Stopped in for Lunch.
$10 gets you an entree, soup, fried rice and an egg roll.
Sweet and sour chicken sauce was great. The pre-made chicken was not the best but everything else was great. Everything was fresh and hot.
It's been a few years since I been here but I will be back when I the area.
This is my go to! I miss the old owners but the new ones are just as great! Very nice people! Super clean always on time! Love the beef sticks!

Egg Roll King on Kentucky Ave is a popular local Chinese takeout restaurant. The food is made fresh, service is superb, and they have a drive thru. It is the best Chinese take out in INDY, not just the west side. The food is fast, friendly, and thoroughly cooked with no hassle. It may look like a dump or low budget on the outside, but the food is good and very convenient. A long-time westsider has been coming here since age 13 and is now 41, saying it has always been the best hot and sour soup and fried rice, including pork, chicken, beef, or vegetable fried rice. The pad thai chicken is fire and close to what Thai restaurants serve. Some customers gave one star, but this reviewer never had a bad experience or bad food, calling it some of the best customer service. However, the restaurant is not the same since the new owners. A customer who used to eat there once or twice a week noticed an instant difference. The Singapore noodles are not the same, and there was more grease in the bag than in the egg roll.
