“We have Been at Theo’s at least 20 times in the last 3 years. The first time was the best and last night was the last. Food was a lot better 3 years ago. The staff seemed like they cared about you buying the right or the best value, Last night we were ripped off. David was our server. Telling how great the specials were with out telling us the price. My wife wanted seafood not steak. So we ordered her the seafood crab legs, lobster tail and shrimp. Crab legs tasted like they were frozen for a long time, the lobster was Tuff. Shrimp was good in garlic butter. I had a steak. With mushrooms. Do your self a favor ask what the price for any specials . DON’T BUY ANYTHING WITHOUT KNOWING THE PRICE. SeaFood Special $175.66 Who the hell charges this for a pound of crab legs and a lobster tail? Never again! Buyer beware!”

“Always check hours online - and watch your step when you walk in the front door. There are a ton of food items on this menu - including a refrigerated section for soup, frozen pierogies, and there are other salads and desserts.

You do get a discount if you pay in CASH.

I tried some pierogis - potato and sweet cheese. They appear to be fried as they are a bit crunchy, but I like them like that. They are pretty full pierogis. You can order them frozen to go home and cook on your own - or have them cooked to order.

I also got the order of polish sausage w/kraut and some fries. The polish sausage is snappy and the kraut is great. The bun I could do without, but I just removed it and ate on it's own. The fries were salty with a mix of crispy and soggy ones.

I will definitely be back to try more options and more pierogis!

Inside is small, but they added some extra eating in the room next door. You can dine in if you wish, it never seemed too crowded.”

“I live 5 minutes away and this location never fails at being amazing. They're always quick, friendly, and by far make the best blizzards. A lot of other locations I have been too over the years have given runny blizzards or don't stir the items and half the blizzard is just ice cream. This is my favorite location and I appreciate everything about this location.”

“I had never been in or even knew about Bob Evans. My wife made me come. I had breakfast. Started off with a very friendly and helpful hostess. Then a server took our order. Even better than the hostess and that's saying something. Tabitha took our order, helped me decide by giving great suggestions. Excellent choices. I ended up with a sausage biscuit with home fries, egg and gravy. It was good. Cooked just right. And did I tell you that I felt like home. I wish there was a Bob Evans in my state.”

“This is one of my favorite places to go, but however, I went there last Wednesday to get me a regular mod. I waited for about five minutes before the young lady came to wait on me while she was mad and out, though with her hands without gloves, then I witness her, rubbing her hands on her pants without gloves and then go back to put out the dough on the machine that is very unhealthy to me and not only that normally I love going to get this pizza, but however, about time she get to me, she built my pizza and it was horrible This is the first bad experience I had since I’ve been gone for over three years”

“I had my 40th birthday here over the weekend using the party room with about 40 people. Everything turned out so nice. The food was delicious, the servers were very accommodating, there was live music (which I didn’t know about and many people in the party enjoyed) and a DJ at night. We had a blast and I’m so glad that I did the party here. I had a decorator come to add balloons, and some decor. I was worried that the room would be too small, but it worked out perfectly. Thank you Emilio’s for hosting my special event, we had a great time!”

“I came here after shopping at the Antique mall. The popcorn smells amazing everything I walk by. I got the chicken salad sandwich, which was pretty good. The bread was nicely toasted and they put a good amount of the chicken on the sandwich. The chicken salad mayo, tasted tangy, but sweet. It worked well for the sandwich. The cashier brought out the sandwich to my table, which was nice. I cannot wait to try their other sandwiches and have a beer there sometime.”

Parking: The parking lot is shared with other businesses in a strip mall type lot.

Kid-friendliness: I've never met a kid that didn't like pizza, chicken strips or fries which is all something they have.”

“It's clean, the wait staff is well-trained and well-mannered, and the food is tasty and well-prepared. It's a family business, and one of the owners is usually present. I have never had an unpleasant experience in any of their three locations in NW Indiana (Highland, Schererville, Merrillville). Prices are decent; what one would expect to pay for a better-than-average breakfast and lunch venue, but not too costly. Try it. You'll like it!”

“Had a baby shower there. 45 people in the larger party room. It was clean and ready for us to decorate. Food was brought out hot and on time, beverages were filled when needed. Friendly and fast service. Bar could use a few more mock cocktail options. But over all....an excellent experience. I highly recommend.”
