“Just moved to valparaiso from the Hell hole illinois.
This bar is 10 min from new house. Been here several times. Food is top notch, servers are friendly and attentive. Bartenders are awesome. Inside is comfortable and makes you feel at home. Outside is awesome, lots of fun things to do overall our #1 spot the unwind.“

“The manager, Katie, went above and beyond with less than an hour’s notice to save our field trip from cancellation after the amusement park we were headed to was closed due to power outages. Katie, and her staff, were incredible! They went above and beyond for our 8th graders, allowing them to celebrate the end of middle school with a memorable, fun experience they’ll cherish forever. I’m a forever customer after today. THANK YOU!“

“Went here for the first time a few days ago even though I have lived in the area for five years Ordered the Austin and Venice sandwiches. The ladies at the counter were fantastic! The sandwiches were excellent and hearty! So so good! Can't wait to return and try the soups next time! Well done!“

“First, the service was very good. The bartender was quick to pick up on whether we wanted a drink or we wanted a menu. The food was great, as always. I have to eat something when I come in here. I just can't pass it up.
Parking: There is a lot of parking, but you may have to walk.“

“I just love boundary waters. I try to go there at least once a week their cheese bacon soup is amazing along with the bread it comes with. The perch and the burgers are fantastic and they’re always willing to make you an adult beverage.“

“We love coming here, and the last couple times we’ve been here, we had Lauren as our server. She is amazing, sit in her section if you can. She’s great at her job. She brought us extra dipping sauces, was very timely, remembered us, was extremely kind, checked on us several times, brought us free samples of her beer recommendations (based off of our personal taste!); I can’t say enough about her! The curds are amazing, the beer is great, and we love everything we’ve tried so far. Get the pizza extra crispy when you go!“

“Had wrote a review a few days ago regarding a coupon not being utilized for a 50% off. I just deleted the review on accident but wanted to update to anyone who had read that. A manager contacted me and apologized for the mistake that had been made. The young man that had taken the order was fairly new and has now been educated on how to process that particular type of coupon. Managment was extremely apologetic and quick to recover and make me feel much better about the situation. They offered a credit for the WHOLE pizza!!! We well absolutely order from Rosati‘s again as that is our favorite pizza and the closest to Chicago as we can get in pizza.“

“It was our first time visiting the Viking Chili Bowl in Valpo. We called ahead for a table since we were a party of 6. Glad we did. Even though the place was packed, we had excellent, friendly service. I was impressed that our food arrived as soon as it did. The food was good. My husband absolutely loved the ham. Portions are big. My granddaughter barely got through a half on one of her pancakes. I had the fish sandwich with Onion rings. Sandwich was standard. I really enjoyed the rings. My husband and I ordered the chili to go for dinner. I have to say, I was disappointed. The only negative. The chili looked very processed. Like it came straight from a can. It was an unappealing brown color and it didn't taste good. Guess I had a sort of expectation from the restaurant's name. Again, everything else was pleasant and enjoyable outside of the Chili. We look forward to returning some time.“

“Visited for the first time a few weeks ago on karaoke night and am still telling others about the positive experience I had! Amanda and Moe (or AMMO for short 😁)were my servers that night and they couldn't have been kinder or more attentive. I had seen Joe, the karaoke host, at another establishment before and knew what to expect. He does an excellent job of hosting and uses better equipment than many of the bars around here, which enhances the performing and listening experience. The only "bad" thing I can say about Tommy B's is I wish they offered food after 10PM, even if it was just appetizers. Thank you, AMMO and Joe for a great night! Look forward to coming back soon!“

“We ordered a large catering order for my daughter's openhouse. The food was all ready on time. Hot, delicious and exactly what we wanted. Everyone at the party raved about how good it was! “I got the spicy wings and celery i tried the wings it was spicy but good we drink the chocolate milk it was good and then this guy brought shrimp Alfredo and mozzarella sticks the sticks were good but cheesy the shrimp alfredo comes with chicken and pasta it was good with chicken though I love this place.“
