their favorites. Tried a flight of 10 beers and favs were Tangerine Trackstar, Toxic Words, Lucifer in a haze, Immoveable King, Nuban overlord and the top one Here comes the reaper. We also had the Pretzel and queso for snacks. They were very good and fast. They also had ice tea which is not always available at breweries. I will say the art work gave me pause and some of the names being a Christian but I don't know the background to comment.“

“I celebrated my 45th birthday at this bar and I had a fantastic time. I took pictures and danced with the owner Ms Flo. She always makes sure that I have my space available every time that I have a party at Kenwood Tap.
