I like the old diner look and nostalgia at Edwards. Interesting location with plenty of space around it. Tried the Indy staple of pork tenderloin sandwich, homemade root beer, and onion rings. The onion rings were amazing! The root beer was really good, but the pork tenderloin sandwich was very disappointing. It seemed undercooked and the outside of it was very dry. The food that I had at Edwards was exceptional I had the fried shrimp and onion rings. It was delivered to my car like the old days of the CarHop and I enjoyed it a great deal. It was just a little pricey but a little better than fast food I enjoyed it I recommend it.
An amazing restaurant (seriously, 10/10...this place was a south side GEM!!!), BUT it's been closed for like a year now. Google just hasn't updated it yetRIP Edwards Drive In...but you can still catch the food truck around the indianapolis area in the spring, summer, and fall
